One Night

Hmmmm I'm not too sure what to write about this one. I will say though it's nice to read a book where the man (William) is not just some guy that sleeps around and is too scared of commitment. Right from William and Livy's first night together, actually I think really before that because William was asking about Livy before that even happened so he obviously liked what he saw, William knew what he wanted and he didn't seem to want to give up on Livy. Even when Livy rejected all means of contact at the beginning she couldn't deny the attraction even when she realised who her boss was. It will be interesting where this goes from here.

Terrible. Far to short, part of a series that is expensive. Why someone think its acceptable to write continuation short stories and over price and it's not even quality, milking it from the reader springs to mind. Why not write a quality lengthy book and charge a fair price.

Aunque prefiero mas las historias largas he de admitir que me encantó este libro, donde la autora presenta una historia muy bien trabajada, fluida, rica en detalles, que te permite identificarte con los personajes y disfrutar de la lectura.

I never knew what I'll get when I pick out a random novella to start, but I was glad I chose this. Olivia is spunky and smart, she knows what she wants and she's going for it even though she wants to deny herself at first.
William Connor is a rich business man who crosses paths with Olivia and sparks fly. The two were only meant to have one night but it gets complicated when it turns out Olivia is now working for Connor.
As usual with novellas I feel cheated out of a complete story! But it was good for what it was.

November 19, 2013Socially awkward girl, Livy, and super yummy CEO, Connor -- William to Livy, meet at a friend's wedding and get their bow chika wow wow on. The refreshing thing about this book is she's such a level-headed and career-focused girl who does not go all drooly on the hot guy. She tries to move forward, but a twisted career fact unravels. So intrigued with how things will go in book 2.

Have to admit, I waffled between giving this 2 stars or 3 stars. Maybe 2 and 1/2 is the most honest rating I could give. Writing wasn't as good as similar books I've read lately, and the characters were a little stiff and unrealistic. Couldn't really connect with anyone. But it was a fast and moderately entertaining read, thus the bump up to 3 stars. Not sure if I'll continue the series, though.

Relato corto pero interesante. Está dividido en cuatro libros, cada uno de ellos enmarca una parte de la historia romántica de los personajes. Este primer libro recoge como se conocen y asumen que lo ocurrido entre ello no es solo cuestión de una noche, tal y como acordaron. Veremos que depara el segundo. (Hasta ahora solo está en inglés)

No se si es lenta o falta de detalles. Si, yo sé que es una historia corta pero exijo algo más picante para mantener mi interes y no estoy hablando del tema cama y lujuriosa. En fin, yo me entiendo sola.

This was a very good start to a romantic series. Unfortunately it has been a while since I downloaded this story and could not find any more to continue. So anyway, it seemed promising. A good start.

It never really jumped out at me, compared to others I've read with similarities to this novel but it was a good read never the less.
