This story is short but full of laughs. It is hilarious!

The main character has a friend, Laura, who is very New Age and likes to send presents which are exactly what the recipient needs.

The latest present has very strange effects on our heroine, her three dogs and her husband. The results are very, very naughty, extremely funny and really need a few minutes of your time to find out for yourself what they are.

I promise you that you won't regret sparing the time.

Have fun!

OMG. This short story is hilarious. A young woman gets a surprise package in the mail from her witchy friend. It comes with the simple note -"This is what you need." What ensues are some crazy antics that involve some sweet smelling incense, three dogs, and a whole lot of laughs. When the giggling subsides, Ariel finds out that her friend really did know exactly what she needed, in more ways than one. Mating Instinct is fun tale of friendship, magic, and romance rekindled that anyone will appreciate.

Mating Instinct is an anecdote, which tells the story of Ariel, a wife and mother to several canine children. Ariel is basically content with her life, although she feels as if the spark is dimming between herself and husband Hugh. She discusses this issue with best buddy and confidant Laura, who informs her that she has “just the thing she needs”. So soon Ariel receives a package that has yummy smelling candles, a little confused but trusting in her friend who has not steered her wrong. Ariel lights them up and from this point chaos erupts that results in a hilarious and satisfying read!

Mating Instinct was a fast paced read that grabbed my attention at the beginning mainly because, it was downright funny! Ariel, the main character is extremely humorous when discussing her take on life, and the author does a superb job in translating Ariel’s quirks as endearing. The book flowed smoothing, and swiftly, although it was paced perfectly that if I wanted to stop and come back, I could easily immerse myself into the story again; but it was the type of read that caused a reader to not want to stop, to read as quick as possible to see what waits on the next page. I completed in one sitting, once I really got going!

Author Tara Chevrestt has a fun style of writing, the book caused me to laugh out loud at various moments when the beloved pooches became a little too happy when smelling the alluring candles. The story was easy to follow, well written and a perfect treat for Valentines….I am so happy I grabbed a copy…

I recommend Mating Instinct for 18+ audience, due to some mature themes, but this is a fun, spunky book that I label a must read

This was a hilarious story. All I can say is I have way too many animals and no men. I definitely don't want a twitchy witch in my life that would send me a gift like that. Although it was something that she needed just coming to that point was funny. This is a excellent and comical story that is perfect for when you need a good laugh. We all need that person in our lives that is there to lift you up when you are down, remind you that you are doing right and that you do have purpose in life. The author is really lucky to have someone to call a friend that no matter where you are in life they can show you that you are special and point out your amazing qualities even if you cant see them cause you are too close to the bigger picture. I was given a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.

Mating Instinct is a cute fun read perfect for a quick snack before bed.

When her friend Laura sends her some incense, anything can happen and does. I loved the interaction with the dogs. I could identify with my own dogs and their antics. I only wish this incense was real and that it worked just like it did in the book, I’d buy some in a minute!

What a great romantic story of a couple who find passion again with a little help. It’s so refreshing to see a married couple enjoy some romance. If you are looking for a quick and fun read, this is a perfect book for you!

If you have 10 minutes to spare and want to read something that will leave you feeling light hearted and amused, with a smile on your face, this is for you. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I thoroughly enjoyed this little glimpse into Ariel's life. The story itself flowed smoothly and I think anyone can find something about Ariel (and/or her life) to relate too. A fun, short read that I'll undoubtedly be coming back to when I need a pick me up.

This short story was hilarious. A girl gets a package from her friend, lights some incense, and mayhem ensues. I can't say much more without giving away too much, but this lighthearted tale gave me a good laugh and its also a great lesson in friendship.
