Breaking up is hard to do, as Kathleen Turner discovers. After a falling-out with her ex, high-powered attorney Blane Kirk, she’s moving on the best she can. Unfortunately, someone from her past is set on revenge and nothing short of killing Kathleen will stop them.

Keeping his brother’s ex-girlfriend alive isn’t something new to assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon, but this time can he protect her from himself? She’s a woman he can’t convince himself to walk away from, no matter what it costs him.

Regret is a constant companion for Blane as he realizes the truth behind the lies he’s been told. Can love heal the past, or can some mistakes not be undone?

Murder reunites Blane, Kade, and Kathleen as the police put Blane in their crosshairs. Blane may lose everything unless he and Kade can find the real murderer before it’s too late. But if they can’t set aside their love for the same woman and work together, it will tear them apart.

In Out of Turn, Kathleen is caught between two warring brothers, and the consequences may be fatal.

Anyone who has ever talked to me about this series knows that I am OBSESSED with it! This series has always been at the top of my list when recommending books to others. From the start of No Turning Back, when Kat fell into Blane’s lap, I was completely hooked and fell head over heels in love with the characters and Tiffany’s writing style. Saying that my expectations for Out of Turn were sky high would be an understatement which is probably the biggest reason that rating and writing this review has been so incredibly difficult for me.

What I LOVED
Tiffany’s writing was phenomenal. The banter between the characters, the action, the suspense, and the drama involving the love triangle kept me completely hooked and I couldn’t put this book down until I finished. Not to mention there was a couple of scorching love scenes involving the characters (especially the one involving a closet) ;) ;) These elements were definitely worthy of 5 stars, in my opinion.

What I Struggled With
On a personal level, I am disappointed with the direction that this series has taken (which kills me to admit). I had so many hopes and dreams for what I wanted to see happen after the events of Turning Point. Unfortunately for me, the events of Out of Turn were pretty much the exact opposite of everything that I hoped would happen. I really struggled emotionally with this aspect of the book. By the time I finished this book, I was a sobbing mess and I was left in a book depression/funk for days.

To put a positive spin on this, I can say that I have never had a book cause such a strong emotional reaction from me before. I think that is a testament to the talent that Tiffany holds as a writer that I can get so emotionally involved in the characters.

Overall, I have decided to give Out of Turn a rating of four stars. Despite my personal feelings for the direction that the series has taken, it is still an exceptional read and I guarantee it will have you completely hooked (regardless of what team you are on).

Would I still recommend this series to everyone? HELL YES! Do I plan on reading Point of No Return (the final book)? HELL YES! Do I still plan on reading any other books that Tiffany publishes? DAMN SKIPPY!

5 UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE STARS!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY… This series should come with a WARNING: Do not attempt reading these books if you are easily excited, on medication for your blood pressure, if you have a weakness for HOT DANGEROUS MEN, or have any responsibilities at all that need attending to in your life…. because they will be completely NEGLECTED until you finish the books.
Sleep will be a distant memory… and sexual frustration will claw at your very soul.

It should also noted that you may be tempted to binge eat or partake in substance abuse to calm your unabated anxiety while you wait… for the next release.

 photo Unknown-2.jpeg

This episode in the life of our heroine Kathleen Turner has her life once again in turmoil.

 photo 7208a60e-52b3-4e3e-8731-bcd375a36e77.jpg

And while the violent attempts on her life threaten her physical health… her saviors, the two men who are determined to protect her are unconsciously destroying her soul.

I absolutely LOVED this book. Kathleen gets all that she wished for and more. Blane wants her back.. and he’s willing to do anything to win her heart again. While Kade, now finding her available at last, is turning on the charm to exponential levels.. and he is gaining ground fast. Kathleen still loves Blane, but can’t trust him, and she WANTS Kade like she’s never wanted anyone else, but knows he’s unattainable. But she is slowly learning that Kade will always be there to protect her, and that his feelings go MUCH deeper than she thought.

And what happens in Vegas… definitely does NOT stay in Vegas… it haunts the soul. Kathleen struggles with her feelings of love and guilt between both men. She is in constant denial of what’s in her heart. While the two men… brothers, are at each other’s throats, constantly fighting and both wanting to prove the better man. Kathleen is struggling with how to walk away from them both.

And Blane

 photo a71a8b96-1cb3-4dca-81d4-e0038c5e3906.jpg

Always the good guy is now finding himself in a shadowed light. Now accused of a heinous crime he now finds himself under the microscope of judgement. HIs professional and political careers are in jeopardy, but yet he only finds himself mostly regretting his mistakes with Kat.

And Kade...

 photo XNFZuXy2Zo4z4wk4T6DqKpkco1_1280.jpg

While Kade is quickly gaining ground as the ONE IN LOVE. The one with unmistakable loyalty to both his brother and his girl. But his heart might just be his tragic flaw… the thing that brings him down at last.

And Kathleen… now confused and hurt by her unconscious role in tearing the brothers apart must make a very difficult decision. She must now decide whether her need to LOVE both men will require that she give them both up in order to secure their happiness.

There was NEVER a moment to rest easy, to get comfortable in a situation. There were death threats and life attempts aplenty. There were promises made and broken. Murder and mayhem. Rape and torture. Rat’s and snakes.

 photo 25661oijpg.gif

Must I say more.

And now, we wait… for the next book…
(I feel a huge book hangover coming on….)

"You're different now… harder, I guess.
Colder.
And I just really hate to see you that way."

KADE

I have been flying through this series. For all you girls who had to wait for each book to be released, well done, I would not have been able to wait. I am dying to find out what happens!

I was angry with Blane, that much was true…
He hadn't trusted me.

KATHLEEN

Kathleen is alone and lonely.

"I see you're still a shitload of trouble."

Blane shows up and it becomes apparent that he has somebody following Kathleen, just to keep her safe. He feel her life is still in danger. Kathleen is not impressed by his high-handedness.

Kade is back in town and needs Kathleen to go on a job with him to Vegas. Happy Days! Does what happens in Vegas, stay in Vegas?

Kade Dennon wasn't the kind of man who went on dates. He was the kind of man who walked into a place, crooked his finger, and a dozen women came running, hoping for a chance to be in his bed. Dates were unnecessary

ALMOST ONLY COUNTS
IN HORSESHOES AND HAND GRENADES

"Don't depend on me, princess,
I'll disappoint you every time."

Things change when Blane is accused of murder. Kade and Kathleen, aw, even their names sound good together… return to Indianapolis in a show of support.

"I could get addicted to you."

I won't say too much but will say that it is action all the way. Never a dull moment with Kathleen. Yes, she is like the proverbial cat with nine lives, a lot of which are fast running out.

But … Blane. It always seemed to come back to him.

BLANE

I loved them both, but Kade had been wrong when he said one of them would have me. That wasn't going to happen. Not when I knew it would drive them apart for good. I couldn't - I wouldn’t - be the catylyst for that.

The air was thick with hydrangas and roses

”It makes me wish I had another man’s soul...”

“People make mistakes. Trust me,
I’m the king of fucking up.”

“Stop saying things like that! You can’t… tell me all of that and then walk off like it’s no big deal! You’re killing me... Offer me something or offer me nothing, but stop trying to play both sides.”

“I'm not the hero, princess," he said roughly. "Hell, I'm not even the good guy. Don't try to pretend I'm something I'm not.”

I could taste the salt of my tears on his tongue, feel the warm brush of his thumbs on my cheeks as he cradled my face in his hands

"Don’t cry, princess ..."

So,

for the grand finale…

The tables seem to have turned and Blane is no longer the clear cut winner in this love triangle. He and Kathleen are broken up and everyone, including Kade, is having to deal with the fallout of Blane's betrayal. But the past comes back to haunt them, and when Blane feels responsible for yet again putting Kathleen in danger, he calls in the big guns to help him protect her...Kade.

Kathleen was devastated to learn how little Blane trusted her, and despite his heroics in book three of this series, she is having a hard time letting go and forgiving the man that she fell so hard for.
"Blane should have believed me when it counted, when I'd stood in his office while he accused me of being unfaithful, of betraying him. that;s when he should have believed me. It was far too late now for anything he said to matter."

It seems as if Blane finally pushed her into the arms of his own brother, the strong man who has only ever had one weak spot...Kathleen.

But Blan will not give up so easily, and he's obvious about his intentions and remorseful about his past deeds. So it's head to head once again between the two brothers, and this is the most angsty book of the love triangle so far. Lines are drawn and Kathleen has to make a decision.

With someone targeting Kathleen, these three now have to work together again, but their relationships aren't nearly as congenial as they have been up to this point. Sexual tension is off the charts, and unexpected events lead to unexpected circumstances.

Kate gets a lot of facetime, and I felt like we got to know him so much better in this book. Instead of backing off for his brother's sake, Blane's betrayal of them both has made Kade decide to up the ante and let Kathleen know how much he wants her. Still, he does not deem himself relationship material, and he also brings that to the forefront.
"I'm not the hero, princess," he said roughly. "Hell, I'm not even the good guy."

Each successive book in this series has gotten hotter and hotter, and this one is no exception. My ears were burning, my cheeks on fire. And I want more. I feel like I could read this series forever. I don't even care if she makes a decision between the guys. I don't care if they're brothers, and it doesn't bother me in the least.

I love Kathleen Turner. She's one tough chick, and she's the kind of heroine that I love to read about. She's self sufficient but just needy enough to be saved on occasion. She's also an extremely loyal friend and a defender of the weak, even when her strengths are minimal. She does what's right. That's what makes her guilt about loving two men so bearable. Her guilt is genuine, but her conflict is also understandable. I still can't choose, and I'm on the outside looking in! (gotta admit, I've always leaned more toward being team Kade, but ESPECIALLY after the way Blane acted in the last book.) I can totally empathize with her situation.
"And I was suddenly tired of it all. Tired of feeling guilty for coming between Blane and Kade. tired of seeing my hopes and dreams vaporizing into dust. Tired of losing people I lived. tired of the heartache I endured each and ever day and the regrets I had for trusting a man who couldn't trust me in return. But mostly I was tired of doing what I was supposed to do, when I got nothing from it but pain and a broken heart."

This is yet another action packed, edge of your seat thrilling ride.

From the word go, I was sucked in and glued to these pages. And even though there isn't an obviously clear cut winner on the triangle front, for me, it's fairly obvious who Kathleen has given her heart to.

*I have chosen to aptly compare this to a Katy Perry song as to express the nature of our beloved love triangle in the form of Katy Perry GIFS....and a FRIENDS one, because....reasons*

"I need you," Kade said. "I've never needed anyone the way I need you. You and I have something, and if this is the only chance I'm going to get to convince you of that, then I'm going to take it."

I can't believe I'm saying this but....this might just be my favorite book of the series. Yeah, it was still super annoying when she was being abducted or bullied or having a knife drawn on her every other chapter, but for some reason this one just made me very happy. And also annoyed lol-that seems to be a consistent with this series, though.

No one had shot at me in weeks, or beat me up. I hadn't been cut, punched, or slapped. No one threatened me, stalked me, or stabbed me.
It was a nice change.

Ya don't say?

It's no secret that the Kathleen Turner series is over the top crazy and wholly unbelievable. And anyone that has read even just one of my reviews knows that this is what annoys me most in books-cheesy dialogue, unrealistic scenarios yada yada. I mean, these are her thoughts on Kade while being with Blane, and even for Blane, too, a lot of times:

 photo 2envq06_zpsyq9cmj2u.gif

Girl has issues.

But where all the others in the series were about Kathleen acting like a total whore, this one separated itself (at least in my mind) as one of the only stories where I could, and I cannot believe I am going to say this, begrudgingly find a minuscule piece of respect for the harlot.

Choosing to be with either one of them at this point would ruin their relationship forever, wouldn't it?

*Face palm*

It's so funny, because she's maybe even more morally corrupt than usual, but I respected her, here and there-not much, though, mind you. She went for what she wanted (we all know what the fuck she wants) and she didn't get walked on the whole book *busts out laughing*. Okay okaaaaay, I can't say that with a straight face-she maybe stood up for herself once or twice, but she's still the neediest damsel in distress if I've ever seen one. I just liked how she did what she wanted, I guess-finally. I mean, she's been bordering that invisible line in the sand for three books, why not step over the ledge and take the plunge? Seriously, though, this is her relationship with Blane, anyway-

 photo large 7_zps0szrq6mv.gif

I caught Blane looking sideways at the bread and noodles.
"So is there an assassin hiding in the frozen foods?" I asked snidely, my pride stung when I suspected he was looking down his upper-class nose at my food.
His gray eyes met mine. "None that I can see." His serious reply took the heat from my snit and I heaved an inward sigh.

Oh look at me. Here I am harping on dear Kathleen, and, oh yes, she's mostly to blame for this love triangle from hell, but the men are hardly on the up and up...take a look:

We have Blane, the overprotective, but probably most consistent, hero who is madly in love with Kathleen-but he sure fucks shit up a lot-I blame him for a lot of things. But not once has he let anyone believe he doesn't love Kathleen-it's been crystal clear from the beginning. Not like some people, who I will get to in the next paragraph. But, even after saying all that good stuff about Blane, he made me see red in this story, and I can't say what, and I can't say why, and I can't say how, but just know that *COUGH WHORE COUGH* he does some inexcusable things in the aftermath of book three's finale-no matter what happened, I do believe this is a blurred line I was speaking of.

"I'm not the hero, princess," he said roughly. "Hell, I'm not even the good guy. Don't try and pretend I'm something I'm not." He untangled my fingers from his shirt and got out of the car.
-Kade

And Kade. My beautiful, tortured, Kade. I adored him in this book....but he acted like an utter moron at times. And not just in this book, if I'm being honest.

 photo tumblr_mjd79nyi9y1s274s1o1_500_zpsy1qxuxnu.gif

He's been my favorite-for more reasons than I can count-since book one. He's dark, he's mysterious, and he's so sweet and tortured (I might be exaggerating on the sweet part-that's just the girl in me making him sweeter than he is). But, as sad as it is to say, it's wrong how he went after Kathleen. She was Blane's girl and he was always all up on her. One minute he needs her like the air he breathes, and the next he's pushing her away to be with Blane because it's 'right'. Can anyone say...

 photo gif-hot-n-cold-katy-perry-music-wedding-Favim.com-238832_zpsgrocc1lo.gif

I mean, you can see he's madly in love with her....why won't he just go to Blane, or Kathleen for fuck's sake, and say he's in love with her and it's killing him inside? Well, then, I suppose we wouldn't get the trashiest books ever like the author so clearly wants to produce.

Kade's fingers caressed my jaw. "It means you're beautiful. Desirable. That I can't keep my hands off you any more than I can tell my heart to stop beating. It means I listen for your voice when I know you're near and love it when I can smell your perfume on my clothes at the end of the day."

I dunno, guys. It's hard when you're reading a series that borders on mentally insane and you are actually enjoying it. It's the oddest feeling. I love both guys, they are so frikkin' addicting, and I don't like Kathleen. She's an air-head moron who can't decide who the hell she loves to save her life (no worries, she has, like, fifty million lives to spare, and even if she didn't, Blane or Kade always save her). But can I just say....

HOTTEST. SEX SCENE. EVER. Like...ever. And can I also just say-Finally. I was...I just...I loved...Agh. Nothing. That is all.

Kade straightened and once again took my hand. "Your choices are your own, ," he said. "But hear this-if anything else happens that so much as harms a hair on her head, my face will be the last one you see."

So, yeah. This book is no different than the rest, but for some reason I enjoyed it the most. Maybe because of the situation and turn of events in the aftermath of book three, but either way, it had me the most enthralled. You know my team, I've been on it since day one, but that doesn't make it right. Still stupid, still completely unbelievable, she still does the most annoying shit, and everyone continues to treat Kathleen like a brothel employee....but eh. I liked it. Sue me.

I'm not sure I can write a review that will do this book justice. It's that awesome. It's an edge of your seat, keep you up all night, page turner. In my opinion, this is the best of the series and some of Tiffany Snow's best writing work. She's taken angst and emotional turmoil to a new level with this entry into the series. And let's not forget some of the best one-liners coming out of Kade's mouth.

Out of Turn picks up a few weeks after Blane and Kathleen's break up. Kathleen isn't dealing with it very well. She's drinking, sometimes heavily, to numb her emotions instead of falling apart for the pain she still feels over what was said and done. But Kathleen discovers she has bigger problems on her hands: mainly James Gage wants her dead because of her role in sending him to prison. And when Kathleen's in trouble that can only mean one thing...Blane and Kade to the rescue, even if she doesn't think she needs it.

There is a very interesting dynamic between Kathleen, Blane and Kade. She might be pissed at one (or at times both of them), Blane and Kade could be pissed at each other or Kathleen, but they always have each others backs. And when you see this dynamic at work, you have to wonder just how Kathleen is going to be able to deal with her feelings for both of them. Out of Turn focuses quite a bit on Kathleen and Kade's relationship, so we get to see just what Kathleen feels for Kade. But at the same time, she can't deny what she feels for Blane. No matter how much the hurt over what happened between them overshadows her love, she does still love him. Is she in love with Blane? Is she in love with Kade? That's the million dollar question and I don't envy Kathleen and the decision she has to make.

If you haven't picked up this series, it's one that I highly recommend. It's addictive. For me, I'll be seeking therapy as I wait for the final book, POINT OF NO RETURN, to come out in May.

Why? Why? Why?
 photo 5_zps94a47d82.gif

I have a serious problem with this series. Part of it is my own fault for reading the books so closely together, but the other part is just the shear ridiculousness of it all. My main problem is I HATE the heroine. She forgets to eat to the point she passes out. She puts herself into stupid situations to be saved by *insert cute guy here*. She continues to kiss or have sex with one man, just to lament about how much she loves the other. Every time I turn around she is being battered or bruise by something happening to her. Also all the blame for the break up in book #3 is put on Blane for not trusting her, but….I think had he not caught her spooning his brother and known that she lied about seeing him and was keeping ‘something’ from him he might not have jumped to that conclusion also there were pictures and they were pretty damning. In my opinion Kathleen had already cheated, you shouldn’t be sleeping with a man telling him you love him and then holding hands and spooning with another man…NOT OKAY. Maybe she didn’t sleep with Kade in book 3 but she let things go farther than they should have.

 photo bitchslap_zps9cf7f7fe.jpg

This is the reason I normally don’t read love triangles they really just piss me off for the most part. I get too emotionally inverted in the characters and even though I want to remain neutral the thing is I almost always end up on a side and can’t leave it. Plus the characters do atrocious things. There is a scene in a closet that under the right circumstances might have been hot, but under the circumstances of Blane and Kade being brothers was just….

awkward photo: awkward awkwardawkward.gif

Really there wasn’t a character in this book that at some point in time I didn’t want to punch in the face.

punch in face photo: tumblr_lutijdTLUf1r3761so3_250.gif

The only person in this book who stated exactly what he wanted and stuck to it was Blane. Kat super wishy/washy. Kade did that whole I want you, I can’t be with you, I want you, you’re better off without me, no I must have you thing that I hate as well. Much like Bella Swan I can’t figure out why these two men are both interested in Kathleen.

Deep Breath - But even after everything stated above I have to know who will she pick. I know who I really want, but in love triangles the guy I like is the one left out in the cold 90% of the time (hence the reason I hate love triangles). I am also shamed that even after finishing this and knowing how much it infuriated me that I’m still thinking about it. Damn you Tiffany Snow.

I think I really just need to hug it out. A love triangle for 5 books is just way too long. But if this happens I might just be out

Well, it was bound to happen. You’re gonna drag a love triangle out this long and it is bound to happen with me.

I spent most of this book being frustrated.
Annoyed.
And pissed off.

In general, I think it’s pretty hard to escape from being at the center of a love triangle without the wishy-washy-bitch label being slapped on your face, although I thought Kathleen had a chance at it in this series. But nope, in this book 4 I saw for myself that she is the wishy to the washy QUEEN and I kinda hated her guts the entire time. It made for an unpleasant reading experience.

I feel a little silly for getting so upset over this book. I mean, this series is highly ridiculous and cheesy, but I KNEW all that going in and was able to take it for what it was and had fun with it. I recognized early on that there was no way to enjoy these books if you took any of it seriously, so I hadn’t been. And yet, here I am, in book 4 and all of a sudden I am taking all of it WAY too seriously and these characters are pissing me the hell off! I can’t just shrug my shoulders anymore, I can’t laugh it off and I can’t give a little eye roll and move on. I don’t know what my problem is, I wish I could just take a chill pill and go back to just having fun with it.

I’m not gonna go into all the things that pissed me off in this book. There’s some stuff in the comments section of my reading updates, and I don’t feel like rehashing it. I just...I kinda hate these characters. And the ONE that I don’t hate, I’m scared shitless that he is going to get hurt.

But even with all this, I’m still excited for the last book. I need some damn resolution. Kathleen, get your head out of your ass. If you dick around too much in the next book, I will find you and punch you in the fucking face. Pick a guy and stick with your decision!

♥♥♥Kade Dennon♥♥♥...what more is there to say?

Kathleen and Blane have split,Kade seems to have left town, and Kat is left trying to pick up the pieces...with the help of lots of Vodka.

But someone is looking for revenge and they want Kat to suffer.
Enter Blane and Kade to protect the woman they both love. Blane is filled with regret over the lies he believed and what his choice cost him. Can he get Kathleen to forgive him and give him a second chance?Kade...Sweet.Baby.Jesus. I want him! Kathleen has a hold on him and no matter how hard he tries, he cannot walk away from her. Now that Kat is single, will Kade get his chance?? Who will Kat turn to?

"What I meant to say," he said in my ear, "is that you’re beautiful, no matter what you’re wearing, and that dress makes me wish I had another man’s soul."

I was so frustrated throughout this book! I really wanted Kat to make a decision! The choice is VERY CLEAR (to me, anyway). Regardless. This was a face paced, action-packed, steamy read. Kat has must have 9 lives, she is always in danger! I adore this series. Everyone should read it!! <3<3<3

And finally...

♥Fantastic buddy read with some lovely ladies!♥

4.5 Oooo I love Kade stars!

It is no secret that I have been a Kade fan since the very first book in this series, No Turning Back “the tall, dark and handsome stranger that had asked if I was all right after the crazy nut job had tried to slice my throat open.”

“What I meant to say,” he said in my ear, “is that you’re beautiful, no matter what you’re wearing, and that dress makes me wish I had another man’s soul.”

This series has been so good and this fourth installment did not disappoint. It had all of the action, intrigue, romance, love triangle-ness I enjoy.
And of course I could not have been more pleased with the amount of Kade-time in this one.
But damn if that stubborn Kat didn’t make him work for it.
And damn if that Blane didn’t make him be a hero yet again.
And damn now I have to wait until May for more…

*** 3.5 STARS ***

This is going to be a frustrating and equally difficult review to write.

I've gotten to the point I was afraid of and dreading. HATING THE LOVE TRIANGLE.

KATHLEEN + KADE + BLANE = FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, up until this book I was not minding the love triangle. It wasn't that messy or annoying. Both men are delicious. Both men offering different things for Kat. Both men vying for her heart.

But here, in this book, it got messy. I won't spoil things. But A LOT happens. Good and bad. Unfortunately, the bad almost outweighing the good. ALMOST.

I didn't like what happened here. Specifically between the trio. I wanted the triangle to resolve by taking a different route, not the one Kathleen took. And by that I mean how she handles things, NOT who she chose. She doesn't want to get between the brothers. BUT YOU DID, A LONG, LONG TIME AGO. But I understood what she was saying. But Kat needs to face the situation like Kade and Blane did. TRUTHFULLY. She spent too much time denying things while refusing to face them head on. That is her biggest fault.

That fault left me frustrated and angry with her. I don't fault her feelings for the brothers, regardless of it being at the same time. I fault her inability to handle the situation in a mature and decent manner.

Regardless, this is the risk of a love triangle, right? it divides the reader, makes them question who they want the heroine to end up with? I know who I want Kat to end up with. And I think she does too. I don't think it's a toss up anymore, it was clear to me who she's chosen. That makes me happy--as to why exactly, whether it's the man I want or the fact she's finally chosen? Well, you'll have to read to find out, ;-00. I'm just happy!

I still love this series, just not impressed with Kathleen this time around. The story is still fast-paced, action-filled, suspense to die for and all around fabulous. I was glued to my ipad and aside from the extreme stress I endured, this is a very well written and incredibly absorbing series! Can't wait for the 5th book where all the loose ends are tied up! Also the man that doesn't end up with Kat, apparently gets his own spinoff book(s) :-))
love you Kade, <33333

This book. I cannot shut up about this book. By far THE BEST one of the series.

From the very first book in this series, I've been Team Blane. I honestly never viewed these books as any sort of love triangle because I have always wanted Kat to fall in love and end up with Blane.

There's so much that happens in this book that had me gasping and questioning motives from Kat, Blane, and Kade. More so than the other books. The beginning of the book had me worried for Kat, that she was on a downward spiral of destruction. I could feel her pain and heartbreak from the break up with Blane. She thought he was her forever afterall!

But then the three cross paths again and the tension radiates from all three of them. Should Kat and Kade forgive Blane? Does Blane even realize what the Senator had done??

The murder that occurred, I was more than shocked! I did not picture this character leaving the story line at any point in the series. And the other characters, I loved that Mona and Gerard were present throughout the whole thing. They were such a support for all three of them. And all the people at The Drop too who have been there throughout the series are still mentioned.

And as Tiffany writes about the trial and investigation, I couldn't stop thinking about how will this be topped in the final book Point of No Return?

Then at Clarice's wedding and all the way to the end of the story, I kept thinking about how Kat has never wanted to come between the two brothers. She has always been one to sacrifice her own happiness so that they will be there for each other. She loves them both, but does one give her the HEA that fairy tales are made of?

Everyone who loves romantic suspense needs to pick up this series. This book shows how much Kat, Blane, and Kade have grown and I cannot wait for Point of No Return and Turn on a Dime: Kade's Turn.

All I can think of right now, is

and

Seriously, can you blame me? I've been waiting soooo long for this to happen! Just let me ride this wave of happiness...

No?

O-kay.

So, in Out Of Turn Blane and Kathleen are apart, Kade is nowhere to be seen and Kathleen is still heartbroken and bitter. I mean, who wouldn't be after what Blane said and did?

Kathleen's attitude is like this:

because, hey, vodka is a broken-hearted girl's best friend! While Kade is MIA, Blane tries to win back Kathleen by "protecting her" from a bad guy. Uh huh.

But after Kade comes back and . Some very, very awesome things happen there (hint, hint) and then they're back to normal. Until Blane is a primary suspect for Kandi's murder. So, Kade, Blane and Kathleen have to work together in order to clear Blane and save Kathleen from the bad guy.

So. Let's talk a bit about the characters.

Blane. Well, I kinda felt sorry for him; there definitely was some character development there but the fact remains:

Me being one of them.

Kade. Well, he's a man after my heart.:) Simple as that.

“It means you’re beautiful. Desirable. That I can’t keep my
hands off you any more than I can tell my heart to stop beating. It means I listen for your voice when I know you’re near and love it when I can smell your perfume on my clothes at the end of the day.”

Kathleen. In Out Of Turn she appeared to be more badass, more confident. Sure, why she still has feelings for Blane is beyond me -though in that way I can keep Kade to myself- but I just understood her logic. It was nice to see her liberating herself and doing what she wants instead of what's expected of her.

Because the truth is, this is not a usual love-triangle. Hell, I was vacillating between Blane and Kade myself. (But Kade is better.)

So, do I reccomend it?

Hell yeah! Go grab it, readers!

There aren't enough words for me to describe how much I loved this book!! Best one to date.

“No one had shot at me in weeks, or beat me up. I hadn’t been cut, punched, or slapped. No one threatened me, stalked me, or stabbed me. It was a nice change.”

It’s been days after I’ve read Out of Turn by Tiffany Snow and I am still can’t stop thinking about it. I am going to apologize now in case this review turns into a bit of a rambling, gushing, Kade biased review. I can’t help it…

Just when Kathleen was trying hard to get back on track with her life and move on, danger has found her yet again and she gets sucked back into the chaos that is Blane and Kade’s life.

But this Kathleen isn’t the same Kathleen. At least not at the beginning of the story. This Kathleen is hurt, angry, a bit cold, and emotionless. She doesn’t want to feel or care, so she drinks a lot to dumb her pain. This is nothing like the warm Kathleen that I have come to love. But I could totally understand where she is coming from. Having your heart broken by your ex-fiancé because he didn’t have enough faith/trust in you can do that to a girl.

I loved it! There aren’t enough words out there for me to describe how much I thought this book rocked. Seriously. Each book in the series has been better than the last. Out of all four books, this one is the best one to me. There is plenty of action, thrills, drama, and steamy romance.

“He closed his eyes and tipped his head back slightly. “I love to hear you laugh,” he murmured. “Makes me think of springtime, and carnivals, and being happy.” My smile faded. The things Kade said sometimes— they made my heart hurt. “Aren’t you happy?” I asked. His eyes opened, their piercing blue captivating me. “I am when I’m with you.” My heart seemed to skip a beat and the small smile I gave him was watery. “Me, too,” I whispered, my throat clogged with emotion.”

I am team Kade. I am desperately hoping that Kathleen ends up with him, now more than ever. The last book in the series Point of No Return is slated to be released in May 2014 and of course it cannot get here fast enough! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romantic suspense storyline and steamy romance.

**I received this book in exchange for nothing, but my honest opinion.**

I'm really confused, conflicted, and angry. I'm a Team groupie from the VERY beginning, right when Tiffany introduced his character, and I have never wavered from my position. Well damn this book for making me second guessing myself, and damn the way

It will be a while before I can actually put up a review without ranting with spoilers.

4.5 Angst Overload stars!!

I have been completely consumed with this series this week! It's original, it's action packed and I have grown to love the characters. I love Tiffany Snow's writing. It's so nice to have a break from the played out storylines and cheesy dialogue. I had a hard time deciding between 4 and 5 stars for this installment. It had so many 5 star moments, great banter, awesome action and yet the last part of the book was almost too much for me to cope with! I don't think my review has major spoilers, but I think I will recommend not reading the rest if you haven't started the series:)

Throughout the series I have enjoyed Kathleen. I like her humor, I like that she's independent and kind of a badass but not to the point where it's annoying. She has integrity and tries to do the right thing. I loved her in the beginning of this book, she was cracking me up with her feisty attitude and smart mouth comments. I have to admit though that for the first time she started pissing me off in the second half of the book. I like her so much that I desperately don't want her to turn into that heroine. The girl who plays manipulative games and won't own up to her feelings. Kade and Blane were honest about their feelings for her, and she owed it to both of them to put her big girl panties on and do the same thing. This was the first book where I felt that the love triangle got a little messy, I guess that's to be expected. What I think makes it so intriguing is that all three of the characters are endearing. I haven't been shy about my team Kade status, but I still like Blane and can understand Kathleen's dilemma.

I can't wait for the next book, in fact I've already pre-ordered it:))

Reread may 2018

Update: reread june 2017

It's a bit over the top haha and the love triangle gets a bit too much by now. But it's just a fun book and Kade is one of my favorite heroes ever.

________
Re-read.
Still love this series and Kade (*sigh*). It is really heavy on the love triangle though. I wish she'd just pick Kade already.

5 KADE DENNON STARS!

This is the 4th book in the Kathleen Turner and I think it was my favorite so far.

Again, So much happens. Lots of action, suspense, twists, funny parts, steaminess, angst. Really entertaining, with no dull moments and really hard to put down. This was also the most frustrating book so far in the series mostly due to Kathleen in some parts, but oh well, Kade made up for it for me.

At this point, its no surprise that there is a love triangle in this series. And well I applaud TS because she has put me through the ringer in this love triangle. Definitely one of the best love triangles I have seen. I have changed my mind I don’t even know how many times. I've loved both Blane & Kade characters throughout the series. They each are great characters. Neither one is the good guy but neither one is the bad guy either. They each have something completely different to offer. At times I was siding more towards Kade but I was still a bit conflicted in book 3. But this book!! this book, brought me clarity right from the start:

Kade! Kade! Kade! Kade!:

Yes, I personally didn’t need much convincing. But the more I read on, it solidified my decision. I’m so infatuated with him. He is incredible. I even dreamed of him last night. LOL

Thanks to the girls who were part of this awesome BR. It definitely added to the fun. :) We have to do it again in May!

Waaahat?!

That's all I keep saying, every 5 minutes. What? waahat! These are more cries of exasperation than sheer joy. I'm a huge Tiffany A. Snow fan. I've even e-mailed her to express so & I've was more than delighted to receive a response from her.
However, Out of Turn & Turn on a Dime (Blake's Third Person POV) were not stellar reads. I've got 60% of the book complete & while some of the book's dialogue had left me laughing or squealing with delight; the overall book is horrible.
This love triangle is way too daytime soap drama-ish. What drew me to Kathleen was not just her sense right & wrong but her spunky spirit. It seems now all she does is cry & make out with both brothers. Without giving spoilers, I was incredibly disappointed with her charter this go around.
In the first 3 books, no matter how much Kade felt for Kathleen he never allowed himself to betray his brother. So to see him so easily doing that in the fourth book is unnerving.
The plot for this book is weak. There are not many supporting characters, just mentions of or brief appearances, made by the ones we were introduced to before. I also find it hard to believe these 4 books have occurred in the span of a little less than a year. The first book began around Halloween & were told it's now July 4th. No one can survive that many attempts on their life in that short of a time frame.

Torn between a man she loves but doesnt trust and a man that she wants but doesnt love. Will Kathleen end up with Blane or Kade?

I would loved to give 5 stars but I got a bit restless with Kathleen. Her jumping from one guy to the other, not owning up to her feelings. I needed her to decide sooner. Im still team Kade but my heart goes out to Blane.

This book still had all the action, heart flutters, angst, sexy time andso much feelings . I cant recommend this series enough!!! Im excited to see how this will all come to an end. X

This one just killed me! My favourite so far, there were fewer death defying incidents - although there were still plenty of them - and much more emotional angst in this as Kat flits between the hot brothers. There were so many gut churning moments, I was absolutely gripped. I'm not sure how the author's going to pull this back to a hea, but I'm intrigued enough to read on.

The fast paced action and tight plotting in this is such a refreshing change to read. This is a great series. Recommended, but read the others first.

RE-READ AND DOWNGRADED FROM 5 TO 3 STARS

You see my review below - that's how I felt for this series until this installment. This should have been named TURNING POINT instead. After joining the FB groups and thinking it over for months, I realized that Out of Turn was a big disappointment to me. This was the installment that turned this love triangle into a tawdry mess.

Kathleen was funny. Kathleen was clumsy. Kathleen was lovable in her quirks. But the thing I liked the most about her was that she did not flip flop like normal heroines do in love triangles. Instead, we got 3 books of a solid love affair between Blane and Kat. There were problems but up until the end of book 3, Blane was a solid choice who did his best to protect Kat. Did he do douchey things? Yes, he did but bear in mind that this was in character. Here was a take charge guy who was used to fast action and decisions rather than hemming and hawing over options and consequences.

So we had 3 books of having us invested in Blane and his relationship with Kat. But at the end of book 3, Blane is thrown under the bus. Blane does the unthinkable. I know several people who switched teams after that. One of the FB posts highlighted by Tiffany Snow presented the best argument yet. "Poor Blane, his whole world changed in a matter of seconds. He was betrayed by the people that meant the most to him, who cares if he was wrong about the physical part, Kathleen and Kade clearly had an emotional connection. Blane's reaction was an expected one, and true to his character - he had to solider on. Blane is awe-inspiring on so many levels, he is the true hero."

There is team Blane and team Kade. BUT I actually believe Kat should just give up and let go. I cannot see a way to write yourself out of this ugly mess. A love triangle is ugly enough as it is but a love triangle between two brothers??! It's downright nasty and disgusting. I can't even comprehend how Kat and Kade can pursue this angle. As a decent human being, would you ever hook up with your sibling's ex - fully knowing that your sibling realizes that mistake and is devastated by it? As for Kat, I don't even have the words. Or maybe - I do. Get out and leave and find a conscience! There will be other men but don't get in the way of two brothers - especially these two men given their history. It's called SELF-SACRIFICE! BE A DECENT PERSON AND EARN BACK YOUR RESPECTABILITY!

--------------------------------------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-------------------------------------------

This is one of those instances wherein you wished you could give more than five stars in your review.

In this NA genre heavy book world, this series is such a breath of fresh air. We are not riddled with pages and pages of POVs detailing the brokenness of these characters and their inabilities to live a normal life. There is no great secret that threatens all. This is a love story riddled with a crime mystery. It's fast-paced, witty, swoon-worthy, romantic and action-packed. There is never a dull moment in Kathleen Turner's world. How is she still alive????

And this is how you properly do a love triangle. You build a strong case for the two men that justifies the h's confusion and attraction to each one. Two men. Two very different characters each holding a very distinct attraction for Kathleen. I've been Team Blane since day one and continue to be BUT ONLY BECAUSE I AM A CREATURE OF HABIT AND COMFORT. I fully understand all the positives Kade has going for himself. And I wouldn't mind if Kathleen ended up with him. That's the very beauty of this love triangle right here. You as a reader will also be confused and constantly switch teams - most likely. There is no angst for the sake of drawing the reader in. There is no unnecessary drama. Every development is organic. You can really see the character going there.

I"m not going to prolong this review by looking up every synonym to "brilliant" that I can find. You just need to read it to find out for yourself.

Out of Turn (Kathleen Turner #4) by Tiffany Snow
5 Star book in a 5 star series!

I don’t know how to say this without sounding ridiculous and immature but it’s exactly how I feel so I’m going for it anyway. I swear NO…. I KNOW I must be Tiffany Snows biggest fan, this series biggest fan. There is no doubt in my mind….told you it would sound immature LOL. Truly I have LOVED these characters, this story, and the writing since I have picked up No Turning Back (Kathleen Turner, #1) way back when on a whim. I had no idea how sucked in I would get. The writing is great, the flow is just perfect and the twist & turns are everything I need to keep from getting bored. Throw in the sexiness of Blane , Kade and Katherine and you have the recipe for a perfect series. I have NEVER EVER been able to pick between Blane or Kade so I simply refused to. I love them BOTH EQUALLY. I trust Tiffany Snow completely and I decided I would go with whatever she decides in the end. I have read many books, many series and I have never seen an author so in tune with her characters. She stayed true to them the whole way through. Never did I say “he /she would have never said that or done that” followed by an eye roll. (That has definitely pissed me off on some occasions with certain series/authors that shall remain nameless.) Anyway moving forward, believe me when I tell you no one is more shocked than I, when after completing this book I find myself wishing she picks Kade. This book had me feeling EVERY EMOTION all over again which is classic Tiffany Snow. I was happy, sad ,nervous, frustrated and scared. I was in lust, and I even laughed out loud a few times. When an author can make me feel all that without rolling my eyes once I need to bow my hat to her. Here is where I want to say, bring on the next book Tiffany! I’m so ready! But I can’t, because I know with the next book we will be closer to the end. How bittersweet… I think I may need to be hospitalized or at the very least in need of some therapy. LOL Please ladies if you haven’t started this series do yourself a favor & start now. You can come and thank me later ;)

Scarlett Johansson has always been Kathleen to me.

This is my Blane

This is as close to my Kade as I can find for now

Kathleen almost gets killed. Yawn.

Someone threatens to rape Kathleen. Snooze.

Kathleen is stubborn and throws herself into danger. Boooored.

Yadda, yadda, sexual tension, yadda, yadda.

Kade sex scene. I'M ON THAT SHIT LIKE WHITE ON RICE!

Dammit, if it weren't for Kade and that ending, I don't know how I would feel about this series continuing! At this point I feel like every book has the exact same conflict and events.

CHOOSE KADE AND END THIS NONSENSE.

No normal person runs into this much trouble and nearly dies this often. IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN.

Tiffany Snow releases about one of these books per year. I read a lot, like four to five books a week. In the year between books, I always mark my calendar to prepare for the next release. But inevitably, it never fails, Every. Time. I forget how amazing this series is.

Kathleen has had her share of near death scrapes. She has been engaged to and recently dumped by Blane. She has had an undeniable attraction toward Blane's brother Kade, but, she has not acted on it. In the previous book, Blane broke it off with Kathleen blaming her for something she didn't do. It seems that their relationship was doomed to fail because at every turn, someone or something is there trying to keep them apart.

Kathleen is barely surviving. She is living her life one day at a time. She still works at the bar but after being fired from the law firm, money is tight.Kathleen has never lead a boring life, but lately things have been pretty slow. That is, until her life is threatened....again.

Of course, the new threat brings out the two men who she was trying desperately to forget.

Blane tries to step in and help her and he begins to see that he may have been incredibly wrong to have believed the lies he was fed by his uncle. But is it too little too late?

As Kathleen's string of bad luck continues, Kade steps in and the chemistry is undeniable.

But Kade is not the one she loves and he knows that he is no good for her.

Kathleen can't help her feelings. She is angry and confused. But she still can't deny that under it all, she still feels love.

Kade tries to protect Kathleen. But she is a magnet for danger.

Blane realizes what a fool he has been.

When the cards fall Kathleen realizes she may have bet more than she can afford to loose.

This series is absolutely fan-freaking-tastic. There is mystery, intrigue, action, love, hate, betrayal and a heaping dose of crazy hot sex. Perfection! Kathleen is such an amazing character. She is tough and strong but also vulnerable and real. Kade is a tortured soul looking for redemption. Blake, well, he needs to get his head out of his ass and realize that his political ambitions won't keep him warm at night.

If you haven't taken a look at this series yet, I would definitely recommend it. It is really good. I would categorize this book as romantic suspense. Action is the primary focus in this book but the romance comes in a close second. Tiffany Snow writes so well that there is never a boring moment. The details are perfect, not too much but enough to make the story world rich. The dialogue is amazing. There is snarky humor that I absolutely adore. I will be continuing to follow this series as it progresses. I LOVE IT! (Go team Kade!)

5 Stars!
