Marie A. Norfleet - An Authoress, CEO of Game Changing Dynasty (umbrella to companies Game Changing Publications, Game Changing Prints, Game Changing Designs, Game Changing Apparel, Game Changers Footwear and Game Changers Cosmetics) Stage Play producer, aspiring actress/singer

Marie, a jack of many trades; is a fairly new face in the literary world, bursting onto the scene, ready and willing to share her stories. Since she was a young child, writing became a significant factor in her life, often her escape from the reality of the real world. As life's obstacles began to take their positions and the hurdles became harder to jump over, her love for writing slowly died. But at the tender age of 22, having been through many trials & tribulations in her young life, from abusive relationships, teen pregnancy, homelessness and prostitution to finding love, getting married and starting a family; Marie was inspired and picked up her pen again.
Writing a memoir like story with an urban fictional twist, Marie entitled the book "This Game Called Life". The title came from an expression Marie heard a lot while growing up "Life is like a card game, either you play the hand you were dealt or you fold". Immediately upon finishing the story and reading it over, Marie made the conscious decision to share her heartfelt tale and broadcast her refueled passion for writing to the world. She independently released her debut title on April 30th 2012, selling over a thousand copies and landing on few of Amazon's Best Seller's List in a short three month span. With the success of her book, Marie decided to submit her story to, G Street Chronicles, a major publishing house in Urban Literature. She signed a contract with them in July of 2012.
A decision was collectively made, to pull the book from its online retailers; "This Game Called Life" was revised and re-released on August 25th 2012. Due to irreconcilable differences, G Street Chronicles and Marie parted ways in December of 2012. Marie has since, started her own self -publishing company, "Game Changing Publications" and several other subdivisions under her own umbrella Game Changing Dynasty.

They say confession is good for the soul, well if that is the case you soul is bound to be jumping for joy with this series.

Victoria Howerton is a new author who has a story to tell. In the process of networking on Facebook she meets another author named Vincent Acosta and they just click. They have like interests and are obviously looking for something adventurous. In the process of getting to know each they realize that they REALLY don’t know each other until it is too late to do anything about it. What do you do when the person that you thought you knew you really don’t know at all? You confess it all!

Undercover Lovers is the first book in this series and I can see where this series is going to be on FIRE! The story that has been started has steam behind it and it is picking up speed fast! This is a short read, only 45 pages long but you get a lot of bang for your buck! I look forward to reading the rest of the series because I have to know where this goes! Great job Marie, keep up the good work!

In the short story Undercover Lovers: Getting Lost in The Sheets by Marie Norfleet readers will be introduced to main characters Victoria and Vincent. The two are both authors who are equally talented in their own right. What starts as friendly conversations via a popular social network quickly develops into something else.

Undercover Lovers tells the all too familiar tale of what happens when two people unhappy in their present relationships cross the line and then later left with life changing realizations, decisions and dilemmas.

Readers and fans of drama will definitely enjoy this story because it was well written with just enough suspense to keep you engrossed. Author Marie Norfleet did a great job at creating an emotionally correct storyline with perfect plot execution.

The ending definitely caught me off guard but this being my first time reading from this author, she definitely has piqued my interest to see what else she has in store.

Vincent and Victoria were both a hand full. Victoria is an author with a husband that is having an affair. Not only is he having an affair, but she is very well aware of the fact. Victor is an old school player that takes advantage of the fact that Victoria is going through a bunch of changes at home, for me that's when the comedy begins. These two are a complete mess. Once or twice I know I straight busted out laughing. I love this story ,a few times I was like , on my goodness, no she didn't or I know that didn't just happen. I really enjoyed the underlying messages within the pages. I look forward to reading more of Marie's work.

Actual review is a 4.5

So this is my first time reading anything by Ms Norfleet and I must say I am pleasantly surprised!! She has a great way of incorporating real life into fiction and making you feel as if the scenes are playing out right before your eyes.

I knew the character Vincent was too good to be true and I can not wait to see how the next part of this story pans out. Victoria was a little naive to be so trusting of Vincent but, overall she is an awesome character ... a real sweetheart. There were a few misspelled words but all in all this was a great short! I will definitely be checking out more of Ms Norfleet 's work in the future :-)

Simply Amazing! Talking about a surprise ending! Loved the characters. The sexual chemistry between Vincent and Victoria was great. Talking about trapped in the closet! Who would have thought? Her husband was a typical cheating dog, but I did find myself asking does two wrongs make a right? Are there any exceptions to the rules? Looks like all these lovers had undercover secrets. Awesome job Marie! I think everyone should check this one out this steamy short story. It is a must read!
