Ada has her life planned, and there's no place in it for men or relationships. Even if she had the time or the inclination, Eddie Bakare is the last man she would ever consider. He may be every girl's fantasy - handsome, rich, charming, and so sure of himself - but Ada is not interested in fantasy when reality keeps her very well occupied.
But Eddie is determined to make her change her mind. Will she be able to resist him now that she is the center of his attentions, and does she even want to?
Somi loves to read. She is a sucker for romance and can usually be found sighing over the exquisite love stories she consumes regularly.
In 2012, she started publishing the story that became Always Yours, as a blog serial at www.lagosromanceseries.com. It was later published as a novel. Her other books include Hidden Currents, the standalone sequel to Always Yours, as well as a short story, Jungle Justice.
She lives in Lagos, sometimes, and Houston at other times. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s either chasing her toddler around, mourning Daenerys Targaryen, or consoling herself with other TV shows and movies.
I enjoyed the book very much. I enjoyed reading about how love overcame prejudices...how we shouldn't judge someone without getting to know who they really are. Just because someone else in a certain social level acts unseemly doesn't give us the right to put everyone in the same way.I appreciate this type of story.
Ada was too stubborn, which became annoying after a while. I had hoped she got over herself sooner. Eddie’s charming disposition more than made up for her silliness!
I think I prefer the first one but this one is equally interesting. Ada is rather blunt in her action for someone who is always awkward when her love interest is around. It's a nice story but very short.
