"My heart rate increased, my breathing was short and quick, there was fluttering in my stomach and my chest was tight. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and my senses went into overdrive. Every muscle was coiled tighter than Dick’s hat band in anticipation of his first touch. There was nothing to tell me that he stood behind me but I knew he was there."

Elaina Freeman mystery man left her skin on fire and she could hardly wait the week out in hopes of seeing him again. But fate had different plans in mind and Elaina meets Christian Dubois at her favorite restaurant. Alone since nineteen, his gentle touch offers Elaina the safety and security she needed.

Two men.

Together they will slay the demon that Elaina has tried to escape since leaving her small town but first they have to conquer her boss.

4 for the story... 0 for editing.

There were a few bits that struck me as a bit odd or that I would have changed, but saying that, I would have read straight thru them and not given them a second thought if the constant typos and errors hadn't been slapping me up side the head and breaking the flow.

But... I did finish it. I did enjoy it. I did go looking to see if there was a sequel

If it wasn't for the editing issues, I'd probably keep it on my 'to read again' list aswell. - update... have still reread, even with the typos.

The moral of this little rant is - great story if you are any good at the ol 'mental edit'... If you're not... Perhaps you'd best steer clear.

Unfortunately I was distracted by a lot of grammatical errors. While the book was pretty good, the errors kept annoying me and taking away my focus.

This story was good. Unfortunately the book needs a good proofreader. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for all the mistakes.

Wow, what a story. It reminds me of the Her Two Billionaires series by Julia Kent with more drama and a crazy twist.
