So I read this little gem when it came out. Since I paid for it, I forced myself to read it. I just found it again on my kindle and started to re-read it before it all came tumbling back.
I'm just gonna state the plot. I'm pretty sure my rating will be easy to understand.
Manho H fucks his secretary on the regular, has a fuckbuddy from childhood who is now a doctor, other chicks too, I'm sure. He relies on the h to financially bail out his company a couple times a year. He is personally responsible for the suppression of her personality during their longterm relationship. Making her the drudge he now hates.
The h puts up with some unbearable and unbelievable bullshit from the H before she catches him in all of this shit and leaves him.
He has a meltdown and hate-fucks his secretary the night the h catches him and leaves him. He'd been fucking his fuckbuddy just a few hours before when the h caught him doing her.
Then he has a car crash and loses his memory. The h is suckered into taking him back to help him heal. He redeems himself, somewhat. But only because he can't remember and she rolls over cuz he's nice to her.
But then he marries her trapping her without a prenup as he gains some of his memory back. The remembering is never explained and he never tells the h he remembers what he put her through.
Literally the day he plans on asking the h to marry him you have a wtf moment where he runs into his secretary but it's over in 2 lines and you don't know what's going on.
And then the DAY THEY GET MARRIED HE CALLS THE FUCKBUDDY TO START UP AGAIN SAYING HES "GOING TO DO (HER) NINE KINDS OF FUCKING TWISTED HOTSICLE"
Followed by two words "THE END"

The author writes very well and we are sucked into the story and we were very emotional about it. I'm waiting for the sequel.
Just a good story can leave us touched in this way. I was furious, angry, upset and with all kinds of emotion possible. If a book provokes us all that it is well-written.
Only defect is that has no end to history. Leaves us hanging.

The hero, Caleb (who's name supposed to be a holly name in books), ruined everything!
He's a serial cheater..
The heroine seem too stupid to live or just too forgiving.
That was just, stupid of her.
The writing is poor and boring.

Caleb is definitely most women’s nightmare when it comes to an arrogant personality of one that thinks he is all that and owed by most women. And as it has been stated, he is the bad boy everyone loves to hate. But how many true Caleb’s are out there and play the field as he does and get by with it? More than we would like to admit.
Caleb owns his own company and looks at woman as his next score. He is stringing 3 along at this time and his time for his secret little rendezvous is coming to an end.
His live in girlfriend, Sarah is in the dark on his indiscretions until she comes across an email that gives her the opportunity to find out what he has been doing all along. Discovering his true self, Sarah calls him out on all of it and leaves him. In his despair, he’s driving and has an accident causing him to have memory loss.
Has Caleb changed from the person he used to be and is this memory loss a blessing for a new beginning for Sarah?
I think Ms. McNeil hit this one perfectly. I hate the man but Ms. McNeil wrote this so well, she deserves the rating she got from me.

When first being introduced to Caleb right away you know he's a player , but as the story progresses you are completely drawn into the depths of his depravity. Kim McNeil is such a talented writer! She has the gift of truly good writers of being able to draw you in right from the first page. There were so many delightful twists and turns in this story. As soon as you think you have everything figured out and you start to have compassion for Caleb, BAM!! Another curve ball!! I enjoyed this story so much that I became a complete fan of Kim's work and am waiting with baited breath for her next book!! Thank you Kim for this amazing book!!

What the hell did I just read? I’m not even sure it should be called a book. I read it because I was curious and it was free and I needed a break from the book I am currently reading. It was a quick read, but it’s still 2 hours I will never get back.

I hated Caleb at the beginning.... then something happens in the story that makes you not hate Caleb.... and then the big swerve at the end... F'ing hate Caleb....argh.... no HEA.. no redemption...nothing ... sad as it could have been a great HEA... but I did not write it... and while It was written very well... I cannot LIKE it because it was not for my liking....

I devoured this story in the matter of two days. I'd have finished it in one, but the family demanded to be fed and the day job required my presence. With that being said, I did NOT want to put my Kindle down. I found myself sneaking minutes here and there so I could read about what would happen next.
Most people have known of a "Caleb" to cross their path or the path of someone they know. To me, that makes the story more realistic. He's that guy that you love to hate: egotistical and cocky. Kudos, McNiel! I wanted to slap my Kindle on more than one occasion because of Caleb's actions. (Don't panic. No Kindles were harmed while I read the story.) ;)
I hate predictable stories where I've guessed by page five what will happen in the end. This is not the case for Caleb. I was surprised with the ending; however, I won't ruin it for you.
Bravo for a fluid and engaging read. I can't wait to see what Kim McNiel comes up with next!

When you have a man like Caleb, the first thing you wanna do is punch him in the nose then drag him off to a dark corner and ride him til the cows come home!!!
Ms McNiel hit this one outta the ballpark!!! I will have to say that it was very much a pleasure to read. I am very picky about content and this isn't my usual but in this case that didn't matter. The read was smooth and flawless. I enjoyed the local terminology that she used. I felt like I was actually in Texas...lol...
Her characters had depth and were realistic. She was able to deliver a whole range of emotion with a smack from left field at the end!!! This is definitely an author to follow. If this is her debut, watch out world...she's gonna take you by storm!!!!

Caleb is a smooth talking hottie.. you will hate him, but get sucked into his charming ways.. Living with the woman who loves him and does everything for him, from being the perfect trophy to supporting his business. He changes woman like night turns to day you know it's going to happen and you just can't help but be pulled along. His lies build, his buddies back him up, until his world comes to a screeching hault.

Different and creative take on a womanizer
Caleb is not a bad boy he’s a little shit. He’s so detestable all you want to do is slug him, but then the best ending ever. You don’t see it coming and it’s so satisfying. All the characters are interesting, so is Caleb, it’s just that he’s not likeable. The story is original, creative, not so much romance because of Caleb’s POV, but well plotted erotica. Fast paced and with a ‘chatty’ style you will enjoy this book because of its originality.

Just NO! The male lead - - I won't call him a hero - - is a self-serving, egotistical, prick! The female lead (is she really the lead?) is stupid, gullible, and a twit!
All he does is think with his dick and the hardest he works is to manipulate women to get his way.
Gah! There is apparently a follow-up book coming out which, much as I disliked this one, I will probably read it in the hope that he will get what's coming to him. At least, that's what was hinted at on the website I saw. Let's hope!
