The book is a clear picture of what a network marketing business can do for you. I don't understand why more people in America can't see the value of network marketing - it's an incredible business model.

I read the Young Living Essential Oils edition. Lots of great information to chew on! It is great to have a resource to explain the validity and authenticity of network marketing and how it isn't all a scam. If it worked as it was meant to work, it would be a clear and flourishing model of the original American dream - to endure working hard doing something you love within a community and becoming successful. It will be great to refer to this book as I continue to expand my own home business with Young Living Essential Oils.

If you ever wondered about Network Marketing/MLM’s/Direct Sales vs illegal Pyramid Schemes...this book is for you. I became a Young Living Independent Distributor back in July and the biggest opposition I always face when discussing the business side of it is whether or not it’s a pyramid scheme (fyi all businesses *technically* are, but no YL isn’t- we offer a product/service). Now I understand the differences a heck of a lot better, so I can answer them with a lot more clarity.

It's basically just an explanation of how direct sales and network marketing work. I guess that would be useful if you didn't know.

TRIGGERS: none.
WRITING: short, to the point, and formatted in a nice style with pictures. The largeness of text, quotes, and pictures makes the book easy to follow.
WHAT I LIKED:
- It is a quick summary to Network Marketing, and a brief guide to the keys to a successful business.
- Complex subjects like geometric progression, retention rate, and 200 Rule were broken down with pictures to make them understandable even to a young reader.
- Short, easy read.
- The focus on creating a community/team that will be with you for the rest of your life.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
- In the section about famous and inspirational people who endorse Network Marketing it only showed white men. It was a two and a half page section but there were no women or people of color. While this does not make the book terrible or any less valuable, it was a bit disconcerting to see as a woman looking into the field.
- It would have been nice to have had more examples of Brooke's business experience and life alongside the keys to success. However, I realize that would probably take away from the efficiency and quickness of the read.

Read this book (the Master’s Edition) during an airplane ride with a baby in my arms. It was an easy read. What I find interesting about the author is that he really gives both the pros and the cons about network marketing. Multiple times he says “ only 5% of people try to develop an asset income with network marketing and only 1% of people actually do it.” It doesn’t sound like good odds! Except that I know so many people who have created an asset income with it. And at this point it is doing that for me. It’s a matter of persistence over time. A freaking incredible opportunity to get paid over and over for the work that you did long ago! I’m grateful I started my business even before reading this book but it’s excellent for anybody considering the business.

This book is a fast read with so much information it blows your socks off. It’s a clear, concise look at the network marketing industry and what you need to do to be a success in this industry. It’s a must read if you are thinking about this profession and a good Gold mine if you are in the profession.

Such a great read to understand the power of network marketing and how this is such an excellent business model. Work hard now and reap the benefits for years later. Find a product you are passionate about and one that you believes changes peoples lives and then tell everyone about it! How exciting!

Great snapshot and overview of network marketing. The stories at the end help to paint the picture of the diversity of people that this industry can work for and reinforce the idea that this can work for anyone that wants it.

The title pretty much sums up the book for me. Work hard, treat your Network Marketing company like a job, and don’t give up. Worth the read, but no a-ha moments for me.

This is basically a book to explain what multi level marketing is. No problem if that’s what it is but a waste of time for me since I already knew. No help or advice so no use to me
