Kiss #1

The First Kiss

Rate this book
The first electrifying novel in a two-book series of erotic romance featuring struggling singer Amelia Ashton.

Amelia Ashton is a woman with ambition. A singer-songwriter determined to make it to the top of the music business, she finds her plans going awry as one record producer after another falls for her long red hair rather than her sweet music.

When an invitation to her American mother's fifth wedding in Las Vegas arrives, Amelia decides to take a break from them all while she does her daughterly duty, but a chance meeting with an old friend makes for a surprisingly interesting trip. And when Amelia returns to London she is more than ready to sort out her affairs, both musical and otherwise. . .

If you enjoyed Fifty Shades of Grey, you will love this.

Ok!!! First the title must be changed to "life of a nymphomaniac" !!!!! Second no story, boring and overloaded with sex encounters, sex scenes and really bad timing with all of them!!! I wonder how Amelia has time to breath?!? This book is simply jumping from a sex scene to another as if to fill up pages!!!! It's terrible!!! And it's suppose to be the first book of a trilogy!!! God how does this book give any envy to even buy the others!!!! I have to say that some ideas were not bad and if it was thoroughly worked on this book could have been really a master piece! Like sex because of lack of love and affection, the relationship with richard and all the others more defined and worked on ok!!!! But u feel that the good stuff were replaced by sex scenes and god she has so many of them with so many different people that u really get bored and wonder about lack of protection and health check up when u are suppose to "feel the romance" !!! Terrible!!!!!

Ugh....Amelia.....I did feel like she was probably deep down just looking for some one to really love her not just want her for her body. Maybe if she didn't try to jump every guy she met at every chance she got she may have found it a bit sooner. Kind of didn't really feel the connection in this book and besides the fact that I read Sunkissed just before this book and found that some of the dialogue right at the start where she was having sex with one of the first guys was exactly the same right down to what was being said and the way Stephanie Ash described certain parts of the guys anatomy. This I found was a bit of a failure on the authors part big time. I'm glad in the end Amelia finally realised what a great guy Richard was. I felt a bit sorry for him and kind of wished he'd tell her where to take a hike.

The book was poorly written and the main character was completely undesirable. She made Anastasia from Fifty Shades look like Wonder Woman. I was not expecting Katniss by any means but the horrid creature that stars in this novel is worse than the atrocious writing. Did not finish and only intend to in the future so I can fairly warn my bloggers in a full review. At least I got it on special but sadly I got both books and will have to also read a book two to this thing. Ugh. - Date: Sunday Jan 24, 2016.

First of all I got this story in A Erotica Omnibus which had 2 other stories in the book as well. I Didn't actually finish this story though as I found it a bit boring and repetitive. And that's saying something for me because I hate to not finish a book
Once I've started wether it's Rubish or not I usually tend to persevere but I just couldn't with this one. And Yes the woman character is a total slut who sleeps with anyone but that's ok plenty of books have characters like her but there is just no substance to her at all. I just couldn't get into it at all.

I apologise to Stephanie Ash but the First Kiss was boring. It was badly written and the main character Amelia was a slut. Any guy that she came into contact with, she slept with! Sorry but this was boring and awful.

By the way, I did try.

Did not enjoy this book at all.... Literally threw it in the bin half way through. No likeable characters, weak story line. Disappointing as I've read other Stephanie Ash books and enjoyed them.

The author did an amazing job with graphic descriptive sex scenes in this book, however this book lacked plot, or any kind of story line.

I didn't like this book at all. There was no story other than sex on every second page.

The author writes well. I liked most of the book. I liked the main character Amelia. I did not like her friend, Karis, who treated a man badly.
