Next up in the Callahans of Copper Creek is Zeke Callahans love story! I’m hoping this is a surprise to some of you, as I’m thinking many people thought Brielle’s story would be the last one.
But surprise! I’ve done this with my last two series and turns out I really enjoy getting the love story of the single or widowed parent to you.
Zeke Callahan has had his hands full raising six daughters on his own. He’s a cowboy through and through and is possibly one of the most intimidating cowboys in Copper Creek.
But it’s time to start seeing his softer side. AND… to see him get his very own later in life love story.
A better description is coming soon! I can't wait to get you your final Callahan book.
Marrying a Cowboy is a second chance love for Zeke and Agatha. Both have raised children on their own and now all are grown and they feel lonely. Zeke raised 7 girls after his wife passed. They kept him to busy along with his ranch to where he didn't need to date. Agatha raised her son all alone and felt too busy working and caring for him to date. However, with the girls getting married, Zeke is feeling a loneliness he hasn't felt before. And Agatha's house catching fire from lightening has caused her to live in Zeke's hunting cabin alone as her son was sent to live in the bunkhouse. It is a story of two wits trying to become the one that is right. But the butting of heads soon come together to see if they can make a relationship that will cure their loneliness.
Marrying a Cowboy is the final book in this sweet Christian series.
Now that Zeke Callahan’s daughters are all married or engaged he starts to feel like he is missing something.
Agatha has followed her grown son to Copper Creek when he gets a job working at the Callahan ranch.
When Agatha’s house is struck by lightning, Zeke offers to help out. They are both very stubborn and set in their own ways. Can they learn to trust each other instead of stubbornly only wanting their own way?
This is a sweet clean well written romance which I really enjoyed.
I received a free copy of this book and freely and honestly leave my review.
Zeke has met his match with his next door neighbor, Agatha Birch. Agatha is a single mother following her son as he becomes a hired hand at Zeke’s Ranch. When Agatha’s house is struck by lightning, Zeke takes charge in his no nonsense manner. Agatha has to continually remind him she is an independent adult with a mind of her own. They seem to fight a lot and both seem insecure in having a relationship. Will these two learn how to get along with each other and find happiness together?
After watching all of his daughters find their happily-ever-after, it was only fair that the patriarch of the clan find his as well. Although we never really got to know his first wife, we understand through references throughout the series that Zeke had a special relationship with his daughters' mother. Finding love again late in life was not something he expected, but life sometimes throws us a curveball when we least expect it. This final installment in the Callahans of Copper Creek saga was a fitting ending to a great series!
this is the story of zeke the father and how is is trying to help agatha a new neighbor in town . her house is hit by lighting and he offers a place to stay. he has finally met someone as bullheaded and opinionated as he is his daughters have opinions and so do the men who are with the daughters. she is from the c ity and does not want to except his or anyone's help or opinions this is a good story well written i was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review
Marrying a Cowboy is a Christian, heartwarming romance of an older couple - Zeke and Agatha. I am so glad Ms. Dean decided to write Zeke's story. He certainly deserved it after raising seven daughters on his own. Enter Agatha, a town newcomer whose home burns to the ground. She is as opinionated and stubborn as Zeke so she stands up to him. It was a delight watching these two fall in love in this well written romance. I was fascinated by their journey and could not put the book down.
This is a well written later in life romance with strong characters in Zeke and Agatha. The author does a great job developing their relationship and gives them an entertaining banter. They have a strong connection but have some misunderstandings along the way. The characters are strong, the story moves fluidly with perfectly painted scenes and she delivers a terrific read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Marrying a Cowboy By Natalie Dean is a well-written clean western romance based on Christian principles. It is a book from a fine series with wonderful real characters you get to know well. The story is so captivating that you can hardly put the book down. I fell in love with the series with all these wonderful stories of very special people
I have loved this series and am glad that Zeke has gotten his own story. Agatha is the perfect match for Zeke, he needs someone he can’t bully. Agatha needs to learn that it is okay to lean on someone besides yourself. Both Zeke and Agatha have some lessons to learn and Natalie Dean has given them to them.
Loved reading about Zele and Agatha. I would have several different animals to compare them to. Stubborn mules, two goats butting heads and last two bulls each determined to have their domain. Everyone knows you don’ put two bulls in the same pen and not have trouble . Read the book and see if they become two lovebirds
I enjoyed wrapping things up with the Callahans, though I have to admit I’m kind of glad. When you binge read a series, the danger is that you begin to pick up on the basic plot outline similarities of each of them. They become a little formulaic and predictable. It is still a good novel, clean writing, good editing but not quite 5stars worth.
Agatha is determined to make it on her own, even when her house burns down and the rich, handsome Zeke Callahan offers her a place to live, food, and clothing. She spits and argues, rudely resisting (repeatedly) before grudgingly accepting his help. Zeke, meanwhile, veers between thinking she's unbearable and unbearably cute. I had a bit of a hard time getting into this one.
I loved Zeke's story. I think this is the best one yet. To watch the strong Zeke Callahan find happiness after so long was a great story. As he an Agatha worked through tough things, not because they are so different, but because they are so much alike made for a great story.
I was looking forward to this story and I must say that I was not disappointed. Zeke really deserved to find a special someone after raising 7 daughters alone and watching them all find their special someones.
This series has been consistently entertaining! I'm going to say that I am hoping that the Callahan family members will be a part of the Meagan series. If you're looking for entertaining characters, interesting storylines and clean romance then this book is for you.
This is a great story about 2 older, empty nesters. Both are stubborn and determined, neither is looking for a relationship and they clash because of the tension between them. It's amusing and dramatic, and so entertaining. I loved the story and the characters.
Actually this is my favorite series. I love the entire family with its ups and downs. Thank you for also showing that you don't have to be young to find happiness.
I appreciate Zeke finally finding love again, and Agatha is in the same boat. But of course with both of them, single parenthood has meant independence. Both are stubborn and set in their ways, and it takes their kids helping out to get it done.
So glad the Callahan dad got his own book, it got my attention from the first page. I think this is my favorite. Can't wait until the next series starts.
