Subtitled: "an erotic adventure in which you are the hero."
This is a small pocket-sized paperback, an abridged version of Alina Reyes' Behind Closed Doors. In this volume the "for men" section is excerpted. (For the women's version, see The Sexual Labyrinth.
I don't see what the point is of abridging erotica. This seems to me a bad marketing gimmick. Not only is it a shortened version, it also separates the male from the female parts of the work. (See Close Encounters for the other half).
My boyfriend and I read this aloud to each other during a road trip and had the most wonderful time. It’s strangely philosophical and metaphysical at times and disturbing at others. I only wish there were more dicks in the main characters hole - that’s what we were here for! The first chapter is the most fulfilling, with the endings quite lovely and thought provoking as well. All in all it was a lovely surprise to find more than just smut. There’s also too many commas.
I think this is the same book, my review of a Phoenix mini paperback is called 'Brief Encounter' ... maybe I read an abridged version?
I guess this is erotic fiction - not a genre I am particularly familiar with! But, despite the confusing circus/labyrinth structure, there appears to be some depth here; the hero searching for his lost love and having to make choices along the way that lead to a sad hermit's end or an equally sad suicide as a rich playboy.
very very exciting as you enter from a door to another it feels like you being the one who's opening doors & making those outstanding actions with the Lost shadow of the past & the other one really interesting. to be Re-commanded to all erotic literature fans ^^
