Books brought them together, blood lust binds them, but can her puritanical father pull them apart?
Lily loves fiction and has done since she was a child. It was her escape from the harsh reality of life being brought up by just her over-protective dad. Tom only ever reads textbooks, claiming that there’s enough to fascinate in this world and that he has no need to read about pretend places. But when he walks into Lily’s book shop he finds out they have a lot more in common than he first thought.
When the young couple take a trip to the famous vampire and human bar, The Point, Lily gets a shock. Her estranged father is there as part of a Purity protest; he is violently opposed to her, Tom and anything that the cult calls unclean. Which is just about anything fun.
Can Lily and Tom overcome these prejudices and their own inexperience to find love that will last forever?
A quintessentially English Vampire story - who else would brew up when the going gets tough!!
Lily has not had the best life - her controlling father forcing her to decide to leave home at at young age. Not up on social life she spends her time in her book shop ... then Tom walks in one day and her world is turned upside down.
Tom is new to this Vampire life but it gives him the courage to finally take that step through the book shop door.
A sweet story with a few twists. Set in the same 'universe' as Victoria's 'The Point' Series.
Copy received from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Literally Bitten by Victoria Blisse Literally Bitten is about a woman (Lily) who has had a not so good life. The only constant thing in her life is books. She lost her mom at a young age so all she had was her father. She moved out in her late teens and took a job at a book store. Lily ended up inheriting the store from the owner once they passed and it was a dream come true for her. She was a lonely woman until one day a man (Tom) came in to the store. She ended up helping him with more than a book selection. They always say dreams come true when you least expect it and she had found her dream in Tom. This was a good quick read by Victoria. She sure threw me for a loop in this one but then again she usually does! That is what I like to call great writing skills.
