If you enjoy reading Twilight. Hush, Hush, Halo and Hunger games you'll enjoy reading Trinity. In a small town named Ketra, wrapped in rolling hills, Elizabeth Starr and her mother live in a time where mysterious legends have been told for generations. One in particular, spoken of the most, is the legend of the two clans, the Corzos and the Ogres. Lenzo leads the Corzos, and Ozar the Ogres. Their fathers before them led the clans when they were one. They were cousins, and Lenzo's father was Cortize. The father of Ozar was Orion. They were obedient to the laws of Trinity, which kept all realms and dimensions in order with balance, peace, and harmony with the immortal and mortal worlds. Orion rebelled against the laws as jealousy arose over a mortal woman who chose Cortize over him in marriage. They then became divided. Trinity ordered Lenzo and his warriors to stop Ozar so that the laws would be restored once again. Elizabeth and her friend Sara Williams were invited for a day hike with their long-time school mates Jared Collins and Danny Smith, the day after their junior year ended for summer vacation. They set out on an old trail called Teak Forks Trail, which was no longer used due to mysterious deaths. Another hiking trail was used in place of it miles away. During the long, hot hike, Lizzy feared the legend and became frightened. When they reached an area they never knew existed, she surprisingly became infatuated with Jared and found romance. Then confusion took over, and her life became complicated. They found the legend to be true, and her rescuer, Lenzo, could transform from human to wolf, as all clan members could. She became overwhelmed with his beauty and strength and couldn't resist her feelings for him. Not only was there a battle with the clans, but also a battle in her life, as she wanted to have both Jared and Lenzo. She was living in torment when she found out that Ozar also wanted her for himself. The saga continues in Horizon

I just recently finished this book last night and I must say, I RECOMMEND THIS!! Most of the book is from the view of Elizabeth or Liz is really what she goes by. While taking a camping trip with her best friend Sara and the 2 guy friends, Jared and Danny. That trip is what just really made this book become what it was. May I also add that it also includes the 2 clans: Ogres and the Corzos. In the Corzos clan, she falls in love with one called Lenzo at the same time that she hooked up with Jared at the lake and are now pretty much dating. The story line was amazing. I never have read a book like that, and that says a lot since there are over thousands of teenage books.
The only thing i disagreed with is the fact is that Liz is very bad. She kind of dragged both guys along like slaves. She knew they had feelings for her, yet she played and kind of toyed with'em. she would kiss one guy, and then 30 minutes later, there she is with the other guy making out with them. she would say that she loves both of them, but if she did, then she wouldn't do what she did. She would say that she loved one, that she really loved them, and then she says that same exact thing to the other. In a way, I kind of felt bad for the guys. They're love sick for her, yet she doesn't seem to care. Because she can't choose....really. There is really one word that came up for her, she really kind of defines it. But other then that, I loved it. I would totally read the next book. Mrs. Elena Carpenter, if you read this, I LOVED IT!! Though you did know that i don't like love triangles for the fact that it is so hard to pick which guy i like, i knew exactly what guy i wanted when he came into the picture or story whatever you wanna call it.
By the way (BTW), what is up with the whole Jared thing licking the inside of her ear?? That, in my opinion, is soooooo not sanitary! I don't know why, but if i had free time in class, and i read that part it freaked me out. There would always be some guy standing right behind me so it freaked me out.
How exactly did you come up with the story line? I'm very interested in knowing that. I just loved the fact that it was so unique. i have just never ever ever read a book like this. I will not regret reading the next book! Thanks for giving me the book to read Elena Carpenter!!!!

This was a delightful read. For those who love the Twilight series and the Lorian legacies this would be the book for you. It had adventure, magic, love, (oh, a love triangle to be exact) and also some adorable little critters! I want Aurora to be real! There was a large cliffhanger at the end of this book so I cant wait to see what happens next!

Rating: 3.5 stars.
To start off, this was an interesting book. It took me a while to get invested because I'm currently in the middle of a few serieses so it was a drastic change in world and characters for me. There was this new world, a new society within this world and a whole new set of characters.
Trinity is a super unique and original. There are dystopian and fantasy boma that are very similar but I haven't read anything like this before.
The major problem I had was the main character, Liz. She drags two guys on and on justifying that she "loves" them both. She just met Lenzo and her and Jared recently became a thing so I didn't understand her "crisis".
Other than that, this was a good read.

Refreshing my memory, Besides the battles with the two Clans, cousins one good one evil.
Elizabeth's strong feelings for Lenzo the leader for the Corzo Clan, Also finds herself in difficult
situations and faced with battles to come as Ozar wants to take over the human race. I always
enjoy Lenzo's pets, the Wekluws & Bliz his hawk, they too have supernatural powers as do the Clans and do their part.
Horizon bk two has more, creatures, alters, D-zombies, the Hells Dags gang. And the pets gain more power, many battles arise as Jezeba the wicked witch whom has kraun & Nephilim blood, has great powers also wants to rule.

I found Trinity very unique The story is original and entertaining. Without giving too much away, two clan leaders wanting the same person, yet so differetnt from the lead character. I felt the emotional struggle each character experience. Enjoyed the book very much.
