Goldenboy Trey Christopher had it all, a wife, a football career, money, you name it he could have it but an addiction and reckless behavior cost him everything. After time in rehab and some deep soul searching, Trey wants to be the man who can not only face his demons but be proud of. Returning home to Hendersonville it is met with mixed reactions, after a rocky star, Trey’s first thing on his list to do though is get a house keeper when he meets or re-meets Baylee Westring. He doesn’t remember Baylee or the fact he almost took her virginity when they were in high school, but something about the quirky woman has his thoughts straying from boss to something more.

Baylee is wanting to get out of town, she is trying to earn enough money fast to make it happen. Even though she still flinches when she thinks of that night she almost slept with Trey, she cannot resist appreciating the handsome man he has become. As boss turns to friends turns to lovers, both Baylee and Trey are treading in deep waters when more is left unspoken than spoken threatening to tear them apart.
