She is open to attending different churches but finds them to be very unlike Catholic church, where her family used to attend when she was young. Will Emmy ever find a boy that will treat her with respect and steal her heart at the same time? Emmy is an endearing, well-mannered girl who is just outgoing enough to keep life interesting. She and her friends explore friendship, faith and romance, picking up life experience along the way.
