In the wake of the Civil War, Captain Vander, a former spy for the Union, is sent to the South to serve at a fort where mysterious circumstances have suddenly arisen. Attacks on both the town's residents and its livestock have the local commander pushed to his limits. It isn't long until Vander finds out the cause: several packs of zombie Sasquatch stalk the surrounding woods, and it's up to him to stop them from preying on the town's residents and ensure the plague they carry in their blood doesn’t spread any further.


As he goes about his quest, he's led to a group of gunfighter werewolves who call themselves the Family. These werewolves may prove to be mankind's only hope as they and Vander unite to stop the undead Sasquatch from sweeping across the land and destroying everything in their path.
