I picked this book up last year, and have been slowly working with the exercises. This is by far the best book I've read so far on this subject. Though there is a lot in here for clinicians and teachers (I'm neither) this book can be used by someone who wants to go it alone. The book has a coherent structure and the exercises are divide by sections to facilitate the sequential acquisition of skills - every section build off the previous, and the exercises are explained without the use of clinical or Zen terminology so the material is very accessible. This book is a must for anyone on the spiritual journey, the inward path.
Great book with a lot of exercises to help bring mindfulness into light and how to help clients be more mindful. Only 4 stars for some dated phrases that could do for some updating
