Graham is best known for his evangelistic missions or “Crusades.” He believed God knew no borders or nationalities. Throughout his career, Graham preached to millions around the world. He met and prayed with every U. S. president from Dwight Eisenhower to Barack Obama.
Graham authored 34 books, including his memoir, Just As I Am. In 1983, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Ronald Reagan. In 1996, Graham and his wife, Ruth, received the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest award Congress can bestow on a private citizen.
Graham married Wheaton College classmate Ruth Bell Graham in 1943. They had five children ( Ruth Graham, Gigi Graham Tchividjian, Anne Graham Lotz, Nelson, & Franklin Graham) and made their home in the mountains of North Carolina. They were married for 64 years before Ruth’s death in 2007. Graham died from natural causes on February 21, 2018, at his home in Montreat, North Carolina, at the age of 99.

This little book wasn’t quite what I expected. It’s more of an introduction to Christianity, which is done very well. But for me, it wasn’t anything new. For someone new to Christianity, or curious about it, it would be great.

My first book I read in Spanish! The book itself is a nice short introduction for nonbelievers to Christianity.

I thank God the Father..... God the son (Jesus) ..... God the Holy spirit...... I love this ( Holy Trinity) and Billy Graham has helped me to Understand the truth. In this book I can understand how Billy Graham helped to bring so many people to
to understand the truth. I am going to get some paper copies of this book to give to some people I have be praying for a long time. I pray for a young woman who is alcoholic and in a hospital for help (a mental unit) she has reached rock bottom. In her eye's she has nothing left to live for. She has lost her partner , had her baby taken from her, and she has tried to kill herself. I pray to God that this wonderful little book will help her to see the truth.

Si no eres cristiano, ni te esfuerces en empezarlo. En realidad, es una especie de guía de iluminación para almas cristianas que pasan por un período difícil. El autor tira de su fe y de reflexiones bíblicas para dar causa a todo lo que separa al ser humano de su anhelada paz interior. De este modo, se anima al lector a volver al centro, a lo que somos, a nuestra esencia, recuperando los lazos con Dios mediante la meditación (oración), y una óptica basada en reconocer y disfrutar de la sencillez, de las famosas "pequeñas cosas" de la vida.

I have read a handful of Billy Graham's books and enjoyed them all but found this one to be lacking something that I can't even quite put my finger on. I did not get from it what I was hoping to but will probably read it again in the future.

Nice little book to show you how to find personal peace in your life. I have always liked Billy Graham. And with his death recently I am grabbing as much as I can read at a time of his books. Just a small read. Should have had it read way before this, but time, other books, among other things, kept me from reading it always when I wanted. But I really liked it. I would recommend for everyone. I gave it 4, instead of 5 stars because I just wasn’t comfortable with the different translations, in place of KJV, being used. In one scripture, meaning was completely changed to be way off true meaning. That always bothers me. But besides that, very good teaching to show personal peace in Jesus Christ. And Him alone.

I quite enjoyed it, but it's really only written for new Christians, and doesn't really fit my situation as I've been a Christian for decades. However, there were some useful reminders and stories which made me think differently about something.
For example a little section on what Barabbas must have felt like to get off scot free when Jesus 'took his place'. I've never thought about that before. So Barabbas was effectively the first one saved by Jesus - the first who knew what that felt like. Or did he just walk away and not look back?
Also the ticker tape parades in America after the end of WW2. He likes the feeling of returning from war, into peace as being like becoming a Christian - from a world of war into a world of peace. Interesting.

God can and God will. God does the conversion
Conversion is like Saul on his way to Damascus to kill more Christians, God stopped him on his path and turned him into the most influential apostle for the Christian church. No one will be attracted to Jesus unless God draws the person to Jesus (John 6:44). The desire for God and for Christ does not well up in a person. It is put there by God.

Tengo 3 años de asistir a una Iglesia Cristiana. En este tiempo he tratado de caminar de acuerdo a la voluntad de Dios y aprender de Él cómo actuar y según sus preceptos. Me falta muchísimo y me cuesta más crecer en la Fe, pero haré mi mejor esfuerzo cada día hasta que Dios esté feliz con mi transformación....
No hay críticas negativas. El libro me permitió aprender más de Dios y lo que Él quiere de sus hijos.

A very good read
I would recommend this book to people, those beginning their search for inner peace that is God and those who've strayed off the path. In all things, in your conversation with God, please be true to yourself and to Him, He can handle your truth because He already knows it, He can alone can help be who and what you truly desire to be. True Peace, Freedom and Love is in Christ Jesus.

A message of salvation
This is what I perceive as a typical Billy Graham message of salvation. He relies heavily upon references to the Bible to make his points. I would recommend it more highly if he had provided more examples like the ant hill. That is the way Jesus made his points understood!

An Amazing Read
I finished reading The Key to Personal Peace and enjoyed it very much. This book is amazing and truly does show you the key to personal peace. It is a short but amazing read, and I highly recommend this book to everyone. This is a book which I will definitely read again and again.

Excellent and soul piercing, simple examples to drive home the message.

Es un librito más parecido a un tratado pues explica lo básico de quien es Dios y Jesucristo. Hubo una otra que otra cosa que sirvió para edificación. Si buscas más detalle sobre que es la paz pues no lo recomiendo.

Muy sencillo
Puedo definir el libro como sencillo, le falta más profundidad. A pesar que leí las críticas, quise comprobar, la verdad, algunas aciertan con el contenido. No lo puedo calificar como excelente, porque estaría mintiendo.

Outstanding book by Billy Graham. He points out God's love and that we can have peace in this life as we transition to the next. Only in Jesus Christ whose invitation is open to all. So ironic that the greatest gift ever is free to all but only very few will accept it.

A gorgeous little book from a truly faith-filled man. I enjoyed reading it very much, as it reminded me of my journey to find The Lord. I will be reading more by Billy, for sure!
