After working as a professional marketer specialising in advertising and promotions in the fashion, entertainment and retail industries for almost 10 years, Zainab Jagot Ahmed left work to have her first child.

Following the birth of her daughter, Zainab was inspired to cook the most wholesome, tastiest baby food for her, and being from Indian origin wanted to cook Indian baby food. However, unable to find any Indian baby and toddler food cookery books, decided to write her own book.

After a year spent researching and writing, Zainab has written the very first Indian baby and toddler food cookery book focussing on traditional Indian cuisine adapted for babies, with an emphasis on SuperFoods and SuperSpices.
