The following novel has been approved for restricted audiences only; it contains underage sex, drugs, and a very foul mouthed evil little princess.
Meet Allie, a strong-willed, spoiled, feisty rich kid trying to find her way. Being the daughter of not one but two public figures leaves her under constant scrutiny and meddling paparazzi. Allie doesn’t need help finding trouble - it finds her. The intrusive cameras are always in the right place at the right time, landing Allie on the front page of gossip magazines and tabloid internet sites. And pissed off parents.
Being left at home with her nanny most of her life, Allie becomes quite introverted, keeping a handful of friends at arm’s length. She’s not like the other kids born into the life of fame and hates girl drama. After a tragedy takes her lifelong nanny, Allie rebels by running off every other hired hand post Maria. Allie doesn’t need anyone. She needs to get out of the spotlight and out of the paparazzi capital of Los Angeles.
Can a forbidden love change her direction? Can Allie leave the life of fame, or will she get caught right in eye of the storm?
I am a story teller, a life coach, and sometimes a little crazy. I’m at an amazing time in my life where doors are opening, adventures are happening, and new friends are being made. Life is fun and I want to share that joy with the world. I’m Jettie and I am unapolgetically me. "I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I'm out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." Marilyn Monroe
There are books that just scream adorable and this is definitely one of them! Jettis is one of my favorite authors and it's just easy for me to love this book too. It's one of those light and fun reads for a Sunday afternoon. The characters are great, there were times you want to strangle Allie but Trevas just knew how to handle her and you knew all would be well. Looking forward to reading the next book.
So I am really confused about the rating... My reasons well the writing was confusing between the misspelled names, the misspelling of words like where and were. The flipping between each character just totally caught me off guard. I really enjoyed the story of the spoiled rich girl and her bodyguard. I didn't like the whiny little girl who needed to get her way with everyone.
I really think this story and characters had so much potential but with the confusing sentences and the misspelling of character's names it just through me. I hope to have her re-edit the story and fix everything or just deal with the low ratings..
Allie, Allie, Allie...you evil little princess! More like an evil genius! She doesn't like bullshit, she takes whatever she wants, she speaks her mind, she's vulnerable and tough at the same time, and she's a typical teen. She's pretty kick ass. And Trevas, don't even get me started on Trevas. Hot and sweet and an all around good guy, but steamy when he needs to be. I think we all need a Trevas ;)
This book was cute with just enough drama to keep you on your toes. The side characters were great as well, and you loved getting more information on them too.
An overall light read with some hot sexual tension, lust, and passion. Awesome!!! :)
I didn't know what to expect when I started this book, but was pleasantly suprised. I enjoyed the storyline and the character interaction. The hero, Trevas was a saint....patient and very sexy. On the other hand, Alley was a petulant, manipulative & immature "princess". Not that Alley is unlikeable, when you realise how she'd been raised within a showbiz family. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series and hope that the author continues to keep us updated with Alley & Trevas' relationship.
loved it even though Ally would get me mad but im anxious to see if they can stay together when she films her nxt movie even though I know she will mess up some how
5 stars|Amazon|Goodreads Meg's Review: I am still reeling from this book. Not often do I read a book that leave me stuck picking up the pieces. Lately there have been a few as you have seen, but this one is up there on the list. This book isn't just you learning about to lovers and their fight to be together, this book transforms you into their world.
You go on an adventure with them and not only learn about them, but about 2 other couples in the book that need to find their way. I know that some people didn't enjoy reading about the other characters but I did. I felt you really got to know everyone better. I felt like I was watching a movie learning about all the different characters and what part they were going to play in this epic story. I felt like you started with one couple and after their struggles you travelled with them and slowly began to move onto the next and the next couple. It was wonderfully done and I just don't have words.
Lets begin with the book itself. Wonderfully written and beautiful transitions into the different parts of the book. I never felt like we dropped one character to learn about another. You were constantly entwined with them. absolutely seamless in my opinion. I also thought the characters were well-developed. With the story being as long as it was I think any more back stories on them would have been too much. I could have done for a little more maturity from Alley, but really you can't help but love her, and considering her age it wouldn't have been appropriate with her. The characters had real personalities, even the famous ones. You could really relate to them on a personal level and I enjoyed that.
The story <3 Oh the story. Love and heart-break over and over. You travel with these characters through it all. I feel like if I start talking about any of them I am going to spoil it for you! I am so good at spoil free review but gosh you really can tempt a girl can't ya Jettie *pulls hair* Trevas and Alley. Boy do they have their work cut out for them. She is a spunky, smartass, beautiful girl. Trevas can't get involved, it's not an option. But really, with how quickly you get to know them you will see what I mean when I say it's not an option.
With how little the synopsis tells you I just can't show who the other couples you read about are. I feel as if it would ruin it. It is worth it FOR SURE to read this book!!!!! It's a great long read that you can easily break up and pace yourself. But don't worry, it does not lack in the steamy department <3 Amy's Review: 5 stars
Jettie, Jettie, Jettie can't you see ~ sometimes your words just hypnotize me. That's what I wanted to sing after I finished this book!
It is taking all the power within me to write this review and not jump straight into Stardust (book #2 in the Star Sequence Trilogy). I seriously loved this book and the story within its pages!!!
The synopsis of this book really leaves a potential reader wondering what exactly this story is about, so I don't want to reveal too many specifics about the story line. This story is way too exciting to spoil!!
Trevas Evans is a bodyguard who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He is a great guy, with some difficult clients andunfortunately he is about to get sucker punched again. Alley will be the hardest client he's ever had to work with and considering her pedigree ... she has been groomed to live the life of the rich and famous!
I'm a fan of a good love story and this book definitely delivered. Without revealing too much, you will meet tons of characters who's lives entwine. I am so excited to read the second and third book in this series. I am dying to see where the story develops. The writing was amazing and the characters were developed beautifully. The book was nice and long, which I like!
Thank you Jettie for another awesome Five star story!!!
Synopsis: Book 1 - Star Sequence. Trevas Evans never dreamed he would get sucked into this entire Hollywood regime. He was an escort slash bodyguard for the rich and famous. He wasn't interested in the lifestyle that he was about to get thrown into. He was there, right in the middle of it, whether he wanted it or not, now if he could just figure out how to walk away without anyone getting hurt. Can he leave the forbidden love behind and walk away? Yes he can, he has no choice. Love, laughs, and lots of romance. Adult language. Adult content
Love me some Jettie Woodruff! I am on book 3 in this series right now. Jettie Woodruff definitely has a way to making things that should be disturbing and unwanted, so damn tempting! That forbidden fruit never looked so damn juicy. She should definitely take a second job as an effin voodoo temptress because she has put a spell on me and I am more than willingly joined the dark side. Where will you take me next? Who cares...I am down for the ride no matter what. Allie is undeniably a hard character to fall in love with at first, but when you add Trevas and their deliciously forbidden attraction, you can't help but fall in love/hate with her. Love/hate is my favorite kind of emotion.
"Come here," he said quietly but didn't know why. It wasn't what he was thinking at all. Why did he keep doing every irrational thing with this girl? Trevas lifted the covers, and she eagerly crawled into his arms. He looked at her, beneath his body. He loved her being there. Oh God, this was bad. "What the hell am I supposed to do with you?" Allie lifted her body, and he took her mouth.
I can't wait to see what happens with their crazy emotional ride. Allie is a wild child, not easily tamed, but when she is with Trevas, she actually listens or at least tries to that is. But what happens when she isn't with him? Will their relationship survive the tests that are sure to be thrown at the beautiful, young, and wild Allie when she ventures off to do a movie without Trevas there? Well, I am dying to see so stay tuned.

Trevas works pretty much as security for the famous. When he just gets home from a job expecting to rest he gets thrown into a job that he not only doesn't want but is far more than he expected.
Allie is a 17 year old spoiled "rich bitch" according to everyone and always gets her way. She also happens to be Trevas assignment for the next 6 weeks.
What do you think will happen? Most people have not been able to handle Allie who still acts like a child most times. Will Trevas be able to handle his assignment and for 6 weeks? He thinks so and vows to make it happen some how and refuses to put up with Allies behavior. After all he's got her father to answer to who happens to be a very big director.
As fate would have it there's a strong attraction between Trevas and Allie. But Allie is just a minor and Trevas is there to do a job and does not intend on giving in and risking going to prison over Allie. There may be a growing love between them but will it ever amount to anything? What do you think will happen?
Overall great story. I completely fell in love with the characters and would highly recommend this book to anyone who is ok with language and sexual content.
I loved underestimated and decided to read this book. I thought the story was good but it had so many errors, sometimes the names were even switched and I had to reread to figure out what was going on. I didn't really like the fact that she was only 17 when this all started and was so immature. Most older guys wouldn't put up with an "evil princess" IMO. If she had acted older I could see them being together. Why be with someone that you literally always have to worry about doing something stupid. Then half way through the book it changes over to her mothers pov and she didn't really act her age either. I have mixed feelings about this book. Maybe the 2nd book in this series will be better.
I love this book although there were times I wanted to throw down my Kindle and scream at Allie to stop acting like a spoilt princess throwing tantrums when she didn't get her way she is 17 after all. Born into the movie world in LA with famous parents she spent a lot of her time growing up feeling really lonely so when her dad hires 24 year old bodyguard Trevas to take care of her he's the first person to ever really put her in her place and as the spend time together their feelings for each other develop although Trevas does try to hold back on his feelings this is just a job after all isn't it??. What develops is a love that hopefully nothing can come between. Hope fully Allie and Trevas will get another book and it will be a HEA.
Parents in the limelight, movies, and child who is as spoilt and wilful.
She is not used to be told what to do. But because her parents have noticed she is getting a lot of tabloid interest, to protect her privacy they hire someone to be with her. Trouble is, this leads to a lot of problems for their loving daughter as she is so unbearably spoilt.
It made for interesting reading, nice book to sit outside with for great entertainment.
I'd like to thank Jettie Woodruff for allowing me to read this book and present her with a review of my thoughts.
The book was good but I think it was too long. The storyline for Alley and Trevas was good but I think it should have ended with them. Instead it went on with Alley's mom Peyton and Trevas mom, Kay. Tha sotry coulod have been a book two. It dragged a little for me when the second story took over and It took awhile for me to finish.
The writing of this book needs a lot of work to even be good. Forced myself to read all of it because I did like the story line. But that is about all. The editing was bad and wording was horrendous. Choppy and abrupt sentences got a bit confusing until it was reread to understand it. Would not recommend and will not read the others in this series.
i was really suurprised with this book. i had picke it up as a free read and wow am i ever glad. i was able to feel and even almost relate to the characters in the book. im hoping that theres more to travas and alleys story to come. defently worth readign the rest of the sereis
Loved this book!!! I have to say trevas is awesome. Allie is such a sassy little thing! The character and story development was awesome. Couldn't put the book down.
