Get ready for Book Two of the Fox Haven series, "Finding His Fox." This m/m shifter romance features a surly but sweet fox shifter and his brave human mate.
I liked this better than the first book. However, I found Nate to be very frustrating. He ignored Cal when he had been hurt by the Wendigo. Then to go wandering alone without making sure he had his protective charm was stupid. I loved the story up to that point, but took off a star for it becoming to cliche.
Book 2 gave me all kinds of feels. Eventhough Nate and Cal had met at first under completely dire circumstances, their reunion years later was clearly meant to be. This romance made me grin and chuckle a lot due to Nate boldness towards Cal and their easy camaraderie prior to becoming lovers then mates. They overcame the evil and the doubts and ended up with a very satisfying ever after. Very Nice!

This was an interesting and entertaining story to read. Nate & Cal's shared childhood experience was very traumatic and has now come back to haunt them but then so have fated love. I enjoyed reading this very much.
This is book 2 of the Fox Haven series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. Though you will definitely get more out of it if you read book 1 first. This is the story of Cal Yates and Nate Chambers. Cal is a fox shifter and has lived in Fox Haven his entire life. A life that was made possible by the actions of Nate years earlier. Actions that Nate has chosen to forget. Nate has returned for his best friend Ian's wedding. Wanting to support his friend, he also wants nothing to do with Fox Haven. When he meets the other best man Cal, Nate can't shake the feeling that they have met before. It is at this second meeting that Cal realizes that Nate his his mate. He also realizes that he has some pretty large protective walls to scale before he will get to the real Nate. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

When Cal and Nate were just young teenagers, they had a horrific experience with a wendigo. Cal and his best friend were exploring the forest whan they ran across the monster. His friend was killed and Cal was about to be killed when Nate came by and shot the monster with his rifle. Cal came to his rescue and Nate was able to stab the monster in the eye. Nate was thrown into the river but was unable to swim. Cal saved him. The two never saw each other again until their friends were getting married. Nate had left the small town after his fathers died, one by suicide. Cal stayed and became a beta for his pack.
When Cal sees Nate again, he knows they are fated mates. However since Nate is human he has to take things slow. With all the traumatizing things that Nate has been through in their small town, will he ever want to return? Also there are signs that the monster has return to town again too.

'I wasn’t arrogant enough to believe I could convince Nate to fall in love with Fox Haven. With me. The least I could do was try my best. Make sure we created enough wonderful memories to replace Nate’s bad ones and hoped that would be enough.'
I really enjoyed this book. The story was exciting- and terrifying- from the start seeing the past encounter with a monster that forever effected the characters' lives. I like how they reunite later as adults and the relationship that develops between them. But what will happen when the monster from the past comes full circle? A captivating read. I also loved Nate's famous cat, Max! And how Cal acknowledges him as family for Nate, not merely a cat. 4 stars
Stronger together! Cal, survived a trauma when his childhood friend is murdered by a monster. He is saved by human, Nate. Cal chooses to live an isolated life, safe. Many years later as an adult, Nate returns home for a friend's wedding. He suffers PTSD from a trauma when he was younger that he doesn't remember. Nate feels a familiarity with Cal. As they get to know each other, they are confronted with their deepest fear. Can they stand strong, meet and conquer their fear? Will they find their balance? Can they finally relax in peace? Great story. Eases your heart. Wonderful characters. Well done, great cover art! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked Cal in Hots For Mr Fox and I knew his mate would be Ian's best friend, Nate. Cal comes out of his shell when faced with Nate, his childhood saviour, his mate. Both have trauma from their childhoods but finding love helped them lower their walls. Together, they are a sweet couple, and I loved Max. This book surprised me because it isn't riddled with all the usual grammar and spelling mistakes that accompany Fel's work. It isn't error free and there are quite a few occasions where I was confused by conflicting details but, on the whole, it was much easier to read. It was nice seeing Ian and Owen again, and I'm looking forward to Cliff's book next.
While kids, Cal just lost his best friend and human Nate saved him. Years later Nate returns to the area and they reconnect, pulling Cal out of his closed off persona. The mate is strong and the two are now a team and destined to confront the same enemy again. Characters are wonderful, the feels are deep and the chemistry is strong. The storyline flows well with trauma, acceptance, love and a unified front. Loved their connection and ending.

Fox shifter Cal Yates and human Nate Chambers had met each other in Fox Haven many years ago. A horrible monster had killed Cal’s childhood friend and Nate was able to save Cal from the monster. He left town to forget what happened. Nate has returned again at the invitation of his best friend. Both Cal and Nate have been asked to be the best men at their friends’ wedding. This time, Cal recognizes that Nate is his fated mate. But has Nate forgotten their past? And when the evil creature comes back, will Cal and Nate join together to fight this enemy?
The writing combo Fel Fern and Kara Kitt did a good job, for me, in pulling me into the story from the gruesome start ' till the sweet end. Nate and Cal both have seen horrible things in their youth that binds them together even if they to to resist. Slowly they both, open up, from attraction, to love. This is book two in the Fox Haven series, I did not read book one, but I dis not feel I missed crucial information and would say it can be read as a stand alone.

cal and nate were the cutest couple ive read this month. I am blown away by how connected these two are even with the distance put between them by way of traumatic events that brought them together in the first place.
the chemistry between our leading men is soooooooo hot. you could really feel how much they wanted each other through the pages.

Nate returns for a wedding and ends up with a mate. Unfortunately, Cal has to break down a few well built barriers before getting to the core of who Nate is.
Fox Haven will become a new favorite on my list. Cal and Nate are wonderful and work together nicely.

Coming home is difficult for Nate until he runs into Cal. When the two set eyes on each other sparks fly. We go along as the two find their way to each other as they defeat some ghosts of their past to bring about their happy ending. Great book and I'm sure you will enjoy it!.

This is the second book in the Fox Haven series and I enjoyed it even more than the first one. I loved Nate coming back and Cal recognizing his as his fated mate. I love this town with all their characters and the story. Can't wait to see what comes next.
Soo good. Enjoyable and fun. I loved this story. This series is entertaining and a perfect read. The characters are interesting and there adventure was entertaining. Can’t wait for the next one.
Nate and his cat Max are back in Fox Haven for Ian’s engagement party. Fox Haven does not hold good memories for him. Cal a fox shifter is also at the party. Cal is pretty much a loner since his childhood friend was killed by a supernatural monster. The monster is back looking for revenge.
I definitely was caught off guard with book twos plot line! It was amazing and full if adventure, despair, love, mental growth of the characters and the story line was oh so thrilling.
