This is a beautiful story about metamorphosis and can be applied to so much more than the transformation of a butterfly. The illustrations are gorgeous. The prose—meaningful for children and adults. This is the kind of book you will cherish. The perfect gift. Open it on a random page, for those days when you need a little inspiration.

My mom's boyfriend gave me this book when I was just a teenager and have always loved this book. This is one of the few books from my childhood that I have held on to.

A book about a butterfly's metamorphosis from the butterfly's point of view. I really enjoyed the book as a child and remember it still. I wish I hadn't lost my copy of it.
