As a significant part of my spiritual growth practice I regularly read new books in this category, as from experience there is always something of value to discover. Of the many books I read in a given year there are some that clearly stand out in terms of value, and "The Council of Light" is one such title. This book is literally filled with fascinating information shared by the Council (a group of light beings), including detailed descriptions of 11 "Rays of Light" that can be called upon for assistance in manifesting desired changes and improvements in one's life. The book also includes detailed discussions with the Council about a variety of important topics (e.g., money/prosperity, health, happiness & making joy). Moreover, the author includes numerous meditations/exercises that make it a very practical spiritual growth tool. While "The Council of Light" primarily appeals to individuals who have been on a spiritual path for a long time, the reality is even newcomers to the path would greatly benefit from reading it, providing they had the willingness to open their hearts and minds to its mystical messages. Because of all of this, I highly recommend this book as a spiritual growth resource.

"The idea that it would be helpful to another if you are poor, sick , tired, confused, unfocused, or weak does not make sense on a conscious level. But this is how people approach someone who is poor. They feel bad if someone is poor, suffering, dying, or hurt. There is the belief that if they are living such a wonderful life and if they do not feel sorry for this person somehow they are being old, aloof, not caring, and not being a humanitarian.

Fantastic book for an enlightening understanding of yourself and the planet. I often was covered in goosebumps while reading and could definitely feel my vibration being raised as I did some of the practical work suggested in the book. I noticed great shifts in my life happening after activating certain rays. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in soul vibrations, mindfulness and self-awareness.

It is my experience and expression to learn that this book is for the advance spiritual beings. It is very well written and extremely easy to understand with a flow of knowledge and words. I was guided to this book while visiting a spiritual store in Tucson AZ, called Spirits Child. With deep and extensive meditations, as I learned who my guides/guardian angels are, the more I learned my soul's deepest desires. Which are what this book focuses on, divine transmissions for manifesting the deepest desires of the soul. A calling for many higher beings to step in and teach you how to manifest and use the many different energies available, which a lot of people choose to ignore or choose to disbelieve. God and this universe is much bigger and going within the soul is purely the way to access that divine knowledge. Become Joy!

I will be re-reading the different sections of this book many times forward.
