I was blown away!!!
Amazing storytelling, great detail, and precision of capturing a reader's attention!
After reading the prologue I was intrigued but after reading a few chapters I was hooked and I knew I was in deep.. No turning back.. No putting my kindle down either!!!! I didn't want to miss a second!!
There was one scene in particular that really grabbed my attention the more of it I read the more the story started to come together and I got a feel for it. It was an intriguing but mysterious scene.. You could feel that something was about to happen and I was on the edge of my seat.. I wanted to jump in the book and save these characters. The characters are really awesome and I became attached to them I wanted to protect them!
I love this story so much!!! Who doesn't love a good vampire story???? And let me just say that this story is unlike any of the other vampire books our there.
It's a must read!!!!

I could NOT put this book down! After four hours and finding myself on the last page, I was blown away! After Rumor and Joella go out for a girls night, their lives change for ever. Rumor finds out all the deep, dark secrets of the world but is it something she can handle, can she save Joella?!? Madison Daniel did an AAHHMAAZZING job. Each character was very well developed and gave such raw emotion that even I felt! So, when is the second book coming out Madison because I really hope to encounter Rumor again with all her badassness! If only I could give this more than five stars!!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but as soon as I opened it, it had me. I dreamed about it day and night. I couldn't put it down despite my busy life and my own books. This book has everything you need in a paranormal book. With a wide array of creatures, blood and gore (sometimes so gross you have to look away) and sizzling romance, you can't help but love it. This is the first book I've read from this author, and I'm sure it's not my last.

I have read ALL of author Madison Daniel's books, novellas, and even Facebook status' because he is just that amazing as an author!!! I love his writing style, his characters, and his attention to detail! I love the fact that he has a playlist for his stories - music and books should always go hand in hand!
This is a new series that Madison has been cooking up for quite some time now (think childhood) and it was well worth the wait!! He takes us to a whole new world and some of us aren't going to make it....#BleedLikeMe #ResistTheInstinct.
Madison introduces us to Rumor and her best friend Joella - the two of them do everything together and are the truest friends that you could ask for! Rumor reluctantly agrees to go with Joella to a party that only the "elite" are invited to find....but will they survive? Will they ever be the same?! These two instantly become a part of your circle and you want to make sure that they are ok....it is like an instant friendship that includes you!
This book kept me up reading into the late hours of the night and I started again in the early morning hours. There was no stopping point, no place to take a minute to pause for sleep (It's overrated anyway). I would tell myself one more page and then hours later I would still be reading. This story is addicting, it is chilling and it is so realistic that you have to stop and wonder if perhaps the author has some inside knowledge that we don't know about....
The plot is unique, quick moving, smooth and leaves the reader no choice but to frantically turn the pages of their kindles. Several finger cramps later, you still can't stop reading. The emotions that you feel while reading this book can't adequately be put into words, but you will feel every emotion deep down into your soul. You will laugh, cry, yell, scream and protest, but you will feel and it will feel like it is happening in real life.
If you love vampires, friendships, love and sacrifice then this is a can't miss story for you! You will not find another book like it and you will immediately want to start reading this one again as soon as you have finished it. There is so much going on and in the first read you will want to see what happens, the second read you will take a little more time and by the third read you will be hounding the author for the next book in the series!

Holy F**k! What a book! I'm ashamed to say I've only read two of Madison Daniel's books.. because he is a master storyteller. He weaves a narrative, so lush, so remarkable, that you just can't believe it isn't real. He blends real world with mythology in this book, and uses music to meld the two together. It's an outstanding novel with so many beautifully orchestrated details that you don't even care that one of the main characters remains nameless through the whole book....
Rumor is a fantastic MC. I often find it hard to read a female MC written by a male, but Madison nailed it. She's the right mix of vulnerable, tough, creative, sexy and smart. She has a giant heart but she guards it pretty firmly. Joella is her best friend, her sister, the one who pulls Rumor to the wild side and shakes up her life. They are a fantastic pair. You can just feel how real they are. You either have a friend like Joelle, or you are her! ;)
Finishing this book, and organizing my thoughts has been such a challenge. I freaking loved it. I LOVED it. It was beautiful. It was lush, it was gorgeous, it was hedonistic at times. It blended it's unique vampire lore, with other tales, and presented it to us as something so unique and different that you just keep reading. You never want this world to fade because it makes our daily world a bit grayer. Fantastic book, and the only downside to an ARC, you have an even longer wait for the next one.
Madison, you rock. thoroughly and completely. This book was perfection, and I am under it's spell. Amazing!!!

First of all, I really, really hope there is a book 2 in the works!
Madison Daniel was ment to be a writer. He has been brewing this story up since he was a kid and boy, you would never know that it came from a kid. Okay, some of it came as an adult, but the main part came when he was a kid. He didn't skip a beat anywhere and the pase was fantastic. Amazing work as uaual! I was kept in suspense the whole time. Filled with action, mystery, Vampires and romance, he managed to show how very important a best friend is and mix everything else in along side of it.
Life was normal, as normal as life could be at a young adult age. Being with your best friend and making memories was all you need. But one night you best friend takes you to a strange club and your life is turned upside down and your best friend is changed for ever. Your memories will never be the same again.
This story tells how all this happened and the out come. It will have you at the edge of your seat and wanting more. Follow the mystery in it and see if you are right, I wasn't. This story is for Vampire lovers everwhere! I really do hope there is a book 2 in the works!!

Bleed Like Me is the first book in a new series by one of my favorites, Madison Daniel. He has put together an amazing cast of characters that come together and mesh brilliantly. You love some and despise others, but always cheering for Rumor Cross as she takes on the monsters of the night to try and save her best friend, Joella Rush. I love a good vampire story, but Madison Daniel has gone above and beyond to create a whole new world while paying tribute to some of my favorite supernatural movies in his own unique way! It is easy to become lost in this world and never want to put the book down!! You will be intrigued, scared, angry and shocked, but absolutely love every minute of it!! I just cannot say enough about how much I LOVE this story!! I will anxiously await what will be coming next!!

From the brilliant mind of Madison Daniels comes a fantastic book for all the fans of Vampires, Demons,Wolves and scary things that ho bump in the night. Madison Daniels paid homage to some of the well loved cult Vampire movies out there while putting his own unique spin into Bleed Like Me.
To me it was like Near Dark, The Vampire Lestat, Queen Of The Damned, Lost Boys and Twilight all rolled into one captivating delicious tale. Bleed Like Me will keep you on the edge of your seat with it's non stop action and intrigue, and it has a fabulous twist at the end. The characters are well written and dimensional and you will passionately love some and despise others all the while being unable to put this book down.
I look forward to reading more about the Nightingales in book two.

Bleed like me is the first book in a new and incredibly exciting series. I was into it heart and soul from beginning to end. This book is not your typical vampire story however it reminds me of so many that have come before it. Not in an unoriginal way at all but in a way that pays a sort of tribute to them. I don't know if that makes any since to anyone but me but it's six am and I haven't been to sleep yet because I just couldn't put the book down, I just had to keep reading. the book hangover that I'll have today was well worth it. the backdrop was awesome, the characters amazing and the story is one that will stick to me while I impatiently await the next instalment.

I was hooked from the first page! Bleed Like Me is imaginative and very well written. Madison has written a unique Vampire story with characters that you will both love and hate. I had to fight the urge to put this book down(to perform my daily routine) because I wanted to prolong the ending as long as possible but I was so engulfed in the storyline that I found it impossible to put down after all. This book is filled with raw emotion and intensity that it’ll have you on the edge of your seat for the entire journey. It's one hell of a ride! Bleed Like Me is a must have and must read. I very highly recommend purchasing and reading it immediately.

This was an AMAZING read! Creatures of the night.. temptation.. chaos.. heartbreak.. friendship like family.. love.. a hint of spice 🌶️ the main character was so
relatable. I cannot WAIT for the second book to come out. The absolute cliffhanger at the end leaves you with so many questions on what will be next for the characters. Reading this book made me not only feel like I was in the story but I grew so attached to the characters. I will be recommending this book to everyone I know especially for spooky season!

Wow! Amazing vampire story. I'd stopped reading vampire stories awhile ago, I got burnt out. This story though is so good! Not what I expected from Madison Daniel. I couldn't put it down! It has a bit of a different take on the vampire story. I love some of the characters and despise others. I highly recommend this!

Well, the author does ask us: "Can you survive an evening with the NIGHTINGALES?" And I must say No, but in a good way (Shivers)....
WOW...I did not think it was ever possible to sink my teeth into a new series by this particular author, because he has a way of topping his stories each time he writes a new one, but it happened......
I sunk my teeth into this story and twelve hours later, I was in awe and decided that this author has the next bestselling book yet!! I am left completely craving more!! The characters are phenomenal and extremely hard to forget. They are completely embedded in my mind for all eternity. They were so life like, I felt as if I was transported from the real world into the pages of this incredible and magical world. The story-line had me smiling, crying, and cringing at the turn of every page. I was completely enchanted by the words that seem to float off the pages as I read and I literally couldn't put this book down. I highly recommend this read!!
Due to some of the graphic scenes, this book is not for the faint of heart nor anyone under the age of 18. READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

This book had me glued to the pages from the very first page. Full of many unexpected twists and turns.Action and adventure on every page. Characters are well written and very likable. I highly recommend this book!! Can't wait for the next book in this amazing series!
