The Young Ancients #8

A Simple Darkness

Rate this book
Tiera Baker isn't fitting in well to her new environment at school. Lairdgren is a place of new rules and unpleasant people, all judging her, as if they have a right to do that?

Luckily she has a friend, Regina, and a new chance to try and set things right. It won't be easy and if she can't learn to control the red hot rage inside of her, the whole thing will simply not end well.

On the eve of war no one has a lot of time for a slightly troubled schoolgirl, but life has to go on, like it or not.

Even as she gains more enemies than she ever thought possible.

P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

I loved Tiera!

Tor's sister but hardly meek and definitely not tolerant of people screwing with her. The story moves along and gets much darker. Tiera is so misunderstood, people who mistake her for her brother do not fare well and she does not hold back on any task given to her. She does everything recommended and adapts to the rules as they are explained to her. They however still screw with her. Richard may have pushed her to far though, that price will be high. Tor is back and he makes some serious mistakes with Tiera. I am waiting to see who will respect and support Tiera with what she has had to endured...

Huge cliffhanger at the end but looks like we will get book nine in March!

Mr. Powers book output is without rival in my opinion....

Man this book let me raging, in fact a lot of them from this series do, but this one was just...... hufff. A good read, the author seriously isn't cuddlyn the characters at all, no he is throwing them to the lions to fend for themselves, and as mad as what happens guets me, I have to admit that its been well done. I am loving this series, even when I don't like what happens to some characters I can admit on how good it truly is. I am heading forward to see more of this characters and see where this series leads up.

Not as good as other books in this series

Not as good as other books in this series, there are character inconsistencies in addition to his usual punctuation and grammar errors. Ends with a forced melodramatic cliffhanger.

Good Read.

The story continues from the previous book. With Tor in exile, the story focuses on his sister Tiera Baker at school.
