With the help of his friend, Marco, Ethan has Amber believing in herself again despite her scars and ex-fiancé. Amber and Ethan fall for each other in spite of themselves. After a bit of rocky times, they admit their feelings for each other and Marco has exited the picture.

With the growing awareness towards bullying, Bad in Bed struck a chord with me. Amber was injured previously in a very bad motorcycle accident which left her back and arms riddled with scars. It was horrifying to listen to the cruel, callous, cold and unfeeling words spoken by some very superficial people in this story. The saddest part is that I know there are individuals out there in the real world that try to make themselves feel better by causing emotional pain to others. I commend Ms. Avalon for writing such a wonderful story about building one’s self-esteem after being torn down by bullies.

Ethan was a phenomenal character. He was extremely romantic, full of depth and was a very caring and overall sweet guy. He was patient and understanding with Amber and truly helped repair the damage to her confidence and self-esteem that was destroyed by ignorant brutes in the past. Even though he did not want to share her, he put his own feelings aside to initiate a ménage with his best friend Marco to help Amber see herself for the sexy and incredible woman she was.

Due to all the heartache and bullying Amber has experienced over the years, she was very quick to jump to the wrong conclusion. This resulted in a lot of assumptions and hurt feelings by both parties when in fact that wasn’t the intention at all. This story really showcases how communication is the key to any great relationship.

I was surprised to learn that Bad in Bed was Faye Avalon’s first erotic romance. This author has an incredible future in front of her in the erotic romance genre because this story had a believable plot, great depth and was sexy enough that I was sweating bullets despite the massive snow and ice storm raging outside my windows. I definitely recommend giving this one a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I really liked this novella. Ethan was so warm and genuine. I loved that he was the one to pursue the relationship and work hard to heal Ambers wounds…not the ones on the outside, but those deeply painful ones inside. Ethan breaks through only to have Amber freeze up and state that "all other men" would be repulsed by her. To prove her wrong, he enlists Marco, who had a passion and lust for life that I could feel through the pages. Marco, like Ethan, learned the real Amber and fell under her spell. But what I didn't get about this story was the complete lack of communication. The one-night deal turned into a month and as the reader we never found out how that happened. I loved the HEA and I am looking forward to the woman that can tame Marco…the Italian stallion! Enjoy!

This one surprised me. From the title and the cover I was expected your typical erotic romp, but it was so much more than that. Not your typical menage either. It was probably the tamest menage I've ever read, but that wasn't a bad thing. The menage was a side line, the real story was Amber and Ethan, and their growing relationship. This was much more emotional than I expected, and I was very pleasantly surprised by it. If you're looking for steamy menage, this is not your book. But if you like an emotional romance with hot sex and some menage thrown in, you won't be disappointed.

Amber had some self-esteem issues due to an accident and her ex. Ethan has wanted to date Amber for awhile so he catches her in the elevator and their worlds are turned upside down. These two have an explosive chemistry. Ethan decides to get Amber over her self-esteem issues and has his friend Marco join them. Things get interesting and Amber stands up for herself to Ethan and Marco. This was a good read and I liked watching these two work through all of their issues.
