Arrogant, brooding, domineering, possessive, dangerously handsome, and a playboy. These are all the characteristics on Rebecca Gellar’s Run-Like-Hell list for men, but she’s about to meet a man who’s the epitome of these and more…
After breaking off her engagement with Hollywood actor Miles Storm, Rebecca is ready for a change of scenery in her life and in her bed. So when the opportunity to work for StoneHaven Publishing, one of New York City’s most respectable publishing empires, presents itself, Rebecca doesn’t hesitate moving to the Big Apple.
Convinced she can show the owner of StoneHaven Publishing that she has the ‘right stuff,’ Rebecca agrees to a six-month trial as the personal assistant to the owner’s playboy son, Nicholas StoneHaven. This is her big chance. If she can just get through these six months without strangling Nicholas with his Armani tie, she'll be okay—easier said than done. Nicholas is the last person Rebecca thought she’d find herself pining for, especially when he hits every category on her list.

I freaking LOVED this book! I've been waiting for this release since I first found out about it. The plot really intrigued me and when I finally got my greedy little hands on it I'm not gonna lie I totally did a happy dance. Right from the beginning paragraph I was hooked and loved Rebecca right away. She totally reminded me of some of my friends and totally made me wish we could hang out! I love that even though this is a serial series and so it's a pretty quick read it didn't feel rushed at all and I still got to know the main character and nothing felt rushed. Rebecca's personality felt real and I really appreciate the amount of character building Vanessa put into such a short amount of pages. She's witty and funny and I LOL'd a few times from comments that were made.
Now let's get to Nicholas! Ohh I loved him! He has just enough of that Alpha male vibe to make me want more and I can't wait to see how he handles Rebecca. Their chemistry felt organic and not forced at all and I really enjoyed the fact that Rebecca is a strong female character and gives Nicholas as much crap as she does. The attraction between them is crazy and I really can't wait to see where this goes!

This is a story that literally starts and ends with bang (involving a fist and a knee). Rebecca is the type of character most people can identify with: fresh from a break-up with her ex-fiance, she decides to make a new start clear across the country in New York (much to her mother's dismay). While she doesn't seem to be self-conscious, Rebecca has some curves, but again, that doesn't really factor into the story overly much. During the flight to New York, Rebecca encounters Nicholas (heir to the StoneHaven publishing company, and bachelor extraordinaire) and the two share a private moment. During Rebecca's first night in New York, she's at a trendy club with her best friend Carol, who is meeting with a potential client when Nicholas shows up. An even steamier private moment occurs, but Rebecca comes to her senses and beats feet out the club and out of Nicholas' life...or did she?
This is a hilarious first part to this e-serial and one I would definitely recommend!
I totally loved this book. It got me begging for more at the first sentence.
Starts off with Rebecca breaking up the engagement with her fiance and leaving LA. She is an easily relatable character, everything about her is so normal and likable. She isn't looking for a rebound after her breakup and she's still processing the feelings of the betrayal. She goes for a new start in a different city, making it the perfect escape. On her way to NY she meets Nicholas who is the playboy heir to StoneHaven Publishing. He has a rocky relationship with his father because he is forced into a marriage. He is also arrogant, brooding, domineering, possessive, womanizer and extremely handsome.
Being brought by a fate they are trying to avoid the sparks they feel for each other. Rebecca have to work for him and Nicholas have to struggle with the new feelings he feels since the only thing he have ever done is meaningless sex.
Everyone who need a hot quickie I highly recommend you this one. You will back for more. And you can find that is the next books which I will definitely read.
Free download. This was a very short story but I really enjoyed this initial read, it introduces our characters, Rebecca and Nicholas as well as the supporting characters. It sets the mood and story, well written and captivating so far. Rebecca is moving to NY to start over, moving in with her college best friend and having a job interview lined up she was hoping to forget all about her cheating x, but on the plane to her new life she meets the very hot Nick, no other details are discussed and after sharing a hot kiss they go their separate ways. Unfortunately fate has other ideas. The sexual tension is obvious but a set of unfortunate circumstances threaten to ruin something that neither was expecting. I can't wait to see what happens next. It's going to be a hot, sexy, angst filled read. Would recommend.
that was great. There was no sex, so if you were wanting sex it probably isnt for you, BUT I am pretty sure that the next one will [is that a spoiler...? lol] I really like the MC Rebecca, she is definitely someone I would befriend!
It was simply too short of a book to make a real impression on me but I'm still looking forward to the next volume. Thankfully, it's out or else I would have been too angry about its abrupt ending.
Rebecca is New York bound after catching her fiance rolling in the sheets with his co-star, convinced she'll be single for the rest of her life. Getting a shot to interview with StoneHaven Publishing, it's just chance at the fresh start she needs. But when she falls in the lap of a handsome stranger while 40,000 feet in the air - she has no idea this moment is going to change her life.
------------------------------------
I am torn over my thoughts on this particular book. The story and plot were interesting and I liked the direction the author was taking it. The chemistry was good, the tension was spot on and I loved that the author didn't just jump right into the meat of the story. The potential of this story is really why I am able to give it three stars. I think there is a firm chance that the third book could pull this series up and place it at a higher rating overall, but there were just a few things that I couldn't let go of while reading it, even a few days later these things are still in my head.
The opening lines of chapter one reads:
"It's been three weeks, 21 days and 504 hours since...."
I had to stop reading and read this a few times and then break out the calculator.... these all add up to six weeks of time. So at first I'm thinking that it just made no sense to lay it out like this... typically this sentence would read, It's been five weeks, 6 days and 22 hours.... something like that. But it turns out that it had just been three weeks. Grammar is one thing that I typically just ignore with two exceptions. Exclamation points in wrong places (because we all shout those words in our heads) and placement of a comma that causes you to read something in the entirely wrong way.
This just sort of set the tone for me when I started the read.
The other thing is the heroine. Rebecca was insecure, sure having walked in on her fiance cheating on her and the tabloid fodder is sure to knock a girl's self esteem down a few notches... But I was getting whiplash from her self-loathing to the way she would stand up for herself with Nick. Her passive-aggressive view of herself kept me from developing any feelings for her at all.
But beyond that - this story was still something that broke through those issues to where I found I enjoyed it. I find it inspiring to see the bravery of authors that share with us readers so willingly. These stories are often parts of their lives, they have had them floating in their heads for months or years and the fact that they are willing to share that with the reader is always something that should be appreciated.
I did feel the need to immediately start the second volume of the story and that review will be posted shortly. In the end, I continued reading both the parts and will continue on with the final in the series because the story itself truly did capture my attention. I just am hopeful that Rebecca's character can balance being a little insecure without being self-harming in her personal tear-downs of herself.
Nicholas StoneHaven is a 28 years old businessman, son of the owner and heir of the StoneHaven Publishing, one of the NY most important publishing house. He's the second man in his company after his father. He's sexy, arrogant, has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes and is a womanizer and playboy. He never was in a relationship, until now, that his father is obliging him to marry Alison Price the daughter of one of their most important investors. Nicholas decided to go on with this charade but he's hopping to end it as soon as possible, first because he doesn't like her even though he has banged her once, second because he wants his freedom, especially after kissing the stranger he met on the plane.
Rebecca Gellar, is 24 years old UCLA graduate, she's curvy, short, redhead and green eyes. She's smart, funny and sassy and with a love for vintage clothes. Until one month ago she was engaged with her college friend Miles Storm, who is a famous tv series star. But one month ago she found him with his costar in bed...and now one moth after the press is only talking about the famous couple and the engagement ring. With a broken heart Rebecca decides to make a drastic change in her life and leave LA.
Not wanting to spoil the story much, Nicholas and Rebecca meet in her flight to NY, where she's going to begin her new life fresh and with a job interview at the StoneHaven Publishing. When they kiss on that plane something inside them happens. Than the faith make their paths cross more than once, it's there where all the fun begins.
I really liked this book, it's a nice, funny and sexy romance. It's a fast read. Sometimes I had the impression some moments were a bit rushed, but in general I liked what I read. The story plot is interesting, the characters are both interesting, challenging, sexy, funny and I loved their dialogs!
Curvy girl meets hot heir? Oh, yeah, this sounds like my favourite kind of read. I never lost interest because the writing style is good and as sexy as the plot itself. Rebecca is reeling from a painful break-up but strong enough to move to NY to start anew. It felt real and moving when she was going through the hurt her boyfriend had inflicted with his callous behaviour.
Even though she couldn't forgive him, she still had a weakness for him. I understood her very well. On her flight to NY, there is a funny and utterly arousing scene when she meets Mr. Blond and Perfect Mystery Man. I loved it!
Then, I was even happier when the POV included Nicholas, heir to a Publishing company who's got troubles of his own. Oh, how seriously sexy this man is. Fate crosses Nicholas and Rebecca's paths again in a very sensual way. I liked it when Becca still resists his advances because she's battling her wounded emotions over her last failed relationship. And there is also a big problem concerning Nicholas. Wait! The tangled web of their lives keeps getting knottier and naughtier.
I just loved their attitudes at the end of this first part. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they face each other in an impossible situation. He acts all pushy and alpha male, but she retaliates in the funniest and most challenging way. You just have to read that "elevator" chapter. I had a laugh with that, also blushing a bit. This serial is great, so off to the second part now.
What I don't understand is why the author decided to write this in three short stories instead of writing a full book! I think that is the part that doesn't make sense to me and frustrates me.
Sorry that I'm going to be the Debbie Downer here since there are so many 4 star ratings...
but the this was just okay for me! There were so many coincidences and circumstances that were so ridiculously unrealistic that I kept SMH!
Anyway, maybe it's just me but that's just my opinion.
I can't remember how long I have waited for this one. I thought it was okay, it was too short for me to really decide if I liked it or not. I loved Rebecca but Nicholas was so immature. I found the book to be little weak overall, could have been much cleaner and stronger. Too much was happening and it felt rushed because I wasn't give the time to take it in.
This is my first book to read by Vanessa Booke. I am excited to read more. This was a great story and very intriguing with lots of great tension. I love that the male character has some complexity to him. Love the tortured playboy.
You know when you get that feeling in your stomach that says “oh no, I made a mistake”? I usually experience this during my many moments of existential dread while lying awake at night contemplating my life choices. However, my body hit that alert button on the second page of Vanessa Booke’s (please don’t tell me that’s her pen name - but it would explain a whole fucking lot), Bound to You. Firstly, I encountered Vanessa on tik tok where she had posted a cute, albeit braggy, video about writing smut and getting paid for it. Okay, I’ll check out your oeuvre, Ms. Booke. Upon finding her selections on Amazon, I was surprised that she wasn’t a Kindle Unlimited author, which is fine. I extol the importance that if you like a certain KU, you should purchase their work as the authors receive next to nothing in recompense for their writing. That being said, I spent the five dollars. Never have I wanted five dollars back in my life - and I spent good money renting ‘Cats’ in a drunken lapse of sanity.
I will submit my review through compliment sandwich procedure: pro - con - pro. Sigh, buckle in folks, this is going to be a big ole’ meaty giant dagwood sandwich.
Pro (Top Bun): A curvy heroine. Well, I guess she’s curvy; however, the author can’t decide from one page to the next if she’s truly plus sized or simply ‘curvy’ or normal sized. Our heroine, Rebecca, does not encounter any issues finding vintage clothes that fit her immaculately well, invariably ‘off the rack’. Having been a connoisseur of vintage clothes for many years, the heavier you are the harder it is to locate clothes that fit and look well. For the sake of attempting to find something that I liked about this book, however, I’m going to suspend my disbelief and revel in Rebecca’s vast and gorgeous wardrobe that she found completely spur of the moment and didn’t spend hours online toiling through consignment websites and ebay looking for the perfect garments.
Cons (The Meat) Buckle Up: Rebecca’s Life. Come on, I know this is fiction, but this borders on the ridiculous. First, she’s dating a famous Hollywood star who cheats on her with his co-star. Again, disbelief suspended. Fine. She decides to move to New York City for a possible publishing job and to move in with her college roommate. This is where I’m going to mention that she and her college roommate are both 24. So, her roommate is an overnight event planning (?) sensation and is living in a penthouse apartment as payment for services rendered...as an event planner. I’m sorry, unless you’re a high class madame (not judging), are being kept by a sugar daddy, or selling coke, could you afford a penthouse on the upper east side in Manhattan. I understand that I’m being extremely pedantic in regards to this one point, however, this is just one example of the issues present throughout this whole book.
The lack of consistency. From one page to the next, Ms. Booke confuses major characteristics, plot points, and even clothing that that characters are wearing. For instance, in this exchange between Rebecca and her cheating ex, she forgets what her heroine is wearing in the spate of a few paragraphs. “I used to love the way Miles would kiss me. It was gentle, slow, and sensual, but this was different. His hand creeps up my shirt, finding its ways to nipple and pinching it slightly”. Besides the incorrect tense of the verb ‘pinch’ in that last sentence, please notice that the author has indicated that she’s wearing a shirt. Now, two paragraphs later: “It’s not like that, Becca. Please let me show you how much I’ve missed you.’ His hand slides up my dress, pushing apart my legs”. So, which is it? Does she have a shirt and bottoms on or a dress? Also, if she has a dress on, how is he getting into her bra? I understand these are small contrivances, but many of these add up.
Fanfiction gone bad. For those of you that have forayed into the world of fanfiction, you know there is a sliding scale of writing competence. Some stories are borderline, like, you can skip over the typos and get the gist of what is happening. Hey man, as long as Aziraphale and Crawley end up together at the end, I’m okay with some incorrect grammar or inconsistencies. Mostly, these are forgivable because there is no monetary value attached to the overall product. Ms. Booke’s writing style is reminiscent of that fanfiction writer that you follow and overlook grammatical errors and lack of a through-line because it’s free, and maybe English isn’t the author’s first language or they have a crap beta.
You can easily discern that no outline was utilized in sketching out the story-line of this book. It reads like a bad improv sketch - too many “yes and’s” and not enough connective tissue. For example, girl goes to NYC, meets hot guy on plane, kisses hot stranger on plane, goes to party meets hot plane guy, gets fingered in a dark bar hallway by hot plane guy, finds out plane guy is engaged, has interview for hot guy (!), works for hot engaged guy, etc. Even the smut scenes that Ms. Booke bragged about being paid to write are boring, surface level, and forgettable. If someone is looking to write a ‘yes and…’ erotic short story about Velma and Fred from Scooby Doo hooking up at a bar, I know the perfect someone.
Pro (Bottom Bun): Sweet baby jesus, I don’t know… The cover model was fucking hot. That’s about it. The characters were so rote, that I can’t even extol fake enthusiasm about their traits, personality etc. Nick seemed like a weak, jealous, and controlling agro-asshole. Rebecca was a waste of a character. Honestly, after she passed out for 3 days upon witnessing a physical altercation I wanted to throw my kindle outside in the hopes that a passing car would take it and me out of our misery.
In conclusion, please go and purchase a work by your favorite Kindle Unlimited writer tonight. So many fantastic writers are getting paid pennies for their delightful and beautiful work, and this woman is making bank in utter dreck. For those looking for recommendations of excellent KU authors, here are just a few: Emily McIntire, Chelle Sloan, Mariana Zapata, Misty Walker, etc.
This is the first book in the Bound To You series by Vanessa Booke. Rebecca is 24 years old and she’s just caught her actor fiancé (Miles) cheating with his co-star. Miles Storm is Hollywood’s new hot actor who stars in a hit television show. Rebecca is done with Miles and she’s done with Los Angeles so she decides to move to NYC. Her best friend, Carol, from college is giving her a place to stay until she finds something else. She’s also just gotten her dream job as a Personal Assistant at StoneHaven Publishing. One of New York’s oldest and most respected independent publishers. Stefan StoneHaven warned Rebecca she’ll be working for his son, Nicholas and he requires a babysitter to keep him outta trouble. Nicholas StoneHaven is 28 years old and he’s gone through five PA’s in the last year because he ends up sleeping with them. His father tells him enough screwing around it’s time to grow up and he’ll be marrying Alison Price. Alison is the daughter of one of his father’s investors and Nicholas can’t stand her. He slept with her once months ago and has avoided her at all costs ever since and now he’s being forced to marry her. Nicholas and Rebecca have explosive chemistry with one another so can they keep it professional ?
Review for Bound to You Volume 1 (Millionaire’s Row) by Vanessa Booke
Bound to You is a serial type series that follows Rebecca and her desire for a fresh start and Nicholas as he finally figures out what it is he wants out of life even if it means losing everything.
I have to say this was one heck of a start to a serial… Booke managed to stuff enough emotion and story into a novella length book that I never once felt cheated. The writing style and flow between chapters and POV changes is flawless; as is the character development. I cannot wait to devour the rest of the series!
We start off with Rebecca and her finding out that her fiancé was diddling his co-star and a humiliating break up. Despite her parents not supporting her decision she packs up and moves to New York City for a job opportunity that will help make her dream career come to fruition. There is one tiny little catch… she has to keep her new boss in line… and he loves has a knack for not being able to keep it in his pants.
Arrogant. Brooding. Domineering. Possessive. Womanizer. Handsome. All of these are qualities of Nicholas Stonehaven. He’s got a horrible track record with personal assistants… they fall in love and he falls out of lust. Forced into an engagement he wants nothing to do with he is blindsided when his newest assistant ends up being everything he never knew he wanted. Holy crap on a cracker this book oozes with sexual angst. The chemistry between Nicholas and Rebecca is off the charts… Rebecca is determined to keep her word and stay away from him and Nicholas is determined to have her in his bed — he needs to get her out of his system. Well, they sure did give it a try. And when they both fail miserably and fall into each other … freakin-A!
“He doesn’t wait for me to question him. He simply takes.”
If you are in need of a hot quickie that you can come back for more of later (ie Volume 2) then you HAVE to read this one. FOUR star storyline with FIVE drenched panties for smutfactor. I can not wait for more! Certified Mommy’s a Book Whore Must Read NOW!!
I came across this book in a book group of mine. The author was telling us how her first two novels were free, so I took the chance and read the first book that night. From what I read from the blurb, the novel sounded intriguing and interesting. And it was! The plot and the characters from the first page captivated me, especially since Rebecca is such a relatable and likable character.
Rebecca Gellar is done with men. After her fiancé, and Hollywood star, Miles Storm, cheats on her with his co-star, Rebecca packs up and leaves everything she knew so she can start a life for herself. She gets lucky when she get offered a job at StoneHaven publishing, her dream job. Well, at least she feels lucky with the job opportunity until she meets her new ‘boss’ for the next six months—her boss’s son, Nicholas StoneHaven.
Nicholas isn’t the man he used to be. After tragedy left him with a sense of loss and guilt, he has been going from women to women to fill the void. Too bad he slept with the wrong woman and now his father expects him to marry her—for the good of the company, or so he says. To make matter worse, the redheaded beauty, the one he can’t stop thinking about, is now his new assistant.
Can he fight the attraction he feels for her? If not, what would this mean for both him and Rebecca?
This book, all in all, great! I liked the plot but what I loved most was the respect the main character had for herself. She was so strong and independent, and yes, she made a few mistakes, but she owned up to them and tried to be a better person. I was shocked to like Nicholas as much as I did. I didn’t really like this character in the beginning of the story, but there’s more to his character than meets the eye.
I recommend this book to everyone!
My favorite quotes:
“I don’t wan prince charming to come save me and fix everything. I want to save myself.”
“You’re beautiful. Who wouldn’t want you? I mean, I do, and I’m not even into girls.”
I just finished Bound To You Volume 1 and I really liked it. It's quick but packs a sexy punch and I couldn't out it down. Rebecca has been betrayed by her boyfriend in the worse way. He has been cheating on her. She finds out and gives it good to the hussy, drops him and now needs to get away. I so don't blame her. She moves to NY to start a new life, has an interview to go to so life couldnt be better even though she is nursing a broken heart. Flying to NY and making out with a sexy playboy on the plane just about makes her day. Not exchanging numbers is a little upsetting but is hesitant since it has been 3 weeks since she dumped cheater. That's ok if it is meant to be it will be meant to be. Later that night after settling in she see Nicholas AKA sexy playboy at the club. What she finds out is that she his engaged. The RAT!! Things are not always as they seem. She leaves and hopes to never see him again. She gets her job as a PA but there is a catch....it's Nicholas. Tsk Tsk Tak. He's been a very bad boy. He wants her but can't have her. What will happen with close proximities. We will have to find out!
I enjoyed the story. It flowed really well and even though it was quick it was sexy and yummy! It was well developed and to the point. Story characters. For me to love a story I have to hear their voices if you know what I mean. I definitely heard theirs and want so much more.
Nicholas is a hottie and can so see more coming from him. Daddy issues at their family business is gonna cause problems. I can't wait to see how it will intertwine with their story. Rebecca is awesome. Loved her from the get go. She can take care of herself that's for sure. Just so you know, even though it is short their chemistry was hot. Hell they haven't even had sex yet and man it was so freaking hot!!! I cannot wait!!
Seriously. Get out and get this one. You are gonna love it!!

Summary: “After breaking off her engagement with Hollywood actor Miles Storm, Rebecca is ready for a change of scenery in her life and in her bed. So when the opportunity to work for StoneHaven Publishing, one of New York City’s most respectable publishing empires presents itself, Rebecca doesn’t hesitate moving to the Big Apple. If she can just get through these six months without strangling Nicholas with his Armani tie, she'll be okay – easier said than done.” (excerpt from http://www.amazon.com/Bound-You-Volum...)
Bound to You is short but fast paced first book in a series. Rebecca sets the tone of the story from the get go – the pacing is fast, the story telling is quick. The characters are strong in a way, well, they certainly are strong at work, but Vanessa quickly exposes the chink in both their armors.
The female lead shows an independent and fearless streak when she packs up and leaves her comfortable existence in the West Coast and faces the uncertainty of life in the East Coast. Her one weakness? The attraction she feels for her new boss, Nicholas StoneHaven.
Volume 1 sets the stage for what is happening in the series and lays out Rebecca's back story. The situation that Rebecca finds herself in gets more complicated by the minute. Nicholas StoneHaven seems to be everywhere she is and she just can’t escape him, or the strong attraction she feels for him.
The series promises to be a hot and spicy one, and I would venture to guess, may be full of twists and turns.
Rebecca is a young girl that just got out of a relationship with a m cheating looser that used his career to justify his infallible actions. Needless to say I automatically felt hate towards slime ball Miles, and fell in love with Rebecca's character. She is somewhat insecure about her curvy figure, but proves later to be a sassy, sexy, curvy woman capable of turning the heads of the most eligible bachelors, even when our heroine don't even realize it.
In between all the chaos in Rebecca's life she has the opportunity to extricate herself from the mess Miles left her in by going to interview for a position in one of US most important publishing houses, based in New York City. On the plane she meets sexy, alpha, domineering Nicholas and sparks fly (almost literally).
Fate being the bitchy lady she is, have them meeting for a second time the same day, but not under the best circumstances, even though the electricity is palpable when they touch. Could they be able to avoid each other?? Will fate keep playing tricks on this two!!!!!
I'm a mom and even I want to strangle Becca's mom for playing her like that, and by the way the same goes for Nicholas dad.
Definitely can't wait to read the second book of this series. As I can say that if it wasn't because I had to go to work this morning I would have read it in one sitting.
This is the first book I read from author Vanessa Booke, and I have to say to her: keep them coming please. If the rest are going to be as good as this one you have a fan for life. The story though short was well thought and well written, very entertaining and funny sometimes. The characters are beautifully created and I'm as in love with ones as I hate others, which means they all achieved the author's purpose and she has reached our expectations with the story.
I READ THIS AS A SET BOOKS 1-3 TOGETHER LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT !!
I admit I had the first two books on my kindle and not a chance to read them so when I saw the tour I had to jump on it so I could make the time and finally dive in !! I was in love with Rebecca right away , YAY for CURVY girls !! I felt her pain and despair when her man tried to pull one on her and I was so thankful she was strong enough to ditch Miles and go for her dreams and start over in NY. Of course I knew she was going to have a run in with a super hot wealthy guy , I mean this is NY and she is suffering from a broken heart !! Not only does she have this run in right away on the plane , this guy ends up being none other than the man she will be working for !! It is ironic and funny and yes something I totally daydream about !! LOL
Immediately Nicholas is smitten , he wants this fiery redhead from the plane under him and out of his system. That is who he is , no attachments just fun. Of course his father has other plans and has been planning a marriage of benefit for the company. Nicholas wants no part of this and of course once Rebecca hears of it she tries her best to stay away. Throughout the story they are forced into situations alone and together that in the end force their hands and honest feelings out. They are HOT AS SIN together and I was drooling A LOT !! I love Nicholas , he is all alpha male and bad A$$ but he is not the typical jerk that screws everyone and expects Rebecca to wait for him. He does struggle with his engagement and how to get out of it. He wants to admit his feelings but fears rejection. I love his POV and although he does do a few dumb things he really is AWESOME !! I loved how it played out , loved the ending and look so forward to reading more by this author !! That little sneak peek at the end , HOT WOW !!
How do I describe Bound To You ? Absolutely and utterly Fanfreakintastic .... How do I describe Nicholas StoneHaven absolutely and utterly every women Wet fantasy ... With looks that makes every woman melt in a puddle of lust , a personality that makes you wanna please him in every way .... Is no wonder Rebecca has a hard time saying no to him .... But no she most say , because even if they both feel the undeniable current of lust , He is forbidden . After getting her heart broken by her cheating ex fiancé Rebecca Gellar leaves her hometown in Los Angeles flying to New York for a Job interview at the very famous and prestigious StoneHaven Publishing . Never mind that she is deadly afraid of flying and just her luck the airplane is going thru a bad storm , her purse goes flying directly in to first class and lands by the most handsome man she has ever seen ... And with the airplane shaking thru the turbulence she ends up landing on his lap, and that is how their first encounter and kiss happen . I'm just going to tell you that each encounter gets steamier, hotter, it will leave you panting . Bound to You is well written ,hot ,romantic it makes your heart sings , I love how the Author lets us read the book from Nicholas and Rebecca's point of view it makes it complete balance knowing what each of them is feeling . I am glad to have been giving the privilege to read the ARC of this book , I devoured it in one sitting could not put it down and was very sad that I now have to wait for volume two when , volume one has not even been release ... I'm crying in the inside really, waiting is going to suck . That is how great Bound To You really is ! Author Vanessa Booke you got me truly hooked , my hat off to you ! ;)
*This Review is for the entire novel (all 3 volumes) and will be posted with the novel as well as the individual volumes*
This book was sexy, funny, feisty, and has plenty of drama. I devoured this book in just a couple of hours. I really enjoyed the characters (both the main ones and the support ones). I found myself thinking about it afterwards. I think that is a mark of a great book. I was thinking about how great it would be to have a volume 4 to read about what would happen next. So when I logged into Goodreads in preparation to do this post I let out a little squeak of excitement when I saw that yes indeed there would be a volume 4!
Nicholas is a playboy who has been thrust into responsibility in the family publishing business and an unwanted engagement with a woman he can’t stand (all by his father). Rebecca is getting away from a cheating ex-fiancé and trying to pursue her dream career in book publicity. They actually meet twice, by chance, before they figure out they are going to be working together. Rebecca is driven, sweet, and determined to make a career for herself and not get involved with Nicholas. Nicholas is sexy, a total alpha male, and determined to make Rebecca his. I loved both of these characters. They had a lot of development and personal growth over the course of the story.
I loved the story line in this one. The drama kept me on my toes and the passion between Rebecca and Nicholas had me in search of a good fan. The characters had great chemistry with not only each other, but also their friends. This was a fantastic book and I can’t wait to read that volume 4 to get that little bit of extra I’m dying for and also to read Tristan’s story. 5 out of 5 stars!
