In order to protect their crewmates, Akari and Michelle use their abilities and head into battle against the Terraformars, who have adapted unique and terrifying new forms! The enemy’s astounding strength forces them into an unexpectedly desperate fight. Meanwhile, the whereabouts of the other teams scattered around Mars become clear. The battle between humans and the demons they created reaches a new intensity.
** MINOR SPOILER ALERT ** Wow... The suspense begins here! Like in the previous one, Terra Formars somehow 'evolve' with some crazy skills and somehow made me uncomfortable and scared. I really have high hope with Michelle and Akari's team. Both of them are very powerful, for now. I love how calm and calculated Michelle. Wow! And Akari, I thought he's only about strength and muscle but apparently he's smart and quick learner. *Please be alive until the end*
The other team like Russian are awesome like hell. It isn't like what you see before and now we know their true power especially the crazy old man and his klutz subordinate. I hope they'll survive too. I'm curious about the rest, thought. Overall, the adrenaline rush is back in this volume and I'm quite surprise with the newbie. They're not bad at all, for now. I know they'll likely die somewhere in the next volume :))
I fucking hate cockroaches, and I didn’t think anything could make me hate them more. And then, I lucked upon this premise! ‘Terra Formars’ is among the wildest science fiction stories I’ve read ever, it’s got serious Akame Ga Kill vibes which I’ve been craving. Prepare for gore and many insect factoids, even more than you can imagine. It was a great experience even with not-so-great translations; can’t wait for an official english release.
It’s been on a hiatus for five years, and will imminently return, yet I found the manga only today. How lucky is that! I’m a reader from now on, despite how icky I feel…
If I didn't need to stay current in this seres for work, I probably would have stopped reading it volumes ago. The violence is overdone and the look of the roachmen is distinctly uncomfortable, plus I keep getting the characters confused. I love all the random science facts, but really, that's about it.
