As is my usual review practice, I've marked this as 'contains spoilers' simply because I use this space to combat a 'medical vs. memory' battle, which I now understand, I'll never win. It will therefore contain spoilers...I think, I can't remember?

To Consider
Use of herb's for medicinal purposes has been around forever, and for a good reason.

My 'Star' Rating
Is my genuine opinion. But it's also my opinion that 'averaging a # of stars rating-system' is more appropriate for elementary school teachers. Here it's less than useless. But I'll play your game, even though the validity is truly only of value to me, and me alone.

My Review
Consists of a 3-choice system: 'I Like it' or 'It's Okay' or 'I Don't Like it' kind of thing. Three choices, that's it, that's all.
In this case, it's an 'I Like' book.

Although there is no herbal cure for any of the countless incurable chronic disease's (drat!) and to be fair, it specifically says it's not a book for those type of medical situations. This is an informative little book (small at only 54 pages) that's not a read cover-to-cover kind of book. It's a reference book...where you look-up 'what ails you, then try this' book. It has a boat-load of information on preparation...I learned quite a-bit here. I was unaware of a lot of the ways to prepare and use a herb. There's a variety of 'this herb, helps that' which handle the simple things like headaches, etc.. That's what I expected, and that's what I found. So for my purposes this book has value to me. If for no other reason than to save a few dollars by not buying brandname meds.

Good book to have as a resource. I learned about several plants that I’d want to check out further.

love it

This was really informative and I’ll use it as a handy reference in the future. I think I’m going to try making a few herbal teas and see how they work

Excellent

This book is very thorough and is a great resource for natural health although it is a relatively short book. It is easy to understand as well.

Not only does the reader learn so much about each herb's properties, but the recipes included are straightforward to concoct so you no longer need to worry about processed chemical remedies.
