Ok, honest review of this story. It was well written and the characterisation was good. This is obviously part of a larger series and is the first instalment. I really didn't enjoy this story much as I prefer the female lead to have more backbone and smartarsed back chat - even if they are in a submissive roll. I do enjoy alpha male stories but I prefer intelligent dominance over Neanderthal bludgeoning. Personally I think she should have ripped this guy a new one, no matter how Hot he was, but that's just my view and in no way detracts from the fact that this author can write well. I don't have to like it, I'm sure others will disagree.

This was an ok read the hero(?) was kind of a jerk and I wondered about him from the start. the heroine Leah just accepted everything way to easily with no questions asked. With that being said I did find myself drawn into this book and it got really good at the end. I have no clue what will happen next but I actually want to find out.

I am on the fence about this one.
Hes your typical over the top possessive Alpha
And shes the typical shy loner
But what she didn't have was backbone.

What girl lets a man kidnap her in such a brutal way and then transport her in a cage
like an animal only to be man handled by strange women and shoved in front of him
like a big neon sign "Screw Me!"
It wouldn't of been hard for him to seduce her properly or at least kidnap her in a more harmless way.
Then when she is shown the truth of his lies she just sits there like an obedient slave.
I would of told him, screw him and disappear out of his life with the child he conceived in lies.
A women can be a submissive and still have back bone and some self respect.!

January 10, 2017Po úvodnom bordeli s únosom a oplodňovaním, bol zvyšok príbehu dobre napísaný.
Samo o sebe ma to dosť prekvapilo...skoro tak ako to, že som to dočítala, možno preto že to fakt nebolo moc dlhé...
Nejaké hlboké myšlienky nehľadajme, chlapík niečo chcel, chlapík si to zariadil, ženská si odžila..chvíľami som prevracala oči(hlavne v scéne, kde mu vyzná lásku...robíš si srandu, uniesol ťa cez pol sveta v klietke pre divé zviera....niekde cestou sa dievča muselo pekne šľahnúť o tie kovové tyčky)
Chlapíkova premena na nežného budúceho otca ma dostávala, ale opäť to nebolo napísané tak umelo ako by sa dalo čakať. Možno je autorka schopnejšia než sa zdá, len jej chýba normálnejší námet, kde nebudú šamani s odvarmi na zvýšenie plodnosti etc. :D
Tak trochu ako romanca z 90.-tych rokov, tam bol tiež chlap chlapom len ak aspoň raz donútil dámu "uvedomiť si" že "to" vlastne chcela a úplne najlepší bol, ak sa doňho spomínaná hus zamilovala.
To už ale zabieham k dúfajme umierajúcej časti literárneho sveta a končím s tým, že autorka by nebola na zahodenie, mať lepší materiál, pretože s takou hovadinou písať tak, aby som to dočítala...klobúk dole.

Enjoyed the book although it was way to short.
For once I would like to read a book where the girl after being treated so poorly does not go all gaga over the guy as soon as she gets a taste at what he's packing.
He had her kidnapped placed in a cage and basically f***ed her brains out till she got pregnant, yet she offered no resistance to this treatment. Sigh
I am hoping that the second instalment will give Leah a backbone and not just be Adams brood mare.
I love erotic novels but the same ole same ole is getting boring.

This story is a teeny weeny bit cheesy...but I have to say I really liked it. One of my guilty pleasures I think. I really need the next fix! The story is pretty typical, and the characters show some weird reactions to extreme circumstances, but who wants to read about realistic adventure anyway. Real life Sucks compared to the crazy goings on...I loved it. Very very good twist, and a real cliff hanger. Please tell me part two is on its way pllllllleeeeeeeaaaaasssssseee x
