When John ducks into a bar in an alien city he's only looking for a drink, but it's not every day you get hit on by a tentacle monster. His day is about to get a whole lot more interesting... If he can take it.
Just as sexy, and fun as I hoped it would be. PWP that didn't pretend to be anything more or anything less than what it was. No hea, no true love, just sweet, sweet smut.
I got it for a present.
Do I want to read it? Am I going to spend $2.99 for 16 pages?
Interesting use of an alien species (and one with many, skilled tentacles) but I wasn't awed by the story. Nice enough, just not overly impressive to me. There is not enough information to form a clear picture of John so I can relate or like him more. This is basically a PWP.
The use of the present tense was rather distracting but I managed to ignore it as I progressed.
Not much else to say. It's a handful of pages describing a sex scene with tentacles and breathplay.
Okay, I'm framing this within the realms of PWP, so yeah.
I'm rather disappointed that there's no anal penetration with said tentacles. It's mostly focused on the breathplay which, don't get me wrong, isn't bad. It's just, you know, not tentaclesex, per se...
I like Charlotte Mistry's writing style and world building, I think she does a good job there. However, this like Gay Tentacles from Space reads more like a porno than a story, still it was enjoyable and I really liked the idea of this bar and alien life forms. Charlotte Mistry isn't afraid to make her alien characters not humanlike, but still manages not to make them come off repulsive.
This is short and feels pricey for it's length, but was enjoyable and kinky without being creepy.
I liked another Charlotte Mistry book I read (Gay Tentacles from Space), but this one didn't really work for me. The writing was good again, but this one actually lived up to my expectations of the title of the book I actually liked.
