This book is intended for ages 7 to 11 years. A spaceship lands in the forest behind Jake and Scott's house, and the two boys are launched on a quest of galactic proportions. Nojo, an alien, is looking for a lost treasure from another world, and only Jake and Scott can help him find it. Their adventure takes them to the moon, where danger awaits at every turn. The three treasure hunters encounter alien guards and only quick thinking and quicker action can save the day. "Raiders of the Lost Ark", the "X-Files", and "Star Trek" all rolled into one, this adventure book has something for everyone. This book a special alien alphabet decoder in the back of the book; clues written in the alien alphabet at the beginning of each chapter; illustrations on every page; and, short 4-6 page chapters.

This is just what it looks like and that is a good thing. This is for a young reader a great introduction to science fiction. A great read with enough real science for a young reader to learn something and enough pure speculation to make it fun. Simple illustrations help clarify everything going on. I would totally recommend this to a young reader.

I like this book because it has lots of facts in the book that I didn't know before.
