Clara Roberts has found herself forced to flee across country, pursued by a madman who seems to have access to every aspect of her life. Consequently, she is off the grid and under the radar when her truck breaks down in a small corner of Southwestern, Oklahoma, and she finds herself at the mercy of a local cowboy. While she knows that she will eventually have to keep running to stay one step ahead of her stalker, she begins to find herself drawn to this man. With his support she decides that her life is something worth fighting for.

Shad Brandt wasn’t sure what to expect when he pulled over to help out the girl on the side of the road, but it isn’t long before he realizes that she was a lot more than he bargained for. He knows that she is running from something, but he can’t quite place his finger on what it is. However, he cannot turn his back on this woman in need and when he opens his home and his heart to her he finds something else entirely. So when danger comes to lay claim to Clara, he finds that he is willing to sacrifice everything to make sure she stays safe.

I am a shameless romance addict with no intentions of ever kicking the habit. Growing up I dreamed of entertaining people and taking them on fantastical journeys with my acting abilities, until I came to the realization as a college sophomore that I had none to speak of. Another ten years would pass before I discovered a different means to accomplishing the same dream: writing stories of love and passion for addicts just like me.I have always loved romance stories and I try to tie all the elements I like about them into my writing.

Clara and Shad. Fun little tale with a crazed stalker and a hero from out of nowhere.
Clara is on the run from a villain who is an uber hacker stalker. chasing her from all her family and friends. She runs to her last friend in Texas but her car dies in the middle of nowhere. Along comes tall not-so-dark and handsome and a safe haven. It all sounds far fetched, and it is, but I still enjoyed it.

Clara was on the run because she was being stalked. Someone had destroyed her life by hacking into her bank accounts and making them disappear, giving her false felony charges and just making her look like a terrible person. This person is now stalking her so she tries to disappear. She meets a handsome cowboy when her car breaks down and he stops to help her. When they find out it is going to take a few days for her car to be repaired, the cowboy, Shad, gives her room, board and a job until it is fixed.

It had wonderful character development, especially for such a short story. Clara has a strong personality and hasn't let the computer hacker/stalker get the better of her. Shad is very kind and wants to help Clara. He is also very attracted to Clara so doesn't want her to go. He knows Clara is running and has a secret but doesn't push her for answers. I enjoyed this story but it was a bit too short. I would have liked to find out why the stalker was after her in the first place.

Recommend to anyone wanting a quick contemporary western romance.

Somebody needs to work with the author about titling her books. My first impression when I picked up this book was that I probably wouldn't finish this read if it turned out to be as salacious as the title suggested.

It wasn't, so I finished this to short story in less than an hour.

If the author hadn't been forced to add some detail to the sex scenes because of the title, this could easily have been a dual publication with a "clean" version. Some revenue flow was certainly lost.

Meeting, having a woman stay at your place and bedding her in less than 36 hours is mostly a pipe dream guys have that never happens. From the generally positive reviews this novel has received, I guess it's a dream of the modern woman. Dang, I was born way to early.

I rrated this book just 2 stars because it failed to live up to it's potential.

Story was good but very short. I started to become invested in the characters and storyline, but sadly it ended so fast. Although the story ends with an ideal conflict resolution, it felt too rushed. You meet the main characters on Friday, find out what is going on with the (plot/stalker) mainly in self-thought snips over a two day period. Saturday introduces a new character, and Sunday is the climax. With using such a plot as the author used, it would be infinitely more believable/enjoyable if the story was longer and a bit more drawn out. This is not to say the book isn't good, but it should be longer.

This book had some nice characters or it could have had if more time had been spent developing them, this is a free and it's nice enough it's just that it could have been so much more the groundwork was there for a good book, I did enjoy what I read but it needed more.

Stranded, Stalked, and Finally Sated (License to love #1) was a good read by Amelia Rose. Clara is being pursued by a madman who has access to every aspect of her life. This forces her to flee across the country. Her truck breaks down in Oklahoma and a local cowboy offers to help her. She is drawn to Shad although she knows she must keep moving. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

This is a very, very short book. If you want a quick read that hints at romance, look no further. If you want real characters and true love, think about passing on this one. Regardless of the lack of depth, I enjoyed the essence of this book.

Clara breaks down in the middle of nowhere and Shad finds her. He sees she's scared and alone and wants to help. He has his brother Woody look at her car and he takes her home. He knows he wants her, but doesn't want to scare her. He knows she will tell her secrets in time. Good ending!

Okay, first i am not a fan of 'insta-love' it is more lust than anything else (to me). Second, the title could use some work. Editing was good, story line flowed, the bad guy was a bad guy and the H was f-i-n-e.

Stranded, Stalked and Finally Sated (License to Love #1) by Amelia Rose – She got very lucky in the small town her car broke down in because that was the most competent stalker ever! Happy Reading!

Clara is forced to leave everything she knows and loves to escape a particularly vicious stalker. While attempting to get away and stay completely off the grid, her car breaks down and she is rescued by a handsome cowboy. Whe
The book brought light onto the terrifying topic of stalkers. They are all too real. It covered the topic without being morbid or frightening.
I enjoyed the book but found it to be too short. So much was left unexplained. But it was still a good read.
I received this book for free in exchange for this honest review.

This was a good read, but a little to short, it would have been nice to have just a bit more background info on why she was being stalked by this guy...where did he first see her and/or what did she do or not do that made him do the things he did....enquiring minds want to know....or maybe its just me...anyway other then being to short it was a good read and hopefully we find out a bit more in the next book even if she and Shad are just background/secondary characters in it.

This is a short story with a great storyline. I love the characters. Clara is a strong woman, but shows us that even the strongest can be broken. Shad is the knight is cowboy armor. I only gave this four stars because once the climax hit the story quickly ended. Could have more of a follow up to the climax. But I loved this story and look forward to more from the author.

Stranded,Stalked and Finally Sated

I think this was a great story. A little short ,but, still great reading. This is the first Amelia Rose book I have read, but surely not my last. I would recommend this book to anyone that would like a great story line from the beginning to the end.

Sweet action and passion

This novella captured me within the first paragraph. Couldn't stop reading it. Love the well thought out storyline for the hero and heroine, villan was caught too easily. If you looking for a short book with appropriate sexual scenes and excitement finishing off with good action; this is your book. I finished reading in under an hour.

This book was one of the giveaways.

This book was way too short I did not want it to end. The story was good but I wanted to know more about the characters and the background. I am hoping the other stories in the series will give me more information.
