Assembly Distinctives

Rate this book
For over 50 years, Mr. Harold Mackay served his Lord, first in Canada, but then for decades in North Carolina. He was preeminently a Bible teacher, speaking at conferences in Canada and in the USA, as well as in his home assembly in Greensboro. His objective was to glorify the Lord by preaching the gospel and building up New Testament assemblies.

This book, Assembly Distinctive, is his personal testimony, and plainly not an official expression by any central control group. Indeed, the author makes it plain that there is no such control. The word distinctive does not imply monopoly. Many independent congregations practice some of these truths out of the love for the Lord Jesus. We should all seek to follow the New Testament pattern ever more closely.
