"The Wave: A Smartphone Fable,” set in 2014, traces fictional West Media’s entry into the high flying smartphone market and how Wall Street, the news media and the public embrace it amid a frenzy.

Unknown to nearly all, terrorists have planted a latent explosive material in the popular device that will be detonated during the Christmas holidays. Alerted to the danger, a last ditch effort is launched by authorities and others to have the Wave taken off the market. Social networking as civil defense is born. But the clock is ticking.

"Never judge a book by its cover." That's how the saying goes. That's what I did with this one. "A Smartphone fable?" I thought. Seemed kinda weird but I gave it a try and it turned out to be a great story about one hell of a terrorist attack. Well played Karachi group.
