If you’re a fan of contemporary romance by Bella Andre, Lora Leigh, Maya Banks, Sylvia Day, then you won’t want to miss Jasmine Haynes’s heart-wrenching family saga, The Jackson Brothers.

A family torn apart by tragedy...

Three years ago, Lou Jackson, eldest son, died in a work accident. And nothing has been the same since for the Jacksons. They lost their heart and soul the day Lou died, even as matriarch Evelyn tries to keep them together. But things are changing and the family will either find their way back to each other. Or they’ll be torn asunder.

Connie Jackson wants another baby, but her husband no longer desires her. She’s beginning to suspect he’s having an affair. Once the woman with the smartest kids, the happiest home, and the best marriage, now she’s just somebody’s wife whose husband is cheating on her.

There’s only one thing to do. Connie’s going to have to seduce her husband back into her bed.

Mitch Jackson loves his wife too much to ever look at another woman. But his brother’s death has taught him that life can fall apart in the blink of an eye, and the fear of leaving his family defenseless if he’s gone has robbed him of a decent night’s sleep for the last three years. And now his wife wants another child they can’t afford.

When Connie pulls out all the stops, she becomes the seductress he can’t resist. Mitch has only one option, but if Connie figures out what he’s up to, it could mean the end of their marriage.

“Somebody’s Wife” is a contemporary erotic romance of approximately 26,000 words and contains super sexy material.

This story was previously published in 2006 in the anthology “Somebody’s Lover” by Jasmine Haynes.

The book contains the following bonus
Excerpts from “Double the Pleasure,” “Kinky Neighbors,” and “She’s Gotta Be Mine” by Jasmine alter ego Jennifer Skully.

This is a good read. The familiar characters from Book 1 & 2 make it more enjoyable because we already know the people involved. I think it put a greater depth to the story.

The Jackson family has been torn apart by tragedy. Mitch has not been the same since the death of his older brother, Lou, placing too much on his own shoulders. He begins to pull away from his family. His wife thinks he is having an affair. She wants a baby. He is too fearful.

I definitely recommend this book especially if you have read the others in this series.

Ok, I feel really odd about this book. mainly because the entire freakin premise didn't make any damn sense. Connie wants a baby, Mitch is a worry-wart concerning money and family planning. so to get Mitch on board with having another baby Connie proceeds to spend a ridiculous amount of money, that they really don't have, on sex toys. surprisingly Mitch is absolutely on board with this plan (WTF?!) Then the great baby debate comes to a head, and instead of Connie acting like a grown-up she decides if she can't have more children; then the marriage just isn't worth it. (seriously?) This book obviously ended up with Mitch rolling over to save his family, but really wasn't anywhere near the realm of as good as the first book of the series.

Having read book 1 and 2 I was expecting to love this. Don't get me wrong, the sex was hot and a visit to a sex shop might be on the cards. The problem was the conflict between them. It didn't make sense for a couple who had been married for ten years. A baby may be a deal-breaker for a new couple but these two had two children already, and were, I'll say it again, married for 10 YEARS!!
They love each other, but Connie brings up divorce because Mitch reneged on a promise to have a big family. Seriously? Situations change in life and she just couldn't let it go. As for Mitch I kinda understand the worrying, but man, he took it to extremes.
4 stars for the hot loving, better than book 2.
2 stars because they both annoyed me

How much more could he do to help ease the guilt of getting his brother killed?

Somebody's Wife
Jackson Brothers 3
Product Details
Connie wants a baby. She is a mom of 2, and her baby is about to start 1st grade. Now is the time. A close call a few months ago has only made the need greater. Mitch and her have always wanted to big family, but now he barley touches her. She doesn't understand and fears he may be cheating on her. She will just have to seduce her husband and get things moving in the baby direction.

After his brothers death, a crippling fear has entered Mitch that he can not shake. How will his family survive if anything happens to him? Penny pitching and worrying about money has put a huge strain of his marriage to Connie. She now wants a baby too. How will they afford it? How will they get by? How will their marriage survive if he can't be honest with his feeling and fears? He would never cheat on his wife, but after he tells her he doesn't want any more children, will his marriage survive?

These 3 stories are about a family who has lost a cherished family member, who is a brother, son, husband, father and how the family has coped or hasn't. The 3 stories should be read in order because the stories build upon each other. They are especially about a family grieving, getting past it and coming out with even more love on the other side. I will say book 1 was my favorite. Book 1 one was HOT!! Like scotching HOT. I am glad my husband was near by HOT. Book 2 and 3 both had their moments and were both very good but WOW! One of the things I liked most about these books was that the family dynamics. It was like a glimpse into the family next door and the problems that they face. The Jackson family doesn't realise how strong it truly is until they face the trials of life. Death happens and families can implode with the weight of it or band together to help one another. Wonderful stories, lovely romance that will melt your heart and steamy enough to get your toes curling. Thanks for the great read!

Having devoured Jace and David's quests finding love, launching into Mitch's was a no brainer. And whilst it has a slightly different dynamic as he is married, his and Connie's journey of bringing the spice back into their marriage was as hot and sexy as his brothers.

Each man has coped (or to be more precise hasn't) with the death of their oldest brother Lou in their own individual way. Mitch, the middle of the 3, is no different, but with a wife and young children to support he has turned into the ultimate worrier. Gaviscon is his best friend, his scrooge-like tendencies have put a strain on his marriage and the fact that Connie wants to expand their family is likely to give him the ulcer he is desperately trying to avoid. Connie decides the time has come to woo her man into action and following a trip to the sex-store, a sexual and sensual quest begins...

It was hot. Sizzling hot, but with a deeper story accompanying it and I loved them both, particularly Mitch and his moves. He surprised me, although I'll admit at times I could've throttled him.

This is a series to read. I finished each book in a couple of hours and whilst you will need to switch the fan on to cool down after the hot stuff, they also stir you emotions and there isn't a single member of the Jackson family that I haven't grown to love. I would love to read more, but I get the impression that this could be the end.

I really enjoyed this book, despite the married couple drama going on. It is easy to skim over that part and get right to the smexy!!

The mixed narrative is nice, it lets you in on both sides of the conflict. Some of the segments are short and can feel choppy when bouncing between Mitch and Connie. There is also added narrative from supporting characters. I did love that treat!

The book is mostly about a married couple rediscovering their groove!! Oh boy do they ever!! Sex toys and handcuffs can really bring the ole spark back!!! Better read this one in the cold shower or with the hubby near by! It is a scorcher!!!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by June Wayne, who was a delight! She has a great energy throughout the read and really steamed up the smexy parts. Steady pace that moves with the story. I enjoyed her smooth tone and the consistent voices. I would love to hear more of her work! She fit this book perfectly!

I like the way the three stories tied together and showed different elements of the brothers. Each member of the family had their own things to overcome after brother Lou's death. While it is a hot and steamy series, there is also a sweet story here about a family healing.

Disclosure - I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.

The 3rd book in the Jackson Brother's trilogy.

This book is about Mitch and his wife Connie. Since the death of his eldest brother Lou, Mitch has been eaten with fear that something will happen to him and cause his wife and two children to be left alone to struggle. His fears are tied up in in his unresolved grief for his brother.

Connie feels it's time to grow into the big family they've always planned. But Mitch is insisting they can't afford it. This is causing friction between them and a lot of fights.

Connie and Mitch both want to make their way back to each other but have to face some difficult truths about themselves first.

This was a sweet story, Connie & Mitch's love for one another is never in doubt they've just lost sight of each other and their dreams.

Once again, all the characters are very likable but not perfect. It's not a super long read but was a nice way to sum up the series. Overall I give the trilogy 4 stars. The first book is my favorite and it's currently free on Amazon.

This story, like most in this series always makes you connect with the characters. First of all, it's believable. There is nobody trying to kill anybody just a married couple going through a bad time, well throw in some kinky hot sex and now you get the picture. Mitch was a tortured soul spending his time worrying about the future and letting his marraige slip away. Connie his highschool sweetheart was bound and determine to turn that ship around. She gets a little creative in the bedroom and Mitch finds himself fixated on her and where he's going to do her. Suddenly he can't think of nothing but the when and where and neither can she. Besides a little drama about having more kids which I was on the fence about ( I could see both sides and didn't know how I would handle it either). This had so many deep seated truths to it on how couples get lost in their marraiges playing their parts. Hey what's not to like, I loved this story. Finding their love and excitement for each other all over again, and again, and again..

Well this 3rd installment was the best out of the3!
Husbands and wives being completely self absorbed then not getting needs met, blaming the other person! Yep sounds like real life to me. At least the are people in the world and fiction who ca take stock long enough to pull their heads out of their asses!
Think that why i loved this one the best. The most realistic. Wasn't quite as bit as the other two but still plenty enough to get the juices going.
Shame the 2nd book could have almost not been needed. It was like a complete side story not really involved with the 1st or the 3rd! This one tied everything together nicely. Even with the side story.

a sweet story, good end to this series
This book was really well written, it is about a married couple who are struggling with the everyday living details of life and not able to reconnect. I thought JH did a great job in writing their story in such a short version. I loved both Connie and Mitchie, they were just cute together and I even got worried when they started talking about divorce, silly me, its a romance,it has to have an HEA. The book ended rather rapidly for me, but overall a sweet read.

The Jackson Brothers #3
This book is HOT. Connie wants another child. Marcus promised when they were dating that they would have a large family. But ever since his older brother died, Marcus has changed. He's not the man Connie married. She needs to get through to him. She visits a sex shop in another town and buys something to spice up their life. Will it work and bring her husband back to her?

I loved this book. It shows that you should always communicate with your spouse.

For me this was the weakest of the series. I found myself not really caring for Connie, she has been whiny during the whole series. I wished that Mitch would have grown a set and actually said what was bothering him, instead of sneaking around behind Connie's back and not trusting her.

The epilogue was good, I was glad that we got more info on all 3 couples.

There was just something so wrong in this story in that the characters never talked to each other, and the wife seems like she never matured beyond her teen years

The story was okay, and the sex scenes good, but the immature actions of the wife turned me off too much to notice much else. I just felt bad for her husband

A good story about a devoted couple who lost their way for a little while because of a family tragedy. Nothing that a good and honest conversation could have fixed in no time.

I usually love everything from this author and the series started well. But halfway through book 2 she lost me and never really got back my interest.
