Rate this book
Emma Anderson’s career was thriving. Her personal life too—but she knew—it was all a ticking time bomb until everything blows up. What happens then?

Losing the one woman he wanted more than anything, Carter Mason wasn’t ready to move on—or let her go. Even though he and Emma remained friends, deep inside, he longed and hoped to have her all to himself. He knew that Bass’s doom was looming and he’d make sure he’d be there for Emma.

Both wanted the same woman.
Both loved her to distraction.
Both made gargantuan mistakes to hurt her.

I loved Pamela's previous books , but I don't know , this one didn't meet the mark . Shock value and lots of hurt has always been the key factor in the Torn series . The entire book was literally based on both the leads' insecurities , jealousies and inability to face a situation .The book seemed as if the author just wrote a string of bad experiences for angst .

description

At one point I didn't even feel anything , absolutely nothing .
None of the feelings were described properly . I mean one moment Emma was hurt , two sentences were said describing her pain and then BAM! next shock-wave . I couldn't even feel a minute of remorse for the characters .

description

Spoilers and serious ranting ahead ,

I really get the fact that Emma[the heroine] was jealous of Nikki[jealous ex] and was frustrated with her , she had enough reason to be . But why would she leave Bass[the hero] when she knew and had confirmed from Nikki herself that the sex videos were Nikki's doing ?? I don't blame her , it is valid reason for breaking up. But she broke up solely due to it , and given the things they had already gone through , the reason felt weak .

description

And Bass was no good either . Yeah , he did stand up to Nikki ...once , but the rest of the time he did as she asked as if he were some sort of slave
description

Bass , instead of apologizing more or making Emma listen to him and workout the situation , just simply accepted the fact that she was done with him after just a paragraph of grovelling . Really ?? That's it ?? wasn't she his one true love and all ??

description

description

Then the way Emma just jumped in bed with Carter!!!

description

That was inexcusable and stupid and I really thought Emma was grown up and past such nonsense . Add to that the way she kept going back and forth between Carter[Emma's ex] and Bass. And she says she loves Bass.....

description

And Emma's hypocrisy , frankly , annoyed me . I mean she allows Carter to kiss her neck , cheeks etc all the time but Bass takes a call from Nikki and she suddenly sees red ?

description

The part where Bass was rumored to have died ...yeah I knew it and probably every other reader too did that Bass was very much alive. It was just unnecessary [but of course we do have to add every possible twist that exists , don't we?]

description

Oh did I mention that one day she was engaged to Carter and the next she was married to Bass, that too without even having the decency to tell Carter that the wedding is off ?? Yeah , she was that insensitive to Carter's feelings

description

And after marrying Emma for the sake of the baby {yup , you heard right } where was Bass's so called love when he was hanging out all the time with Kim[his co star in the new film] or whatever her name was . I mean yeah he was broken and hurt because Emma had slept with Carter , but he could have spent time with other people too right ?? And did he not have male friends ??

description

The ending did not at all make me feel like it was HEA . It was rushed and Bass didn't even ask Emma or talk to her about the fact that he thought that she loved Carter more than him . I liked Bass's character in the previous books . In this book ...

description

And Emma , well....

description

I hated Carter for what he did in the first book , I do not condone cheating in any way , but he has redeemed himself to an extent and I agree with him when he said
"I didn’t think I deserved this kind of punishment even after the orgy I participated in when I cheated on
her. What she did to me was far greater—far more painful—than the one I caused her."

I felt bad for him .

description

In fact even though I was #teambass , Carter is the only reason , I gave the book 1 star . He never gave up , persisted and continued to apologize even when Emma kept treating him like a punching bag .

I hope Dimitri and Lindsay's book is better than this one .

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! The angst and despair in this book about killed me! I love Emma and Bass and that's probably why this book got to me so much. I just want them to have their HEA!

The entire world is against them in this book. It's not just them making mistakes this time. It's Nikki, the media, having a long distance relationship...

Emma totally loses her shit in this book. She's not even acting like the same person, but there is a reason for this. Stick with it and it will be explained.

Bass, poor Bass. Life is hell for him; dealing with the prego Bi-otch (notice the capital B), Emma's insecurities, his parents suing him. Argh! You can't help feeling so bad for him. He really tries to make Emma happy, but his own insecurities take him down...

Carter. Such an a**hole in the beginning of this series, but wow does he make a one-eighty. I actual start to like him, just a little, maybe a pinch. He's still pining for Emma, still trying to get back with her, still so sure that they belong together. Are they?

Last book for Emma's story. See the outcome. Be prepared for heart palpitations, needing tissues and possibly a glass of wine. You're going to need it with this book. Holy crap, are you going to need it.

Pamela, can I get a 'I hate Nikki' shot glass? Next time I read this book, I'm going to need it to get through.

Omg. I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong. I did enjoy that she ended up with Bass, he was my hero. However somewhere in all of these novel, Emma got lost and seemed to bounce too much between Carter and Bass. In this novel she came off as a slut with loose morals, that wasn't the sweet girl that I fell in love with in the story. The whole fact that she almost slept with Carter was beyond me, I thought she was past her whole stupidity. The on and off again with both men drove me insane and made my stomach twist. I was just really annoyed, then when Bass 'died' she was frantic and mourning him, yet saying she was going to marry Carter, as if taking second best. Emma's whole character was destroyed for me in this one novel and even though as in real life, characters/people grow, she grew into something I truly disliked.

The ending of the novel was super rushed as well and what Bass did was just as stupid in my opinion. I couldn't relate to the ongoing idiocy from all the characters in this novel. It was just bad for me. Then when Emma miscarried, I was like 'omg, really?' because it just was too close to the other novel 'Lily's Mistake'.

While I know and love the author Pamela Ann, I couldn't enjoy this novel the way I'm sure she wanted me and her other readers to. I had an exciting satisfaction that Emma ended up with Bass, instead of Carter, hence the rating of three stars. Other than that, I felt this novel was lost in translation for me. If there is another novel about Bass and Emma, I can only hope it will redeem itself because the relationship between Carter, Bass and Emma was too totally twisted for me.

Love this series but how could u do that Emma after what Carter did and knowing how much Bass loves you!! I can understand her anger leading up to her mistake but Bass still did not deserve that.

In all honesty, this was a 2.5 for me. However, I am a fan of Pamela Ann and upped my rating because of my faith in her writing.

It was an enjoyable read up until 3/4 of the book and then I just got frustrated. I felt like I was experiencing whiplash as my mind was being whipped back and forth between characters and their actions.

So many things that took place in the last quarter of the book were unbelievable and annoying.

Pamela Ann you killed me again. The angst, oh my God. I didnt know what to do with myself and just kept praying that i got the HEA that i wanted. Thank you for granting my wish! I won't spoil it for anyone else that hasnt read this yet. My only complaint is that this book felt too short and slightly unfinished. I loved the ending, but it felt too quick. After all that angst i needed to feel like this was truly the closure and happiness that was needed. Emma went through hell and back, some of it her own doing. So i guess i am saying I just wished the ending would've shown that it was all worth it and that she was now truly one hundred percent complete. I just hope we get glimpses of her and her man in the other characters stories.

I'm totally disappointed with this last book in the series.
I'm hoping for great plot considering I'm waiting for months.
All I've got is a tantrum here and there between Bass and Emma.
It's exhausting!

Yeah so I am impatient and bought the book instead of wait for my copy from the author but it was so worth it.  This will be a straight forward review.  No synopsis because I know I have been telling you about this book for a bit now.

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

First things first I need to invest in a better cover/case for my iPad because it does not handle being thrown on the floor as well as I would have thought.  Bass and Emma's story has so many twists and turns I was looking for Dramamine just to finish.  Trust me I mean that will all due respect.  I read on Pamela's FB page that she didn't want this to be straight forward and clear cut as to who, if any Emma would end up with.  She actually convinced me that Carter Mason deserved a shot (for about 3 minutes then I threw my iPad).   I did feel bad for him but I think that poor boy had too many strikes against him.  To sound completely corny and quote a movie, Bass completes Emma and Emma completes him.  I wondered why Pamela didn't write a fire extinguisher into Bass and Emma's love scenes because they burned up the sheets.  I love the passion these two have for one another.  Even Nikki (no not me, the bitch in the book) could not interfere but she tried like hell.  I knew Bass would never cheat on Emma but what happened while they are apart in previous books wreaks havoc on these two.  Nikki just loved to rub it in.  Don't get me wrong Emma made her mistakes also (a really BIG one named Carter Mason).  That had me tearing up and I actually had to walk away from the book because I was disgusted, even though she and Bass had split technically.

The ending had me all over the place.  I was confused a bit when she came back from their island after finding Bass "alive".  I did not like the terms of their agreement but prayed and crossed every body part hoping for a good outcome.  I was sad for their loss.  I was very happy with the ending though.  Everyone has to start from somewhere even if it's a restart.  I was reminded of a song by Mumford and Sons "I Gave You All".  The music and lyrics always felt so passionate and dark.  The song may not evoke the same emotions from anyone else but it did in me.

This book had me on the best emotional roller coaster of my life.  Did I scream? Yes.  Did I cry? Yes. Did I pray to make it just stop? Yes.  Did I beg for more? Yes.  Am I a Basswhore?  HELL FUCKING YES!

Well I think you all know my feelings on this book pretty clearly.  If I can say one thing read the Torn series by Pamela Ann.  It passion, romance, love, hate, and how this author makes you invest feelings, REAL ACTUAL FEELINGS, for these fictional characters.

Bravo Pamela Ann...Bravo

3.5-4 stars.

As far as I know, there are two key chapters missing from the published version which has yet to be fixed as I write this review. One chapter, in particular, is crucial. But I'm going to write my review anyway since I don't believe it will in any way impact the ending of this series nor my views on this book.

I've read all of Pamela Ann's books. She's a guilty pleasure as I've said over and over again. Her books are the Harlequin Romance types. Not very original. Not earth-shattering. Sexy. And a good mindless way to briefly pass away the time - her books are relatively short.

She has her formula down pat.
Hot, rich H with a playboy rep = check
Hot, rich, sexy h = check
Love triangle = double check! (see description of H or h and apply that to the enemy too)
OTT drama = check

And like I've said over and over again, her characters' too formal dialogue bothers me. I'm certainly used to it by now and find it less jarring. But the beginning of each book - it's still a struggle to get the hang of it.

Cases in point...
"...I'd still love you and think you're the most beautiful creature I've ever beheld."

Without disconnecting our gazes, she dropped onto her knees, biting her bottom lip as she eyed me with perfervidlust while her hands were busy unbuckling my pants...(So maybe my vocabulary does not have her depth. But I swear I know no one person in real life who ever used that word. Maybe in historical fiction but not in real life...)

My lascivious thoughts got axed when I glanced at her.

...with my rabid c*ck poised to charge forth; ready to be sheathed and bathed with her sweet, honeyed ambrosia."

Don't you just wish for plain dirty sex talk?

As for the real story, there was just too much drama that it felt a tad forced - like it was there to ramp up the angst.

The biggest issues were external parties - Nikki and Carter. These two played a big role throughout the story and how it was all resolved in the end felt a bit too abrupt for me. And for all the drama that everyone had to go through, I'm not sure I will classify that as pure HEA. It seemed too anticlimactic for me.

Fixated on You is the conclusion to Emma’s story. Who is Emma’s soul mate? The gorgeous, sexy, A list actor, Bass Cole or the equally as gorgeous and sexy soccer player, and her first love, Carter Mason?

“You see, my heart had led me to loving two men. As much as I wanted to keep both, I had to choose one, the one I couldn’t live without.”

Fixated on You took me on another emotional rollercoaster. Nothing seems to come easy for Bass & Emma. Just when it looked like they were going to get their happily ever after, their world fell apart again.

“Do you remember when I came here, drunk off my ass at three in the morning, hoping you’d take me back and you told me to fuck off? …It feels like that now, but the situation’s reversed. …This is me telling you to fuck off, Bass.”

Of course my favorite man whore, Carter, has been waiting in the wings for months, hoping for this very moment, so he can swoop in and show Emma they are meant for each other.

“You and I are meant to be together, baby. You and Hollywood hooking up was my punishment and I have accepted that. But don’t you think it’s time to really see the bigger picture here, Em?”

Will Carter win her heart? Or will her heart always belong to Bass?

After all the drama these three characters have gone through in this series, the ending felt very rushed to me. I guess it’s supposed to be Emma’s happily ever after, but the reason I can’t give it more than 3 stars is because one minute Emma and her man are miserable, and the next minute they are riding off into the sunset together. I feel like I missed out on them rekindling their love. They just both decided, let's do this, let's be together, and that was it.

I would love to read a follow-up novella about Emma and her man, to see how they are faring in the future, and I am looking forward to getting glimpses of them in Lindsey & Dimi's next book, Unveiled.

I've waited for this and was beyond crazy when I finally got to hit my one click button. Bass and carter were always on my mind. Wondering who would win Emma in the end. I don't think I have ever been so confused over two men in my life. You get so consumed in each of their feelings it gets so hard to want just one. One minute you are all about carter then bass, then carter, then bass. It's crazy but I think I had my mind made up I was going to stick with team bass. I know carter loves her but he got scared and ran and cheated in Emma leaving the door open for someone to sweep In and love her and that was Bass. But Emma can infuriate your too, sometimes you wonder if she really knows what she wants or who she truly loves. I have never been more excited, nervous or even angry until now. I was happy, then seeing that the crap Emma was carrying with her I knew she was going to break, insecurities were about to gut her, that made me nervous not sure if she was going to crumble under pressure. Bass had me with this crazy grin on my face, I can't help it I am so drawn to him like a moth to a flame, he just does something to me and yes ok I smile with carter too crap those two just have me all kinds of crazy. I'm just going to have to come to terms with it....I'm so sorry carter I do love you and you tear my heart apart but I think Bass deserves Emma. Oh that is so hard to say but I truly believe that's were her heart lies.

I don't want Emma's story to be over. I know a few will be heart broken at the decisions made and some will be happy. But someone has to win. We win some lose some.

The author did an amazing job once again.

First of all I want to say how much in love I am with Bass Cole. :) with that being said...I felt terrible for Carter in this book too. I wanted to bitch slap Emma at about the half way part. All of these darn books just keep getting drug further out because no one can talk to each other. Then that leaves us, the fans, hanging at the end of the book waiting for the next one. I felt like I was all hyped up for this book because I wanted to see what happens to Bass and Emma.

I'm happy/disappointed with the ending unfortunately and that kills me to say this. I felt like the ending was way to abrupt since this is the last book of Bass and Emma. Maybe Pamela Ann will do a final book with ALL THE CHARACTERS of the series and we can see where they all are at and what happens to them. I feel like there is a lot of unknowns right now with these two. Not quite sure what to think of things.

I just know right now....I need a good stand alone book to read. Nothing that gets prolonged and drawn out over the course of books.

Finished Fixated on You. I loved so much of it. I loved falling in love with characters all over. Sadly however the ending for me wasn't enough. I feel like their story is unfinished and I want to read more of them ( those who have read know who I mean) I feel like with all the angst that was involved they deserved more closure or a couple chapter epilogue. Just to watch them fall back together and begin again. Pamela Ann Author your writing is without a doubt some of the best I have ever read and I have read A LOT Lol the way you connect your characters and how emotionally connected I become. All the tears and anger and passion makes the story that much more real! I hope to read more Emma with some closure in the next couple torn series books or can I hope for a Novella for her :) I have yet to read a book of hers that is not amazing and touching and absolutely captivating. I have read and re read all of her books. I highly recommend this Torn series be sure to have a box of Kleenex and a friend to share all the details with and cope together. :)

I am glad Emma got her HEA, but really the book left me wanting. The first half was going really well but then just puttered out. I also want to say that I kind of fell out of love with Bass, instead of manning up when he knew he needed to he allowed Nikki to invade his relationship with Emma. How did Bass really think this would affect Emma, cause most men I know would have waited to know if the baby was his before going doing those things with Nikki. Through out all the Emma books I have rooted for Bass, who wants a cheater but Carter's love for Emma allowed me to love him more. Pamela Ann is a fantastic author but I think in this book she dropped the ball a bit, I would have gladly waited a little bit longer for a stronger ending than the one we got.

It was good ,I did enjoy however I.did feel that the storyline was rushed and had too much drama and not enough explanation of the story in any great depth about Bass's family suing him or really much about Nikki, too many loose ends that weren't explained. on saying that it was a real page turner. I was disappointed when the end was only 77% on my kindle. Ending on a good note I would not hesitate to recommend any of Pamela Ann's books . I look forward to her next release and will continue to buy all her books.

(from the POV of a #TeamCarter girl)

*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*CARTER*

Review (CONTAINS SPOILERS)

TEAM CARTER! I LOVE CARTER MASON! #CARTERHOOKER #SOCCERTHIGHS

So...the build up to this book, for those of us who follow the whole Bass/Emma/Carter love triangle, has been a dramatic fight, the battle known as Basswhore vs Carterhookers.  We've all been so opinionated about how we wanted the story to go and so aggressive in defending our men.

Okay, so now I've gotta break it down.

The Backstory -

Emma loves both men.  Both men have did her wrong.  Both men are in love with her.

Oh, Pamela, well done, lovely lady!  I loved it!

This book starts with Bass and Emma back together again.  Things are rocky in their relationship because of Nikki (stupid bitch).  Because of the disharmony, they end up broken up. Again.  Of course Carter is always waiting in background for Emma to return to him.  She did, and I loved it.  I was all Yes! Yes!  But, Bass and Emma are true loves and end up back together in the end.

CARTER

I love Carter even more after this book, if that was even possible.  What a man!  After one mistake, he has always been there for Emma for everything she needed ever, anytime, anything, anyhow, always.  Emma finds out she's pregnant with Bass's baby, and Carter offers to raise it as his own (because Bass is presumed dead).  He buys a house and baby furniture and sets up a wedding, totally prepared to step into the father and husband rolls.  Emma then drops him like a hot potato, as usual, to go back to Bass.  My heart hurt for Carter.  Yes, you damn Basswhores, I do feel that Emma and Bass were meant to be together, but Carter is my choice.  And out of the 3 of them, I do feel Carter has matured the most of the series.  I cannot wait for Carter's book Damaged to read the rest of his story.

Carter has had my heart since the beginning.  I love his soccer thighs, his sex appeal, his bottomless love...I just hope loosing Emma is a pain he can make it through to the other side without it changing him too much.  I can't wait to see more of him playing soccer (professionally by his book I think) and, I'm sure, having lots of hot sex scenes...and hopefully finally having a HEA.

Let me start off by saying I have loved this series from the start. I am a angst junkie!! We all want to see who Emma will finally pick...Bass or Carter. I am team BC all the way. But Carter did win me over in this book. He was always there for Emma, no matter how many fucked up things she does!!

The book started off a bit slow for me. But in true Pamela Ann fashion it got wild and crazy! Emma is one freaky chic and I think that is why I like her. She gets down and dirty with Bass and its HOT!!! Don't get me wrong, I wanted to smack the shit out of Emma most of this book!! But if my man was having a baby with a skank I would be a crazy ass bitch too. This book picks up where the last left off. We get to see the reaccuring characters. I think I love Taylor as much as I love Bass.

Bass, oh my...sexy, dirty in between the sheets Bass. He loves Emma so much but things always find a way of getting turned around when your in the public eye like BC is. He has a hard time in this book and at one point I about lost my shit, but recovered thank goodness!!

The thing that I think threw me and other readers off was it ending at 78% and the rest of the book being a preview to another book. I thought there was a lot more coming. But once I got over that fact, I was ok with how the story went. I mean it kept me up until 3am so it must have been good. One minute I was like WTF then the next my heart was breaking. I LOVE Bass!! (have I said that yet?) I wish they would have talked things out a bit more, but then we wouldn't have had all the crazy ass angst that Pamela Ann gives us. 4 stars!!!

The author is putting out a free Christmas novella for those who felt like they didn't get the closure they wanted. And there are still 3 more books coming out in this series, here is Pamela's Facebook post:

"When writing FOY, I didn't want to do an epilogue because there's still 3 more books coming out (Lindsey, Amber & Carter's) in the series. Lindsey will somehow cover these "holes". But since everyone wants more closure, I'm doing the xmas novella. Carter's book will cover what happened with Emma, that call from Bass and how it all concluded. This is the tricky part about serials, you can't really get an ending until the very last book is written, and that's Carter's novel, Damaged."

Ahhh....where to start with this book.

This the continuation of Emma, Bass, and Carter Mason.

Emma and Bass try to make at go at it again, but with an upcoming baby, busy schedule, Emma's schedule and school, they try to do what they can to see one another.

The love Bass has for Emma is amazing. He's every dream come true. Even Carter has transformed into a wonderful man, if only Emma could make up her freaking mind.

When trouble is in paradise Emma is constantly going back and forth between Carter and Bass, this is the only thing that drove me nuts. I get she felt jealous, it's understandable, but that is where trust comes into play.

Bass has once again allowed his heart to get crushed by the one girl he swore would be his forever and once again who does she run back to...Carter Mason. Bass is realizing he was never going to be Emma's first choice.

When tragedy strikes, Emma is faced with a realization of what happened and who's to blame. Can Emma forgive herself for her actions, or will she be forever haunted?

The love Bass has with Emma is beautiful, earth-shattering love, if only she could trust that and trust in him.

When you lose the one you love, you're able to see things clearer and realize what you would do if you got your second chance. Can these two finally have their happily ever after?

Definitely a must read!

Happy with the ending but it would I agree with other reviews that it was rushed and lacked passion. I would have like to see them build up the relationship more rather then just have one convo and that was it. Emma lost herself in this book and I get that but it would have been nice to see her grow back to the secure person she used to be. Bass lost himself as we'll but there was not much insight to his struggles other then mentioning his parents, Nikki and stuff here and there. The possibility of the other women for Bass was just annoying considering he never wanted to be with anyone again. Carter was annoying as well, I would have like Emma to see him as the desperate fool he was instead of more. It would have been empowering for her if she learned to let go of him on her own and for her to recognize how much damage she was doing by allowing his flirtations. I hope we get to hear more about their HEA in the next book as there was not much closer in this one.

All in all I felt this book was a bit off from the others... The others were not rushed like this one. Maybe Pamela struggled with how to end it, I don't know. Still love her books and plan on reading more.

Fixated on you showed a new side of Emma . The passion between Bass and her was the foundation of the couple. Nikki turned their world upside with her pregnancy. A bitch remains a bitch this applies for Nikki. Torn between her past Carter and Bass her present , Emma suffers pangs of agony and jealousy . Bass seems to suffer in silence and is at a lost when faced with a raging Emma. Bass begging her to stay was a heart wrenching. Emma clings to Carter in desperation and Bass makes a final move to win Emma, unfortunately he realizes that Carter has seduced Emma back! From this instance Bass is in an abyss of hell. Booze and non stop partying. His death is announced through media , Emma is real dumps and needs solace in saying good bye to her dead love Bass. She regrets her lacks of courage and focus on her baby. Dramatic entry Bass who is alive and is in Greece. They get married and is expecting a baby, yet everything is wrong Bass is aloof and Emma is just surviving . The loss and hurt has bruised their lives and they are shattered by the miscarriage. Thanks God Bass confesses he still madly loves her and his wounds made him act in such stony way. All ends well .

For such an highly anticipated book, I was disappointed. Was very fed up with Emma running back and forth between Bass and Carter. If she claimed that her feelings with Bass was so strong she should have stuck by his side and not run back to Carter everytime!!! How could she agree to marry Carter before getting the confirmation of Bass's death?!? RIDICULOUS! Grow a back bone woman, being pregnant is not the end of the world! Sure, Bass was a dick too for being there for Nikki but I can understand why he done it since he needed to know if that was his baby or not first before cutting all ties with her. Although I was happy that Emma and Bass eventually got together in the end, Emma was harsh for ending things that way with Carter; I felt sorry for him despite the cheating asshole he was. Hopefully Pamela Ann will write us a proper ending for Emma and Bass so that us readers can say finally say goodbye to this couple. I, for one was not satisfied with the lack of details of the ending.

Gah!!!! What a ridiculously fabulous way to end this series! I will admit I was holding my breath at times. I inwardly begged and colorfully cursed Pamela throughout this book and series to please, please, please let my Bass and Emma have their HEA. Yes, I to am a BassWhore;) Proud of it too! Fixated on You is an epic roller-coaster of our strongest human emotions. Grief, envy, jealously, loathing, passion, angst and finally love. Pamela Ann did not disappoint. As usual my last 12 hours was filled with smiles, growling, muttering incoherently, cursing at no one in particular and finally joy. Thank you God! I feel I can finally rest. Pamela's unique way of story telling keeps you deliriously happy with her modern day Romeo and Juliet. I NEVER have to think about one-clicking her books. I am obsessed with this series and am very thankful to have had to opportunity to read it. I can't wait to visit them from time to time through her other books. Well done and kudos Pamela<3

I don't know where to begin! Pamela Ann.....you have brought me to tears, given me an ache in the pit of my stomach as well as my heart and given me great joy, all within the few hours it has taken me to read this book. I literally screamed, slammed things around on my desk and felt high levels of anxiety! You are an amazing author! You were able to suck me into this series and feel actual feelings for your characters. I am totally invested in them. I waited patienly for the release of this book. I commented and read posts on facebook hearing the 2 sides to the Emma love triangle. I will not spoil it for anyone who has not read it, but anyone that knows me, knows who my heart was with. I AM SO HAPPY! Thank you for envoking these feelings in me. You are one of my favorite authors, because of what you are able to make me feel. Can't wait to see what you have in store for me next!
