This book/video lecture will be covering a total of twenty chapters. And each chapter is structured as an answer to a question (or a “Q” for short). These are practical questions you’ve probably asked about networking at one time or another. Things like “how does traffic get through the Internet?”, and “can I really reach anyone in six steps?” are among the twenty.
Each lecture will cover one question. In order to simulate a course as realistically as possible, we choose Monday and Wednesday as the “lecture” days. So every week, two video lectures will be released: one on Monday, and one on Wednesday. Each lecture is further split into about four or five parts (Part A, B, C, …), to break up the learning experience for you.
Each video’s segments are structured to progress in mathematical difficulty. They start with a “Short Answer”, which has no math at all. Even with no mathematical background, you should be able to understand 90% of what is discussed here. Then, they move into a “Long Answer”, which has some math. Finally, there are numerical “Examples”, which work through some of the math.
