I thought this was a great read for Halloween. Some parts actually scared me. I'll read more by this author.

Hayley is the director of a group of actors. They are successful in their efforts. Hayley and her boyfriend Jack are going to celebrate their 1 year anniversary with a party, and when Hayley shows up to their apartment, she finds her boyfriend and best girlfriend murdered. The police capture the playwright for the murders. He admits doing it because he loves Hayley.

Five years later, Hayley lives in New York, and at the coaxing of her friend, starts a dinner theater. When her friends and fellow actors start dying, she wonders if Bruce has come back to torment her.

It was rather formulaic and predictable. the writing itself isn't harmful just dull. Don't waste your time on this one.
