Written 1997. This captivating book offers a quick and entertaining read. It presents a novel interpretation of the fountain of youth, interwoven with elements of mystery, murder, and the ghost. After growing up as an orphan, Grace eagerly anticipates reuniting with Veronica after encountering a striking resemblance at the mall. Veronica extends an invitation to Grace and her family to her estate for a summer stay, during which an unsettling series of events unfolds.

This book was dissapointing. I have another of hers and hopefully it will be better. I gave it 2 stars because it didn't drag but kept the reader curious, only to dissapoint at the end. It also had an interesting twist about the fountain of youth, plants, and blood. I guess it was more of an interesting take on vampires, but that was it. Really wouldn't recommend unless you're a diehard fan or want a simple fun read.

should never have read this. all it did was make me angry and I didn't even want to finish the book but no one had left reviews anywhere telling me what I wanted to know so I had to finish the dumb thing. definitely not my cup of tea.

One of the better books I've read in awhile. It's a nice slow build on the creep factor and is hard to put down.
