I am not a cat lover, in fact I don't like cats that much at all! So not not only was this story about a cat, but an ugly cat to boot! Thank goodness it was short! Im sure this was a bit scary for most people, but I read it in the middle of the night after not being able to sleep and didn't sleep the rest of the night! My eyes were wide open!

Mitch finds a stray kitty in an alley and brings it home to take care of the poor little thing. It has no hair and very big eyes and ears, but I guess that all kind of grew on Mitch. He gives him a piece of muffin and the kitty scarfs it down so Mitch desides to call him Muffinz. That day he takes Muffinz to work with him to see if his boss knows what kind of cat it is, but his boss has no idea other than to say he is ugly.

I don't want to go into anymore detail here because it would give the rest of the story away! You need to pick up this book and find out what happens for yourself; only don't read it in the middle of the night!!!

Mitch is coming home on a wet night, climbs the fire escape to get home but hears a noise.
He finds a cat behind a trash can and takes it home.

He then discovers the cat, who he names Muffinz, is not your normal average cat!

Where did Muffinz come from? Who knows. But this cat certainly makes an impact in the short time Mitch has it.

Another great short story from this author.

I thought Muffinz by Justin Osborne was a good quick read. I liked how Mitch rescued a cat from the cold even though it didn't look like a normal cat. Although he didn't expect things to happen the way they did, Muffin changed and saved his life. It was a good quick read.
