All Gregor wants to do is enjoy Valentine's Day with his boyfriend, Jordan. Instead, the happy couple has a dinner engagement with their parents, un-couple-like that is. Gregor could handle that...if he knew what his mischievous lover had planned for the night.
Warning: This is a whispery 3000 word short breath of sweet air that will have you smiling and reaching for a little sugar of your own.
3.25 stars Cute short freebie about Jordan and Gregor who are best friends and partners, a love affair that began way back in preschool. They have been inseparable for 20 years, *sigh* its romantic and sweet, I like to believe its forever. And hurray, two is always much better than one, in my humble opinion. Its Valentines Day, Jordan springs a surprise on Gregor he wants the parents to know they are a couple, finally. A small niggle I like these guys, more would have been great. I did love the ending it was very romantic.
I enjoy established couple stories and this adds in that they have been friends since pre-school. It's sweet and romantic a small smidgen of smexing. I was just surprised that they seem to have such a great relationship with their parents, I mean all the parents and the two of them meet for a dinner once a week and they don't know that they are a couple? really? Why did they hide it so long? Inquiring minds want to know. Why wait so long and keep up the two apartments and even going so far as driving in separate cars. I really wanted to witness the family dinner, because I just can't believe the families didn't have a clue or twelve. But, it was a cute little snack of a story and I enjoyed it.
A quick read (10 pages on my kobo) but actually didnt feel too rushed or abridged. We learn about Jordan and Gregor's history, from age 4, and their current situation, and how Jordan wants to resolve the stalemate. I suppose if I wanted more, it would be to see the results of their decision. Overall a nice sexy read for when time is short!
