Trapped for years around adults who thought they knew everything, Andria Buchanan started writing to keep herself sane and out of jail. Now, instead of fighting traffic and dealing with staff meetings Andria prefers to spend her days hanging out by the pool in a pair of yoga pants and a t-shirt, typing away at stories about young women who are completely capable of kicking butt, saving themselves, and rescuing a cute prince in need of kissing all without chipping their nail polish and still getting their math homework done.

When she's not working she's either on Twitter @AndriaBuchanan or chasing down one of her two dogs (aka The Not So Wonder Twins) who believe it's their life's mission to eat all her left socks.

I received this ARC from Entangled Teen.

I have to tell you, out off all three books, this was my favorite! I loved every minute of it. From page one, I was sucked right in and really screaming "Yeah, get em'!" Allie is faced with a tough decision right from the start. Does she risk starting another war and breaking a peace treaty that has taken a year to finally be signed, or does she sit back and allow those she loves and cares for be taken by the enemy?

*Sigh* I love books with tense situations, magical properties, and book boyfriends that capture your attention. I think I made that pretty clear with my list, but it bears repeating! I love everything about this series, it holds you completely captive and mesmerized with it's fast paced, action packed, kick you in the jaw twist and turns! Book three could not have come out fast enough for me! When my hands finally got a hold of it, I did a little dance and a shout of glee! (Nerd? Yes!)

Since book one Allie has been trying to get her friends home. Knowing her duty to those in the Nerissette, Allie is crowned Queen vowing to right the wrongs that have been in place while the Fate Marker reigned in her place. After beating the Fate Maker at his own game, Allie is finally ready to step into a brighter future with the people of Nerissette.

Agreeing to a peace treaty between her aunt Bavasama, Queen of Bathune, Allie hopes that this will regain peace amongst their borders, as well with the people of Nerissette. With the hopes of peace on the horizon, Allie still clings to some hope that she may be able to return her friends back to the World That Is.

Allie had once wished to return home with them, but now that she has finally found the father she desperately wished for and a love for a kingdom she never believed existed, Allie isn't sure if leaving is really what she should do.

As the book unfolds, Allie learns some bitter truths from her aunt that leave her wishing that the treaty they just forged, wasn't actually in place. When her aunt oversteps the treaty and attacks the dryads, setting the forest on fire, almost killing her best friend Mercedes, Allie's blood boils. Queen Alicia Wilhemina Munroe the First, the Golden Rose of Nerissette is declaring war, all bets are off, and if she has to march into her aunt's palace and rip the crown from her head, that's just what she is going to do....it's time to stop hiding behind fear and really fight for those who own her heart.

:)....I could give you the rest, but where's the fun in actually reading the book?? By now you all know I dislike spoilers, so I'm not going to give them, but I will tell you this rates higher then five stars in my book!! I love this series unconditionally. It has instantly become a favorite and if I was to ever meet Andria, I would squeal like a boy band fan girl and beg for her autograph! The Chronicles of Nerissette will truly sweep you away into a world filled with fear, greed, devotion, love, magic and undying friendship!

I received an ARC through NetGalley.

I love happy endings! I knew Infinity would end on a happy note, but that didn't make it any less fun or interesting to read. This time the story picks up 10 months after the finale of Evanescent. Nerissette is once again rebuilding after a terrible battle, but this time Allie isn't so sweet or patient about the consequences. She is out for revenge and she's bloodthirsty! Unfortunately, the rebuilding and the peace treaties are for naught, because her evil aunt, Empress Bavasama, attacks with all of the force that she has. Dragon fire and dryads with bows and arrows aren't going to be enough this time.

I have just adored this series! I don't think Infinity was the strongest of the series, but I still enjoyed it very much. Allie has shown a lot of growth over these three books. She's no longer that shy, unsure of herself, pushover that she was when she first got pulled into Nerissette. She does go through a rough patch at the beginning of the finale where she's nearly blinded by hatred, but luckily she has friends to remind her that that isn't who she is. She doesn't need to stoop her aunt's level in order to win. It's a cheesy sentiment, but it holds true for Allie. I just wish there had been more romance! Allie and Winston are adorable, and he's her voice of reason, but they barely get any page time together! Although I suppose since they spend most of the book in battle, that wouldn't be possible...

Now for the reason that Infinity wasn't my favorite of the trilogy. The plot is a bit repetitive, and is generally the same as the previous books but a bit darker. Characters who are gone, just won't stay gone, since no one wants to do the more permanent solution: death! Allie falls for a trap again, even though she's told it's probably a trap. People lie to her face and her instincts say not to trust them but for the sake of conflict, she does. She's just too willing to see the good in people that doesn't exist. I still enjoyed it, since there's plenty of tension and action, but I would have liked some more variation.

As it is though, Infinity was a great conclusion to a really fun series. Magical magic is magical and makes me smile, so I definitely would have been happy with more than the three short books that we're given. The ending is very happy since good trumps evil, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more of what happened after evil was defeated. There were a few plot threads that were carried throughout all three books that, while not dropped, didn't feel totally complete to me. I think an epilogue could have taken care of that.

Infinity (The Chronicles of Nerissette) by Andria Buchanan is book three and the thrilling conclusion to her YA fantasy series that follows Allie Munroe, Queen of Nerissette, and the foreboding prophecy of the end that we were left with at the end of book two.

Nerissette has been at war with Bavasama's army and when it seems like peace it at hand, the fight between Bavasama and Allie escalates and explodes. Leading to a story filled with action, drama, and suspense.

Iliked Infinity. It was fast-paced and had me eager to find out how the whole story ended. Though I will admit that Allie's personality and how she behaved in the beginning half of the novel annoyed me. True, part of the story, and emotions were running high especially after everything that's happened, but kind of wanted to shake her and tell her to get over herself.

My favorite parts were the moments between Allie and Winston. I love their romance. Just wish there was more of it! I also liked another heart to heart scene that Allie has with another character (Read to find out with who...). Also, the ending is pretty good. Just wish there was more! Would love to find out what happens in the future.

Overall, Infinity is a solid conclusion to what is a great magical fantasy series. Very much recommend.

This is the third book in the trilogy. Allie’s kingdom is now in the process of rebuilding and she has been convinced to sign a peace treaty with her aunt. But Allie has a lot of anger and resentment built up and humiliates her aunt in the process. Unfortunately, almost immediately after the signing, a series of devastating attacks begins, forcing them to make some very difficult choices. Allie faces her old nemesis and must make some difficult choices. She also must work on her relationship with her father, her friends, and her boyfriend. What will she give up to save her kingdom? The conclusion brings a satisfying end to the series.

In the third installment of the Chronicles of Nerisette, the war with Bathune ends in a peace treaty and her aunt Bavasama is visiting for the same. Allie, however, has her doubts on whether her throne is really safe from her power-hungry aunt and is cold and distant to her. The kingdom is just exhaling a breath of relief after the treaty, when attacks start happening over again and she has to prepare for another war - to crush Bathune for once and for all. Allie is constantly struggling with being a stern ruler and a kind one and this final book really tests her strengths. She doesn't know how to use the Relics, is human in a world of magic and creatures, and has to bear the responsibility of an entire kingdom at just 17. Not to mention, she is in constant worry about her mother who is trapped in The World That Is, on the other side of the mirror, a world inaccessible to her without the knowledge of the Relics.

The entire series has been such a great story and even the last one didn't disappoint. The writing was to the point, elaborate when necessary, and the pacing was good. The characters were defined well and it was interesting how each of them perceives fate. For Allie, it is nothing but superstition, for the dragons it is an enemy, for the people of Neris, it is a goddess - each have their own view of a divine power but there is peace (mostly) among the different races. It also showed that there need not always be cruelty in a war, even for the those who seek retribution. I was awed by how the author subtly put these lessons into the storyline. The ending was great - mostly an HEA, but open-ended enough to leave things to our imagination. Good book!

This is the third book in the Nerissette trilogy and definitely my favorite. First, although each book in this series pretty much can also be read as a stand-alone, I strongly recommend to read the trilogy all the way through. Not only for background information reasons, but it's fun to watch the main character, Allie, develop from a shy, out-of-place girl to an amazing, self-assured queen.

This book was simply an amazing ending to the series. It starts with a strong pace from page one and doesn't let up until the end. I especially love the way Allie now faces a choice between two worlds, two lives, and at the same time, tries to live up to the expectations of her friends. At the same time, she's faced with a devious and dark evil as well as the burden to save her own people and kingdom. She's faced with amazing choices, ones that made me route for her the entire way through, and I absolutely loved the way she dealt with them.

I definitely can recommend this book and the entire trilogy. The heroine is faced with real, teenage girl problems such as fitting in, insecurity, friends and even romance, but incorporates that fantastical strength that brings the necessary awe and wonder, which enables the reader to dream. I enjoyed the way Allie faces problems, shows uncertainty, and even makes mistakes -- but still, she's worth cheering for.

Lies, betrayal, war and death abound as Allie's aunt tries to take over the kingdom and the throne. Who can Allie trust? Will ruling as queen turn her into a bloodthirsty monster? What does Allie really want and what will Fate allow? Read to find out in this third book of the series. I received this book free to review from Netgalley. I enjoyed the series and highly recommend it.
