“The moment I met him my world changed, I don’t know those around me, I no longer know myself, but what I do know is that only I can save him.”
Lindsay, a teen girl from New York City, has recently moved to a small town outside Portland, Oregon. She meets Kim and Derrick who quickly become her best friends, but when she meets Ethan, who is extraordinarily mysterious and gorgeous, her whole world changes.
Avarie, a witch and an old friend of Ethan’s, helps Lindsay discover her powers and releases her ability to see the auras of those around her. Struggling to learn her new abilities and fighting her desire for both Ethan and Derrick, Lindsay will learn the truth behind both of them as they are fallen angels and she is the soul of the redeemer created to save those fallen who have been consumed by evil only if they are worthy of redemption.
There are many versions of ME. I'm a wife of an amazingly supportive husband, a mother of three beautiful boys that inspire me every day, a friend, a dedicated worker always looking to succeed, an author with characters and stories always on my mind and then there is Me. The woman that loves to stay up late and sleep in, takes ten minutes every morning before the kids are up to sit and have a quiet cup of coffee. The woman that loves staying up late with a good book and getting lost in the words. Enjoying a glass of wine with dinner to wind down from my long days. A person who is still a girl at heart, loving to smile, laugh and have fun whenever the opportunity arises. My favorite place is still the beach because nothing is more peaceful then listening to the sounds of the ocean against the shore. This is all a part of who I am and I LOVE being me!

Current projects: Risen ~ Book three in Fallen Desire Series
This book started off a little slow for me, but boy was I glad I kept reading. OMG the story just kept getting better. I found myself unable to put the book down! I had to finish it today.
Lindsay's character is strong and has a few huge decisions she has to make. This book is very descriptive and goes into great detail to give you the exact image of the surroundings. I love Ethan's Character and the connection he shares with Lindsay. I also love Derrick's character, no one is perfect and the author does a great job of giving depth to each character.
Many stories I find very predictable at times. This book by no means is predictable in any way! And the ending... can you say mother of a cliff hanger? I can not wait to read the next installment. This is a must read for any YA book fan out there!
Fallen Desire was full of amazing detail and scenes that play out so clearly in your head! The opening scene completely takes you in and you keep finding yourself wanting to know more and more about the characters and how they all fit into place. As Lindsey and Ethan develop throughout the story, you find yourself in a place of magic, mystery, and passion. This book has a little bit of The Fallen Series feel mixed with the easy read and romance of a sexy Twilight-type, but it has a whole new delivery to the reader with the addition of spells & auras, something that makes this book stand apart from most. I can't wait for the second book in June! :)
Fallen Desire will leave wanting more! This is a great story about finding ones path. In the book we meet Lindsay who lives a pretty good life. She has two wonderful parents who love her and a nice home near a beautiful creek. The story takes off when she is dreaming about a mystery guy. Whom she sees in real life the following day, she has never meet him before but feels a deep connection to him. She also has two amazing friends Kim and Derrick. Derrick wants to be more than just friends but, Lindsay is struggling with whom she really likes. Things always are so confusing when Derrick comes around. Anyways no spoilers here. As the book moves along Lindsay finds out a lot about her self and soon realizes she has to make some choices. I really like the flow of the book. I like that it did not rush but it gave us that information we needed to feel connected to the characters. I didn’t want to stop reading towards the end of the book because I was on edge the entire time wondering what was next to come. The book leaves you desiring more (lol I couldn’t help it). I am already done with the next book so look for my review on that. I think this is a really good young adult book that doesn’t need all the dirty sex in it for it to be a great read.
didn't know what to expect from this book and at start I wasn't sure I would continue because it's always hard to believe in love at first sight but then the story continues I fell in love with characters. lyndsey did annoy me a bit with chopping and changing between ethan and derrick. I was routing for ethan all the way what girl wouldn't want to save a dark troubled mysterious sexy man and yet derrick derrick derrick. frustrating. ..... so who wins. loved it!
this book for me was a little slow at the beginning ,though don't get me wrong it was an awesome novel . It was very in depth trust me you feel as if your living the parts as the story is told ! this would make an amazing read outside in the fresh air, to make it seem even more real ! check it out don't be shy :)
I read this book in 3 days, this book held my attention from the first page... i love the innocents of young adults, this book is a must read...Cheers and holding my breath for June 15th when book 2 comes out, again this is a must read
The Fall Desire Series by N. L. Echeverria is a blindingly ravishing and utterly empowering story like no other. I was immediately drawn in by this painfully raw, sensually heart-pounding, and disturbingly exhilarating mix of discovering what your true purpose in life is, watching your world explode into an existence like no other, and then having to fight for yourself and those you love with every part of your being. Talk about intense! There was such an instant attraction to this storyline that I couldn’t pull myself away from it. Once my heart stepped into this story, I had to see it through.
I felt like I held a lose bond to Lindsay. Her desire to be close to nature, to feel its warmth, to sense its ability to center, and to draw peace from it is exactly what I find when I look inside myself. Through various circumstances in my life, I have come to draw deeper and deeper into myself for peace, for comfort, and for reminding myself of the things that matter the most. Years of being quiet have helped to make me more sensitive to those around me. I would easily understand Lindsay’s thoughts and feelings throughout this part of her journey. They were the same thoughts that would appear in my own mind. Of course, her life and her purpose weigh heavily upon her.
Thankfully, she finds friends who are fiercely devoted and will do anything to help her. She also finds Ethan who perfectly completes her and grounds her like no other. He is the missing piece of her soul that she will desperately need to see her purpose through to the end. Their love is unreservedly intense and soul-satisfyingly complete. He helps to guide her into her destiny and along the way she transforms him into what he was always meant to be.
I was captivated by the loyalty and the love that Lindsay’s friends offer her. Only in the past few years have I even been able to glimpse such qualities in the people that have come to be my friends. An old adage says that with age comes wisdom, but I would say that with a pure heart comes wisdom because only with a pure heart can one truly see and understand the difference between right and wrong. That is not to say that those with pure hearts are perfect. In fact, it is only through and despite our flaws that we can honestly comprehend what it means to be truly wise.
While I very much enjoyed this story, I was a little hesitant about the length and degree that Lindsey and Ethan take their relationship in such a short time. I can appreciate her needing him close and drawing strength and love from him, but for a young adult book, the pace was a little too quick for me. The element of magic played a unique role in this story. I was surprised at how it was interwoven, and I wasn’t expecting it at all. Surprising twists like this breathe unexpected chills into an already adrenaline-laced plot.
I was completely mesmerized by the strength and depth of their bond. It served as a cornerstone from which Lindsay was able to confidently grow and transform into what she was born to be. He became her inner strength until she was strong enough to stand on her own with him by her side.
N. L. Echeverria has taken me by surprise with her awe-inspiring and beautifully enchanting story of destiny and hope. I very much want to know how the next part in Lindsay’s journey progresses. I look forward to seeing what new adventures Lindsay finds herself in!
I am having issues rating this book. Some I loved other parts I didn't like. 3.5-4 stars.
The book starts off with Lindsay having a dream about a boy. She feels instantly attracted to him in a way she has never felt before. After waking she heads off for the last day of school before summer break. She can't stop thinking about the guy from her dreams and just floats through the day. On her walk home, she is caught off guard when someone says her name. She turns around it is him, the guy from her dream. But he isn't real, this can't be the same guy.
After talking to him for a minute, she continues her way home and noticed he just disappears. She lays down on her bed to think about the dream and meeting Ethan when he suddenly appears in her room. She agrees to go to a party with him that night.
At the party Ethan runs away after a heavy make out session between the two and she is taken home by Derrick. Derrick has always flirted with her since moving to Oregon but she has never really felt anything for him. That is, until Ethan appears in her life. Now she is drawn to two guys and must choose who she wants to be with.
The beginning of the story is extremely repetitive with descriptions. There really isn't any dialogue and struggled to get through it. After you get past about the first 20% and really starts picking up. Once the story finally started, I couldn't put this book down.
I loved the connection between Ethan and Lindsay. I felt like they truly connected on a deeper level. Ethan never pushed her to feel a certain way or tried to influence her with sex.
I did not like Derrick and didn't understand her feelings for him at all. She was near him for months and never felt attracted to him but all of a sudden Ethan comes into her life and she has a hard time keeping her clothes on around Derrick.
This does end with a bit of a cliffhanger. I definitely can't wait for the next book in this series. Fallen Desires is a great paranormal read.
This book is about a girl Lindsay and her destiny. She dreams of a boy that she is so attracted to. When she wakes she can still feel his touch, his kisses on her lips, and feel of his skin. She thinks about him all day. She just moved to this new school 2 months ago and has a few good friends, Kim and Derrick. While walking home from school someone calls her name, she turns around and there is the boy she dreamed about. Can he be real or is she just seeing things. No there he is and his name is Ethan. She can’t believe he is real and she is talking to him. They start getting to know each other and she realizes what she felt in the dream is real and he feels the same way. The only problem is she feels something for Derrick also. It isn’t the same or nearly as strong as what she feels for Ethan but there is something there. Then Lindsay learns something and it changes everything. Ethan and Derrick are both fallen angels. Only Ethan is also a demon. Lindsay is the only one who can save him and the others like him that no longer want to be evil. She loves him so much she will do what ever it takes to save him. Ethan’s friend Avarie helps release Lindsay’s power so she can learn to use and save Ethan. Derrick doesn’t think Ethan or anyone like him deserves to be saved. He is helping Lindsay learn to use her powers but not so she can help save Ethan. He has other motives.
I loved this book right from the beginning. Angels vs. demons and good vs. evil, but everything isn’t that simple. The emotions Lindsay feels for both of them and how they feel about is amazing. I love how there is no simple answer. How she wants to help Ethan so much that she is willing to do whatever it takes. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.
This book fascinated me with its premise, angels and demons, good and evil, the eternal struggle. The heroine, Lindsay, is a seventeen year old who has been sheltered and protected. She is, in a word, naïve. She has recently moved to a small town, and is just making friends and starting to feel comfortable. Along comes Ethan who is mysterious and moody. There is an instant connection between them, but Ethan holds himself back.
Derrick, a friend she has made from school, is also attracted to her, and a love triangle is formed. But Lindsay isn’t who she thinks she is, not exactly. And neither are Derrick or Ethan. Lindsay has a role to fulfill and her destiny is wrapped up with the boys. The ending leaves you wanting more and looking actively for it.
However, the first third of the book was confusing, overwritten, convoluted and, well, boring. It was incredibly hard to get through and I was grateful when the story evened out and the actual story progressed. Once you get through the dross, the actual story is fresh and fun. If the first part of the book was cleared up, this would rival any great novel.
I would love to give this book four stars, but the beginning made me honestly give it a 3.

This was a very different book for me to read. I found it a little slow to really get into at first, but by the time I was, I was really getting enthralled by the characters and the storyline and I found I was half way through my book. I'm now ready for the next part in a very entertaining series. The Fallen Desire series.

This was a very different book for me to read. I didn't like how easy it was for the characters to tell each other " I love you" all the time... the heroine said I love you to her supposed soul mate yet was almost having sex with another character who's charms were suppose not to affect her everytime they were together which was almost all the time...Anyways I feel that it is missing character development on how and why they fell in love not just out of the blue.... no chemistry, too immature so I couldnt get myself to read the second book which I hope it's better than this one but I wont know became I won't read it.
This story brings Lindsay into a world of fallen angels. She is young but very mature. She is torn between Ethan and Derrick. Both of whom are fallen angels but on different sides. She is given a destiny to fulfill but is continually torn between what is right. This is a very well written story full of emotion and hard choices. This is not your typical happily ever . It may leave you mad at Ms. Echeverrai but keep on keepin' on and get your hands on the next. You will have to continue the story. This is only the beginning!
Loved it. A little bit twilight but not. Def not an imitation but things reminded me of twilight lol even after all this time !! Great book. Well written. Can't wait to see where it goes. Glad I can start book 2 immediately!
