A Lover in Disguise...

When a stray dog follows Marie home after saving her from a vicious mugger, she doesn't know her new furry friend has a secret. Unusually tame and friendly, he quickly becomes her confidante, and bedtime companion. But when her night-time fantasies suddenly become surprisingly realistic, she starts to wonder: is her gentle nocturnal lover merely an erotic dream? Or can even a legendary monster sometimes want to be a house-pet?

Warning: This 5,000-word short story contains sex toys, a lonely librarian and a tender dream-lover! For adults only.

Since this is a novella, I will not bore anyone with a 1000 characters review... I'll just grade on different parts of the book.

Writing: 6/10
The writing was pretty good. In fact, the only thing that annoyed me was that the author used same words a lot.

Plot: 5/10
There wasn't really much of one, but what do you expect when the book is 14 pages long?

Characters: 6/10
Those that were, were believeable, but the MC (whose name I have already forgotten) annoyed me a bit.

Sexual content: 7/10
Was well-paced, and it didn't feel like the author was hurrying through it. Have read better, but I have also written worse.

All in all opinion: 6/10
A good read, but if I had been a novel, and not a novella, I wouldn't have bothered finishing it. It was pretty predictable, but a good read.
