Rate this book
She’s the timid lamb. He’s the ferocious lion. What was she thinking for walking directly in his path, or did he secretly hunt her for his own gain?

Julie Jones is a twenty-six year old lingerie buyer trying to start her career and her life after a not so pleasant past. Michael Summers is the new president of the company trying to make a better name for himself by using his privileged background and old connections.

When an ice storm leaves them stranded in a hotel together, they realize there is more kindling than the roaring fire in the fireplace. Giving into their desires they spend the night together. Julie unsure of what her actions say about her, she tries to push her worries aside. She wants Michael more than she has ever wanted anyone and that scares her.

Michael needs Julie, but he knows his troubled past isn’t good enough for her. Instead of telling her the truth he blows her off leaving Julie crushed and heartbroken.

Can he get her back before it’s too late, or will their pasts prevent them from being together?
