I really wanted to like it. I did. I thought it was a great premise for a story...I just couldn't get over the elementary style of writing. It drove me crazy.

I recently discovered this author because of her Scandalous series, which I enjoy very much, so I wanted to read something other written by her.
This book was ok, nothing spectacular, but also nothing bad. I think I would give it 2.5 stars if GR would have this option.
I couldn't connect with the characters and their lifestyle and the story seemed sometimes unbelievable or better yet superficial.
At the beginning the story concentrated on Savannah and Logan and how perfect their love was. Sometimes it all sounded like a soap opera. This perfect love lasted until the moment Savannah discovered that Logan cheated on her.
She immediately left him and decided that she was done with him. I don't think that I would be able to do this after a relationship of four years. At least I would need some explanation/closure, but there is nothing after their breakup, even though Logan tried to connect her. For Savannah the whole relationship was just over and she concentrated on her work.
Trough her work she meets Kayden Knox. Towards him she felt, I wouldn't call it insta-love (even tough Savannah admits falling for him), but I would say insta-lust.
They spent some time together (of course this included hot sex, after all he is a hot (rich) cowboy) and they decided that they both want a relationship, even tough he is the guy who says, he doesn't do relationships and she is the girl who says she is done with relationships. This part of the story was for me a bit fast forward and I'm afraid I missed this insta-connection.
This book is part of a series and I I'll give book 2 a try only because I want to see if I can understand their behavior/actions and if I can connect to them. Like I said the story wouldn't be bad, but for me there are parts missing.

I'm so bored right now , it's all about superficial rich people with nothing better to do than shop and party and they have the best jobs and the best boyfriends until something stupid happens to them , then it's like the end of the world . It's way to perfect for me

Sometimes a book name just jumps out at you… and “Irresistible Desire” jumped out and smacked me in the face. How perfect is this title? It sums a good romance novel up in just 2 words. I was hooked from just that. I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover or name, but I have to admit that this one grabbed my interest.
“Irresistible Desire,” is the story of Savannah, a beautiful young lady with the world at her feet. She lives in LA, has superstar parents, works at a great magazine, and has an amazingly hot fiancée that she trusts and loves very much.
But that doesn’t mean the rug can’t be pulled out from underneath you.
Savannah’s world crumbles around her after finding her jerk of a fiancée in bed with another woman. And, it didn’t help matters any to find out that he had been this way all along. While I was reading this I was literally sick to my stomach. My heart was pounding and I think my dog who was laying by my side was genuinely concerned for me… lol! That dirty bastard! I was left feeling heartbroken as well.
Savannah’s heart is broken, her trust shattered and she swears she will never open up to anyone again. But a few months ago she helped interview a star for the magazine’s cover story named Kayden Knox. He was 6 feet 4 inches of the manliest man she had ever seen. No one could resist him, but he was a self-proclaimed playboy and she was engaged. Something was there between them, but it was probably just her imagination. She put him out of her mind until he reached out to her expressing his concern over her breakup.
I’m thinking it wasn’t her imagination….
Kayden (btw, I LOVE his name) is one of the most eligible bachelors around, but he is seriously making some moves for Savannah. What will she do? Have fun and try to forget her ex-fiancée?? You only live once…. And Kayden has made it clear he plans to please her like no other before.
But what happens when one night turns into more? They are both scared and edging close to something they don’t know how to handle. The relationship between Kayden and Savannah is seriously hot! They were very attracted to each other and their many (or should I say many, many, many) times to get each out of each other’s systems only makes them want each other more.

Wow, if that won’t melt your panties off, I don’t know what will!!! I soooo enjoyed this book. I loved the author’s writing style very much. It is part of the Savannah trilogy and the ending will leave you anxious for the next one. I give this book 5 stars for the story, characters and steaminess. I also give it 5 stars for giving me a craving for some hot fudge sauce…. ;)

The reviews are really positive for Irresistible Desire but I have to go against the majority because I found the book boring.
If you read for large quantities of hot sex then this is the book for you. If you want a good plot then don't bother. I kept expecting Danielle Jamie to get into the meat and bones of the story but I just kept getting the same descriptions of outfits and other superfluous information. I also quickly got sick of hearing how amazing the sex with Kayden was.
In addition, the break up with Logan took too long. It was about a third of the way into the book (maybe even longer) before we progressed past his cheating, which we knew was going to happen because of the book blurb. The rest of that third was useless info about her going clubbing and their relationship etc.
This book was definitely more erotica than romance but if you like that and can get past the slow start than you might like Irresistible Desire. In my case, I might have enjoyed the sexy bits more, if I wasn't already loosing all interest.

4.5-5 Stars!!!
WHOA this is HOT HOT HOT!! If you like seriously erotic but tastefully done hot sex....this is definitely a read for you.
I read this book a while back but comes to find out, I am positive it wasn't this book. So since I moved on to the next book already and the anticipation of book 3 is happening as we speak I had to read this NOW and holy weasel tongues I couldn't put it down.

Savannah Livingston is a beautiful young women with an amazing job, music mogul parents, and a sexy ass, successful boyfriend. Perfect right? Well, nope. Savannah's world comes crashing down when she finds the love of her life, the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with, in bed with another woman. WTF?!? RIGHT!
Logan Sanders was Savannah's amazing boyfriend of four years. While yes, he was a bit boring since he was always working and trying to make his business a success...she loved him with everything she had. UNTIL he became....Logan Sanders......the douche bag of ALL douche bags....the KING DOUCHEBAG!
"Kayden Knox doesn't do the girlfriend thing and secondly, I did the whole boyfriend thing and had my heart ripped out of my chest and shattered into a thousand pieces."
While working for the magazine Envy, Savannah gets to meet some pretty amazing people. While working on The Most Influential Men feature, she meets Kayden Knox...THE MAN. While she gets her first look at the sexy 6'3", green eyed, sex good...she can't help but be pulled in under his spell BUT he just doesn't do the whole relationship thing....BUMMER! It also doesn't help that he seems to be under hers as well. Thing is...Savannah is too faithful and in love to do anything about it.

After her life spiral down and HUGE spiral staircase (not really) she doesn't plan on Kayden making her feels things she swears she would never feel again. I really loved the relationship these two instantly formed. They were SO hot together.... I actually think Kayden made my panties disappear while he was looking at Savannah. They both don't expect to feel things that they do with each other....and its not just sex...while to me, that would be A OK!
The writing was great. It was fast paced but not too much where it missed key parts. The characters were extremely likable and I connected with them perfectly. I felt as if I knew each individual character without the author spending five hours explaining....not easy to I might add.
Here is what made me kinda take .5 pts away from my review. I wanted so much to like Logan. In the beginning, while he was yes, a bit annoying...he was still really like able. In one scene when Savannah is with him at his place and the beach, the way he looks at her and talks to her made me feel like he really liked her. I hate hate hate cheating.....I know the whole point of the book was about him being a douche but I wish she would have made him an extremely unlikable character from the start.
Kayden Knox is perfect. The way he treats everyone from the get go is truly a Southern gentlemen style. Plus...he takes the everything is bigger in Texas saying to the max. He had me melting in my seat with his sweet gestures and his kindness. Plus..HE SOUNDS HOTTT!!!!
"For the first time in a very long time Savannah, I feel speechless. Just looking at you makes my mind go haywire. I'm incapable of finding the right words to say to try and explain what I'm feeling right now. Its as if all common sense flew out the door the minute I saw you dancing on my bar tonight. At that moment I knew I would do anything, say anything to get you beneath me and have the pleasure of seeing that sexual satisfaction on your face. Knowing I put it there and that only I am capable of making you look this way...Its over-whelming to say the least"
This book is definitely EROTIC ROMANCE...there is no doubt about that. There is A LOT of sexy scenes that will make you squirm. I highly highly recommend this to anything that likes a hot read. It is a great story with lots of emotions. It is definitely different then a lot of books out there. For one of the first times, the lead girl character is strong and sassy. She wont take crap from anyone and has a seriously awesome best friend Brooklyn. You wont be disappointed with this read!

What did I think..... Amazing! This book was wonderful for many.. MANY different reasons. Because I hate summarizing a book in a review-- I won't lol... But I'll start my reasons for loving this book from the beginning. For starters--Savannah--FINALLY. She is a wonderful breath of fresh air. Savannah is strong, independent and her own person. I get sooo tired of the whiney female leads with no backbone or original thought. Then we meet Brooklyn and Reagan and I love them both! The three of them together are a blast and it adds fun to the novel that reminds me of my own friends. I loved it!
Now Logan... ((POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT))
The one thing I really liked that author Danielle Jamie did was when she created the relationship between Savannah and Logan. In most cases the "bad guy" is immediately made to be bad. If there is a cheating boyfriend, he's shady from the start. In this case we got a chance to know them together, and love their relationship. This made it that much harder to endure the cheating scandal when it all came out. You felt the heartbreak, rejection and betrayal that Savannah was feeling. The feelings she felt were real and as a reader, we had a chance to grieve with her over that... SCUMBAG!
Oh yes... And what do I think of Kayden Knox, you ask?
Um... Strong, Compassionate and well... Sexy as helll!!!!
What can I really say but that I frickin LOVE him!? He's a fantastic male lead character and I love that there is more to him than just a sexy billionaire. We find out that there has been some past heartbreak that makes me longing to know more.
The book has a great mixture of fun, heartbreak, and downright steaminess! The sex scenes were HOT and you felt a real connection between them.
Overall-- this book was an amazing read and left me wanting more!
Would I recommend this-- HELL YES I WOULD!
And I already have ;)
I can't wait to dive into the sequel and read more of what Author Danielle Jamie has to offer!!

The one thing I really liked that author Danielle Jamie did was when she created the relationship between Savannah and Logan. In most cases the "bad guy" is immediately made to be bad. Gah... this book drove me crazy. I kept going though hoping it would get better but no, sadly it didn't and so I DNF'd at 60%. The characters just seemed so immature and superficial and I couldn't get to grips with the writing either. There was just so much superfluous detail that left me skimming the pages looking for juicier bits. I wanted swoon worthy romance. I wanted to be swept off my feet but it way only at the half way mark that this couple had their night of passion, having only met once before at a magazine interview, a good few pages before this. I just didn't feel any connection to the couple as individuals and I definitely didn't buy into the connection between the pair either.
Unfortunately this was one of those books where: head + wall = bang

3.5 Stars!
A good starter book. Savannah is the kind of girl I like... takes a hit, but doesn't wallow in her own self-pity. Kayden is hot and yummy. I do love the friendship between Savannah and Brooklyn. All girls deserve a friend like her.
This is Danielle's first book. I look forward to watching her grow, and reading more about Savannah and Kayden. :)

Despite editing the book though out in my head. it had a good story line. I wish savannah and Logan had more of an argument when she busted him

Wow! What can I say...
I had heard about this book many times before and I knew that I had to get my hands on it. I had (and still do) so many books to get to and read that I decided to leave Irresistible Desire aside until I was ready to give it my full attention.
Not too long ago, Danielle approached me to read and ARC copy of Inescapable Desire so I knew it was time to tackle this book.
Like many have said before me, the title and cover just jump out at you and beg for attention. The title describes the book to a tee!!! Irresistible? Yes. Desire? FULL OF IT!!! I was so in love with this story that I could not put down my kindle for the life of me.
If y'all haven't read the book yet (which is absurd), Irresistible Desire is the story of Savannah, a 24-year old woman who has the world at her feet! Irresistible Desire is one helluva book! The storyline was so good, the amount of drama was just enough, and the angst was present but not overwhelming.
Savannah, I really loved her! She was young, smart, classy, funny and fun! I did not once get annoyed by her attitude or personality. I was so impressed by the way she handled the situation with Logan and her breakup. She stood up for herself and knew that she didn't deserve someone like that. You go girl! Her character was well-developped. I did not find that she was fake or that she went through her feelings too fast- everything was realistic. I felt so bad for her when she found out about Logan's ways. She did not deserved to get treated in such a way because all she did was admire and love him so much. The way she talked about him was ridiculously cute and I know that getting over something like that is not easy so I really like the way she handled herself in the book. Even when she met Kayden, she never once pushed him away or acted too hard to get, she knew how he made her feel, and she accepted it. She might of had a few doubts along the way, but that's normal given the heartbreak she had just lived.
Kayden fucking Knox. Did I mention that he has the sexiest name ever? No. Well, I'm saying it now. HE HAS THE SEXIEST NAME EVER!!!
What a sexy, sexy man. My body was ready as soon as he walked through the doors of Envy Magazine. I could feel his aura of pure hunkiness and sex from the book. He just screamed sex appeal and I was ready to jump my kindle then and there and get a piece of that sexy man. At first, Kayden seemed to be the total playboy and player with a fear of relationships and commitment, and indeed he was, but that all changed when he laid eyes on Savannah. After their wild weekend, Kayden (& Savannah) knew that it wasn't only a one-time thing. He knew that he would be craving and wanting Savannah, always! Their chemestry was amazing and their sex was just...... it was just.... HOT. Steamy. Sexy. I couldn't get enough of Kayden Knox so I really understand how Savannah felt. He was so compassionate and understanding. He was sweet and romantic. He said all of the right things. He really deserved to have someone like Savannah who could love him and never break his heart, and vice versa. Their relationship developped quickly, but they took their time in developping feelings and expressing them.

I had heard about this book many times before and I knew that I had to get my hands on it. I had (and still do) so many books to get to and read that I decided to leave Irresistible Desire aside until I was ready to give it my full attention.
Not too long ago, Danielle approached me to read and ARC copy of Inescapable Desire so I knew it was time to tackle this book.
Like many have said before me, the title and cover just jump out at you and beg for attention. The title describes the book to a tee!!! Irresistible? Yes. Desire? FULL OF IT!!! I was so in love with this story that I could not put down my kindle for the life of me.

Irresistible Desire is book one in Danielle Jamie’s Savannah Series, this book was a brilliant introduction to what is clearly going to be a very steamy love story. This book although setting the scene for the rest of the series still manages to draw you in and make you love the characters from page one, in some instances it’s love to hate those characters but nevertheless Danielle Jamie wrote them well. Their development throughout book one is quick but it doesn’t leave out any detail it just makes you want to know the characters better. This book is very well written and edited which made it easy to read the book just flowed so well that I didn’t even realise it was ending when it did and then I wanted more. I’ll be honest and say that I am officially addicted to Kayden Knox! He is so sexy, he’s pretty much every woman's fantasy rolled into one man. He’s a billionaire, cowboy that can sing and act, not only that but he cares about helping people and he’s dynamite in bed! after reading Kayden you will need a change of panties AND a cold shower or two.
Savannah is the luckiest woman ever. She’s not only got famous parents but she has a beautiful apartment, a fantastic best friend and a great job. She’s the assistant editor at ‘Envy’ magazine and she and her boss Eloise are doing interviews for ‘2012’s most influential men’. Kayden Knox knocks Savannah off kilter from the moment she meets him in that interview, she’s completely used to famous people growing up with famous parents but there’s something about him that draws her attention, its clear from the beginning that he’s going to be special.
Brooklyn Bennett is Savannah’s best friend, she’s amazing, she has no brain to mouth filter, she’s sassy and funny and totally the devil on Savannah’s shoulder, what more could you want from a best friend, she’s also kind, understanding and very protective of Savannah. Everyone should have a Brooklyn in their lives.
Now Logan Sanders, what can I say about him he’s a complete A**hole, you can tell from the beginning that there is something hinky about him. He doesn’t appreciate what he has and completely takes it for granted.
Overall this book had me addicted from beginning to end, I’m now off to start book two. 5 Stars!

I LOVED this book! I was totally drawn into it by chapter 2 and clicked with the characters straight away! I love Savannah and Brooklyn, they are great friends and their sassyness and humor make it so easy to love them! It was equally great that Danielle made the male BFF a metro-sexual instead of the usual 'gay best friend' it was something new that worked really well, Reagan is a brilliant character!
Throughout the book, it opens up every emotion in your body making you feel the heartache and happiness! Anticipation for what's going to happen with Savannah and Kayden makes it a page turner and you can really feel the undeniable chemistry between them and that builds the passion and makes your pulse race at the steamy scenes!! Savannah is the only child of a country singing duo. She is no stranger to the limelight and how Hollywood is full of vultures. She lives her life as low key as possible, surrounding herself with good friends and family. She's in a long-term relationship with who she thinks is the love of her life. Too bad she learns (at the most inopportune time) that he is a lying cheating bastard!
In walks Kaden Knox. Kaden is a playboy in every sense of the word. He doesn't do relationships but something about Savannah makes him want to live in the now and see what happens. This book mainly centers on their whirlwind courtship and the most amazing weekend they've ever had. This book had me craving chocolate covered strawberries and fudge! HOT!
Of course Danielle leaves us with a bit of a cliffhanger! GRRRR! Will have to start book 2 to find out what that's all about!

Awesome!!!! Kayden Knox quickly worked his way up to #2 book boyfriend, only behind Christian Grey. Any man that will dip you in public for all the world to see is a keeper in my book! The quickly budding love affair between him and Savannah and the awesome friendship between her and Brooklyn make this book everything you love to read: laughter, anger, sadness, betrayal and new love all wrapped in a pretty package- highly recommended!

I know this book/series isn't perfect, there's a lot people could pick holes in, however it's obviously what I needed to read right now and for me it's been a really enjoyable read I've loved every bit of it, I'll be starting book 3 today :-)

How long can you fight the irresistible?
This is my first Danielle Jamie book and I really enjoyed it, I read it in two settings and just couldn't put it down. This is the first in the Savannah series and wow, it is hot and irresistible! It is fast paced and energetic. I love that not every second is described, the "later that night" or "3 days later", keeps it moving! The characters are described well and very relateable. And now a bit about the story...
Savannah has landed a killer job, she is an assistant editor at Envy magazine. A great opportunity for someone just out of college! Set in LA, Savannah is used to the media circus, having country signing stars for parents. She is excited to work for a well known magazine and not the paparazzi she is always trying to avoid. Her current assignment is to help her manager with the Most Influential Men of 2012 edition. Her social life is also booming she has been dating Logan for four years, her best friend Brooklyn has been by her side for years, and Reagan, who she works with, rounds out her close group of friends. Except Brooklyn can't stand Logan, as the reader I'm not sure I like him either... in fact I swear when she decides to surprise him late one night, after a night of clubbing with Brooklyn, I'm sure he won't be alone... Give this book a try and see what you think of Logan and the gorgeous men being featured in the Most Influential series!

- "Yeah, he's freaking hotter than hot, but he has the personality of a ninety year old man," she says, rolling her eyes.

I was afraid this would be the same old girl gets surprise of her life, and handsome stranger mends her broken heart. Yes, Savannah does end up with a broken heart but I never felt like this wasn’t its own story. I was surprised how quick I got caught up in the story and characters. I enjoyed reading and getting to know Savannah and Kayden!! Their heat factor is pretty high and I am happy to say Savannah was very likable! I can’t say that for Logan, he rubbed me the wrong way from the very start. Kayden on the other hand can rub me anytime! Yes, he just has that hot bad boy thing going on but you know underneath he is sweet as can be. My only complaint is it felt short and ended in a cliffhanger!! Luckily the wait is short, and book 2 is due out this Friday, May 24!! I can’t wait this is a great series, hurry and get started! You don’t want to miss out on getting to know Kayden!

Wow...where to start? Irresistible Desire was filled with amazingly hot sex scenes. The sexual chemistry between Savannah and Kayden was off the charts. They talks about their feelings toward each other was so intimate and heartfelt.

~Logan thought his life was going along just as he wanted it to. He thought he could deceive the one person he said he loved.
~Kayden a man out to make a life for himself. A billionaire cowboy with a broken heart and self proclaimed playboy. But when he meets Savannah at Envy magazine there is an instant attraction to one another.

The first half of the book was good. However, the second half was ALL sex. Kayden and Savannah's relationship was way too intense in the beginning... e.g. professing stuff like "I can't get you out of my head" after only saying like 5 sentences to each other and doing it. The relationship building was pretty much just sex and no character interaction. Plus, both of them supposedly gave up on love... minor spoiler- so why are they so quick to get together?
On another note, the writing was ok, though I did not like the dialogue. It just felt unnatural to me, e.g. "I reckon..." or "I'm pleased you find this..." plus, there was a lot of run-on sentences in the dialogue.
Anyway, this is a one day read, definitely an erotica with an average storyline. I guess I'll read the next one since I feel like this book was a set up for the rest of the series?

The first half of the book was good. However, the second half was ALL sex. Kayden and Savannah's relationship was way too intense in the beginning... e.g. professing stuff like "I can't get you out of my head" after only saying like 5 sentences to each other and doing it. The relationship building was pretty much just sex and no character interaction. Plus, both of them supposedly gave up on love... minor spoiler- so why are they so quick to get together?
On another note, the writing was ok, though I did not like the dialogue. It just felt unnatural to me, e.g. "I reckon..." or "I'm pleased you find this..." plus, there was a lot of run-on sentences in the dialogue.
Anyway, this is a one day read, definitely an erotica with an average storyline. I guess I'll read the next one since I feel like this book was a set up for the rest of the series?

The Savannah novels follow Savannah’s story. In Irresistible Desire, Savannah is an assistant editor dating her boyfriend Logan for four years. After the two get engaged, Savannah discovers Logan in a compromising position and breaks off their engagement. She retreats from L.A. to Galveston, Texas. Enter star Kayden Knox, the charismatic ladies’ man. Although Savannah initially tries to resist his charms and avoid falling for him, her heart and body can’t help but do just that.
Savannah is a wonderful and strong character. I really loved that she didn’t second guess herself after catching Logan cheating, she just broke it off. Although she does try to guard her heart with Kayden, it’s clear that the two of them belong together and she gives love a second chance. Kayden seems the man that every woman should guard themselves against, yet when he is with Savannah the two of them only have one desire: each other. This book is an excellent read, drama, hot sex, and kicking a dirt bag to the curb. What more could you ask for?

I had been hearing about how Kayden Knox was everyone's favorite book boyfriend. So first I became a fan of the Facebook pages for the book series, Kayden, and the author Danielle. All of that made me want these books even more. I used my Christmas gift card to purchase them in paperback (knowing that I would fall in love with Kayden) and boy did I. I read this book in less than a day. The Facebook pages show all different pictures of inspiration for these characters and let me tell you the book descriptions don't disappoint. Savannah is the girl so many of us wish we could be, the daughter of 2 loving parents (who just happen to be best selling country singers). The first book in this series starts everything off with a bang and sets up storylines for the following books. I love Savannah and Kayden. How can you go wrong with a billionaire cowboy, with a wounded heart, who sings, and who's hotter than the Texas sun to top it all off!

This is a great start to the series. Kayden Knox, wow, are there really any words for a Hot sex on stick , southern man? Yeah, Irresistible! I am itching to start turning the pages of book two, Inescapable Desire. I am looking forward to reading more about Savannah and Kayden!

I have seen this series all over the place and finally decided to pick up and see what all the hype was about. To say that I enjoyed Irresistible Desire is an understatement. This is a very quick fast read with an amazing story.
We meet Savannah, daughter of country music’s #1 duo, assistant editor at Envy magazine, and hopelessly in love with her boyfriend of four years Logan. Everything seems to be going perfectly for Savannah, and then her world is turned upside down.
When Savannah goes to Houston for Kayden Knox’s most influential man party for work, she decides she will take an extended week and stay at her parents beach house. She’s met Kayden before and he’s extremely good looking, and over the past few weeks they’ve talked a bit, but being in the same room together, the attraction and chemistry between the two is out of this world and quickly leads to some hot moments between these two.
Both Savannah and Kayden have been burned in previous relationships, so the attraction and not being able to get the other out of their mind scares the crap out of them. In just a short while these two feel closer to each other than they ever did with someone else.
I loved Kayden’s character, sure, he comes off as a player, and he is one, but the way he treats Savannah, and the way he talks to her.. WOW! I can’t wait to see more of Kayden in the series, and can only imagine how much hotter him and Savannah can get!
I loved Reagan and Brooklyn (Savannah’s best friends) as well. They brought the laughs and centered Savannah and helped her see past what has happened to her before. Brooklyn had me laughing out loud multiple times in this book and both of these characters brought some light into this story.
This book is one that I was unable to put down, and I found myself falling for Kayden along with Savannah. Their chemistry and their banter is amazing, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for them!
