When I was a teenager my dad liked to remind me (usually when I had a friend over) that I used to suck on my mother's nipples. I got him this book for Father's Day.
Hal is a fool for having rated a book so well illustrated so poorly. I wish it were better so that I could have given it 5 stars and meant the prior statement more strongly.
The faces & the illustrator's biography both make this a better encounter than many book encounters.
What the hay bale did I just read. This is the problem with weeding our comic/graphic novel section for the first time ever. I am finding the strangest things.
Was rearranging the bookshelves last night and found this again. I heart this book. Grabbed it when an old library was closing its doors and giving its books away--that was a good good day. Used to use it to introduce Freud to my humanities classes. Simple, charming, and with a lovely bite to it.
