Charlotte Ansari, international correspondent for CCN, has a problem. Her investigation into a clandestine society of assassins has made them very angry. And that's not the most frightening part. Her Asperger's son, who is now the leader of this global, murder-for-hire organization, has assigned its top-ranked assassin to take care of the problem.
This second book in the exciting CHARLOTTE ANSARI THRILLER series takes readers far beyond the boundaries of the first book. This wild ride moves from New York, to Ireland and the Turkish desert as Charlotte and her unwitting companions attempt to penetrate the greatest conspiracy in history.
To solve the mystery, Charlotte and her companions must use super-fast quantum computers, decipher the ancient text of the Book of Enoch, trace the bloodlines of Jewish priests back thousands of years, and explore the buried ruins of the oldest temple on earth. The conspiracy they discover, however, is as modern as today's headlines. And even more frightening.
The main plot of this book utilizes the mysteries of the Sicarii who held out against the Romans at Masada, the mysteries of “The Book of Enoch,” plus Biblical quotations and quantum physics to make not only a great main plot but also to tie several subplots together. Other authors are utilizing the same writing tools today. I have “The Book of Enoch,” “The Book of Jubilee,” and “The Book of Jasher,” of which there were several copies with the Dead Sea Scrolls, which confirmed that these were used extensively by the Jews of those times. In fact, the “Enoch” and “Jubilee” books really sound like they are dealing with extra-terrestrials and are fascinating to read on their own.
The author has many colorful characters involved, yet handles his flashbacks and plot extensions well. There are a couple of surprising events that are unexpected and the only criticism I have of the book is the last two or three pages, which I assume is because it may be a cliff hanger. I think that all readers who enjoy thrillers, mysteries and great use of the imagination when converting facts into fiction will truly enjoy this. I did and I recommend it.
Another action packed adventure that starts at the downfall of Masada and continues to the present day with a sect of assassins, private mercenaries, a well-known TV investigative reporter and a search for lost site where something must take place at the solstice of 2012. There is plenty to keep you reading in this one as family relationships known and unknown between some of the factions make matters even more confusing.
I like stories such as ones done by Dan Brown and so it's no surprise I liked both the books in this series as well. The only negative thing I would have to say is that sometimes the author went a little overboard on the "history" of certain things. I realize he was probably trying to connect factual history with his story to make it more believable however when it comes right down to it the story is fiction so cut out all that extra stuff and get on with it.
I really wanted to like this book but I was working more trying to like it than it was doing trying to keep me interested. The plot and history behind the storyline which why I gave it three stars was somewhat good and intriguing but the actions and scenarios of the characters involved really made the story unstimulating and with that the story just fell totally flat.
OH WOW I LOVE THIS BOOK SO SO SO SO MUCH! I WAS SO GLAD I WAS RIGHT THAT GIDEON DIDN"T DIE! Great novel of corporate espionage, asassians, and everything else of epic of Biblical proportions

A rousing follow up to Shekinah Legacy and a conclusion that leaves room for more. I cannot wait to read the adventures of these characters and their evolution into the future.
