Have you ever lusted after a famous musician? Or maybe you've fantasized about being 'the one' to be plucked from the audience. What really happens when the lights go down?
With a fast-spinning turnstile on his bedroom door, Julian MacAvoy spreads his musical gospel to his adoring followers, leaving broken hearts in his wake. What did happen between Julian, Barbie and Young Elvis that one night after the gig?
THE FAN is a short explicit romp - written for those of you who desperately need to know what happened in that bathroom - or for anyone else who has lusted after a famous musician!
Toni Kenyon lives in Auckland with her husband (and their dog and cat) the goldfish is just squatting! She writes romance by day, sings in a band by night and in her spare (yeah, right) time she wrangles difficult heroes into line, so they can star in her next novel. Toni also loves the garden and has a special place in her heart for her fruit trees and her veggie patch. A keen amateur photographer, Toni posts “Mood of the Suburbs” shots across most of her social media profiles. She loves to hear from like-minded people, so pop on over and say 'Hi' any time. Visit her website and sign up for her newsletter so you can stay informed about her new releases.
The Fan is a quick and easy story to read, and fills in all the gaps about what really happened in Julian MacAvoy’s Hotel room (Private Love in a Public Place) when he picked up a fan and her friend for some night time activities!
All three characters (Julian, Caitlin and Steve) are brought to life quickly and easily and I thoroughly enjoyed their post-concert romp. It was great having a chance to read from Julian’s POV during the sexual interlude. I really enjoyed getting to feel a little of his frustration and desire for Mags; and the reasoning behind this threesome and his other regular sexual exploits.
I think author Toni Kenyon did a great job of portraying the fan (Caitlin). Her hesitant yet eager display of fandom, and wanting to please her ‘idol’ was very well written; I’m sure we can all relate to fangirling in some way, shape, or form!
Well written, funny and sexy, The Fan gets 5 stars from me ~<;]
This was a very short novella about what went on between the rock star and two of his fans. Don't want to give it away. But if you read the first book and am still curious read this. It was steamy.
Felt sorry for Megs caught between this mess. It doesn't explain the marks that were described on his body in the first book when he came out of the room. Also the noises she heard from his room.
This is every teenage girls fantasy, to be in the bed of their rock star idol. Kenyon does an excellent job of shedding light on what happened that night with the blonde girl and the Elvis lookalike. Short and sweet...and a tasty little treat.

The Fan is a novella in the Private Love series. The book details the encounter that Jules has with one of his fans and The Young Elvis. Told in multiple POV, I felt more connected to these characters than I did the characters in the first book. Again the scenery is set very well. This time around the characters were more developed. If you like a rock star story and how they interact with their fans, then this one is for you I would, however, read the first installment of the series first. This novella will make much more sense then.
This can be read as a stand alone but won't make much sense unless you read the first book of the series. There is no HEA and no cliffhanger.
The Fan was a quick and easy read. It fills in the gaps of what went down with Julian, the blonde, and Elvis in his hotel room. The 2 characters of Caitlin and Steve quickly came to life. It was refreshing to read about a female fan that wasn't the vindictive type and just wanted to please her idol. I simply loved getting to hear Julian's POV so I could understand his frustration and diva attitude a bit better. To understand his sexual exploits, especially this one, which was a slap in the face of Mags. Toni Kenyon did a great job with The Fan and it was HOT! I recommend you don't skip over this amazing interlude in the Julian/Mags Story.
Needed editing, but very near professional. Not a romance though, more of a fantasy. I get the feeling that Steve and Kaitlen were supposed to end up in a relationship after but her attraction to him was based on helplessness and his attraction to her felt like duty. Julian was far too much of an arrogant jerk to interest me in reading any of the other books.
Super quick read. This book comes from the first book. We now get to see what happened when Julian picked a fan from the crowd. The fan brings a male friend for moral support. Julian brings them to his room. Mags that he doesn't need her. It just causes Julian a ton of bad fame.I give it a solid 3 books
This is what I like to call a mid-day lunch time read. It's a short story that fills in the gaps about what happened in the hotel room when Julian picked up a fan and her friend for a little fun fun. ;) I love when a author will pick a scene go more in depth with it. And I also love the break I get from the world with my little reads like this.
This is a very short read about what happened the night Jules brought the two people back to the hotel from the club. This is from a scene in Private Love in a Public Place. Very steamy.

This quick and steamy novella is a hot look at a scene from book 1. I really enjoyed seeing this through Julian's POV his frustration was apparent. But seeing the Fan come to life was interesting too. A nice little interlude. ~ 4 stars
Interesting, but not surprising, that Jules is not, after all, what the rags portray him to be. He does, however, have Mags' and everyone else's attention again!
